Synopsis: Ikta Solork is a carefree young man who only wants two things in life: a woman on his arm and a place to nap. Unfortunately, his peaceful life is destroyed when war breaks out between the Katjvarna Empire and the neighboring Republic of Kioka. Ikta and his childhood friend, Yatorishino Igsem, join the army as military officers, where they meet the infantryman Matthew Tetojirichi, the sniper Torway Remion, and the medic Haroma Becker on a boat heading for the military exam site.

However, after a rogue storm sinks their vessel, the five of them end up in enemy territory near a military outpost. There, they discover that the heir to the Katjvarnan throne, Princess Chamille Kitora Katjvanmaninik, has been taken hostage. The five are able to rescue her, and as a reward, each one of them is granted the title of Imperial Knight—one of the highest honors a soldier can receive. It seems that Ikta will have to put his dream of tranquility on hold, as he must now become the hero he never wanted to be.

My Thoughts?: oh you guys, this shit was intense AND in tents— sometimes hammocks and caves. I loved this anime. I know I say that a lot. But I did. It’s really hecking good, I recommend it. My brother thought the art style was weird, I didn’t have a problem with it. The main character Ikta is OP as fuck. Like he’s just so fucking smart and badass. [which I loovvee] and Yatorishino (as seen above) is just — and I can’t believe I’m saying this— waifuu. I love her. I love her more than I love fresh cut grass after the rain. She kicks so much ass. I would definitely recommend this anime. If you love military animes, strategic moves and some straight up kick ass. Watch this. But, even with all this there are real stakes at hand. Lives lost. You gotta check this one out. Plus, the foe near the end is hecking tight!

Overall, 100/10 man it’s good, but you’ve definitely gotta be into the setting

Please watch first its great m8 Ok i just finished s1 of Alderamin on the sky and I actually LOVE THE ENDING bc firstly, S2 WILL BE OCCURING AND IM HYPED + secondly, losing a war and inviting in the enemy means that all the interesting new characters we met during the last couple episodes like jean and his buddy girl and the tall dude and the small girl and everyone will be kinda joined with solark and the squad so FRIENDSHIP WISE EVIE IS PLEASED + thirdly, losing a war, as princess chamille explained, is perfect for solark (so basically his original and creative character has the perfect set of ideals, personality traits and morals for the plan so creds to the writer 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻) + im interested to see who will find out about the plan because most people would be like 'giudwfgkjsrgkfjdhkjadbjkv wtf solark you dick' and call him out so the writers gotta be sneaky and smart about who finds out. Morally, its crazy (so many have died and probs will die due to this war and solark's choices and they are going to forfeit so that potentially, the empire will benefit???) so even ppl like torway and haro and matthew might become opposed if they found out. Like with the ideas of science and religion in the empire, it's obvious many are opposed to non traditional ideas and beliefs (which is probs why they included this) so solark and princessy must be careful about who will understand their decision and support them + how the fuckty fuck fuck ARE THEY GONNA PRESERVE THEIR CULTURE WHILE HANDING THEM SELVES OVER TO THE ENEMY ALL WHILE TRYING TO MAKE OUT THAT THEY DIDNT FRIKKING LOSE THE FRIKKING WAR ON PURPOSE and not get murdered for treason themselves like boi??? Rant over maybe
