I don't get people who say Gale just whines about Mystra all the time. Like do they not realize WHY? Do they not realize there's a perfectly understandable reason for it!?!
Yeah, I don't get it either. Every character "whines" about someone. Astarion whines about Cazador, especially during the second and third act. Lae'zel whines about pleasing Vlaakith, especially during the Crèche mission. Hell, she'll even betray you if you fail her persuasion checks. Shadowheart whines about Shar and snaps at you if you criticize her goddesses of darkness. Then, if you prove she's being used, she falls into a deep depression and still whines about Shar. Wyll whines about Mizora and she's a constant presence in his life, to the point that she'll park her abusive ass directly in your camp just to torment him. If you romance him, she sees everything. She watches you 👀. He has no privacy. I think Karlach might be the only companion who doesn't constantly whine about someone, but she does complain about her engine a lot.
But these aren't criticisms. They're absolutely, 100% justified. Astarion has every right to whine. Lae'zel has every right to whine. They all have every right to whine. I just want to emphasise the hypocrisy when it comes to how players judge Gale. Every character has a dark past looming over them, our chatty wizard included. If you get mad at him, it's only fair to keep the same energy for all the other companions, because they're in the exact same situation. They're trapped. They're victims. They're suffering. Of course it's going to be a major talking point, especially when there's a person/goddesses/devil responsible for that pain.
Tumblr media
Honestly, I think the only people who get annoyed when Gale talks about Mystra are would-be romancers who get turned off when he doesn't immediately throw himself at their Tav's feet. Have you seen the somewhat viral video where a streamer drools over him, but goes full jealous mode when she sees him conjuring the image of Mystra in his palm? It's funny, but she acted like they were already a couple ... but at that point in the game Gale didn't even know she was interested! I'm certainly no expert, but isn't that how relationships work? It's pretty hard to find someone who doesn't have an ex, and he only talks about Mystra in a positive light before you express interest. He's insecure and he feels lost without her, but if you romance him it makes him realise how messed up their "relationship" was in the first place. It's a healing process, not a competition. He never compares you to Mystra in any way other than to say that you're better, and that's only if you ask.
Tumblr media
Gale is also arguably the most romantic character out of the bunch, so I don't know why people get so upset. Mystra, much like Shar, Cazador, Mizora, etc., is a constant negative in Gale's life and the reason he's dying. She could remove the orb with ease but she won't, so of course he's going to "whine" about her. He feels guilty at first, then he feels used and angry, and by the end you can either convince him to become her Chosen again (which is entirely on you, though you remain his priority) or you can convince him to reject Mystra and leave the crown in the sea. The orb remains lodged in his chest, because Mystra's too petty to remove it, but it becomes completely inert. Either way, he's happy and he devotes himself entirely to you, not Mystra.

Crystals and Salt
Tumblr media
Hello! I have recently had a lot of people ask me about salt, crystals, cleansing, and damage, so I wanted to quickly make a post about it! I felt like this information could be helpful for my crystal friends!
First: What is salt cleansing? Where does it come from?
Salt cleansing is the process of using salt too energetically remove negativity or spiritual damage from a crystal while also boosting its own natural energy. Often times this process is simple, lay your crystal in a bed of salt and let it rest and recharge for 15-30 minutes. This historically comes from Mesopotamia when people would dress food products or clean themselves they used salt because of its anti-bacterial properties and it was said to protect from negative spirits. We also know that every culture on the planet had spiritual interactions with salt, like the Kalahari salt ritual where salt is considered sacred because it dries and stores food in travel. Salt rituals can be found in native folklore as well as in new age spaces for its protective and purifying abilities. Scientifically salt has been used to cure, dry, and preserve food and items like flowers for millennia, it also has been used as a saline solution when people are injured because of its antimicrobial properties, hence its associations through time!
What crystals cant go in salt?
While yes, I could start with crystals that are salt safe HOWEVER I feel like we are oversaturated with that information as most crystals are salt safe, I wanted to really explain what crystals cant go into salt, why, and what exactly happens. This is the pressing question that inspired this post, while a lot of crystals can go in salt, there are plenty that cannot! This is because salt is not only abrasive and can damage some soft crystals, but it also can lead to chemical reactions on some of them, so below is a list of guidelines and basic crystals that do not belong in salt.
Any crystal under 7 on the Mohs Hardness scale do not belong in salt beds or salt water. This is because it not only can scratch these stones, however you have a higher chance for reactivity in some of these raw crystals.
Example stones:
Jasper (cracks and breaks)
Fluorite (scratches, cracks, and disintegrates)
Rhodonite (Scratches, chemically reacts)
Bloodstone (Disintegrates)
Malachite (Breaks apart)
Sodalite (Discolors, cracks)
Moonstone (Debatable, experts are torn, better not to risk it)
Calcite (Scratches, some possibly react)
Selenite (Scratches, Disintegrates)
Kyanite (Disintegrates)
Apatite (Disintegrates)
Celestite (Breaks, Disintegrates)
Alabaster (Disintegrates, breaks)
Amber (Deforms, breaks)
Angelite (Disintegrates)
Azurite (Disfigures, Disintegrates)
Hematite (Discolors, possible reactions)
Jet (Disintegrates)
There are many others ranging from opal to pyrite, so here are some general rules of thumb to follow
If it end in -ite chances are it is not salt safe
If its under 7 in hardness its best to triple check if its safe
if it is raw triple check it wont react with salt
If its glittery (example: amazonite) it looses luster in salt
If its reactive to water, salt attracts moisture in the air, you need to triple-check (ex: angelite)
anything reactive to basic solutions (salt water has a PH of 8.1 which is quite basic)
I hope this helps! I know this is not a perfect list, or even a perfect post, but I hope this helps some people along on their researching journey!

New to this blog, so sorry if I’m missing a few points, but I was wondering if Core is able to enter the current Dreamtale, considering the state it’s in, would they be affected by the mass negative energy? If they can enter, do they just choose not to BECAUSE they can be affected?
What’s the take on letting survivors from Dreamtale that have been affected by the negativity like those wandering husks into the OT?
In general, for timelines that have survivors but they have some sort of deadly virus like infection that has something to do with their universe, would they be allowed in?
So for the first point, I don't think Core is affected by it. On account of the whole being omnipresent, I don't think they could be conceibably affected by the overwhelming negative energy. Like how core used to be scared of guns when they were alive, but they became desensitized when Omnipresent. Maybe if the negativity affected all of the multiverse, it'd do something.
On the matter of the husks, I consulted with my resident Dreamtale expert, and since the husks aren't capable of thought, it's probably a fool's errand to try and save them. Maybe Core would give it a shot, probably not- I don't know enough.
As for that last question, they'd probably try to accomodate them as much as possible. Like, maybe give them some magic shielding so they won't affect anyone, or just remove their infection outright (after all, there are some of the brightest minds in the multiverse working in the OT, someone's ought to figure it out).

‘A couple of centuries ago, farmers produced multiple crops to feed their families and maybe put aside some surplus as a safeguard for the coming year. Only if they had an outstanding harvest were they able to sell some of their product,’ he explained.
‘Monoculture emerged as access to much larger distant markets made it increasingly profitable to specialise. Specialisation meant more efficient planting and harvesting, fewer types of expensive equipment, fewer labourers with specialised knowledge of individual crops, and strengthened knowledge of one value chain and commercial market, including all its regulations and tariffs,’ he added.
Farming, once one of the most natural of endeavours, has become ‘artificialised,’ claims Raul Zornoza Belmonte, an expert on sustainable land use and crop diversification and professor of agricultural engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Spain.
‘This globalised capital, chemical and energy-intensive sector is having a negative impact not only on the environment in terms of loss of biodiversity, soil health and greenhouse gas emissions but also on farm productivity and expenses,’ he explained.
Through the Diverfarming project, Zornoza and his team have tackled these challenges by creating a free web-based decision support tool to provide tailor-made solutions, and guidelines for diversified cropping systems. This app also includes a toolbox for adapting the different agricultural activities and even a new prototype of an improved machine for tilling the soil.
youtube
Diverfarming’s community of ‘diverfarmers’ implemented these tools and is now enjoying the benefits. ‘In vineyards and orchards, organic farmers have introduced herbs like thyme and oregano alongside or between the main crops. This has reduced the weeds and their expensive and time-consuming removal, and with the same labour, instead of weeds, farmers now have fresh-cut herbs that can be sold as they are or from which their essential oils can be extracted and sold,’ said Zornoza.
‘Aromatic herbs and their beautiful flowers attract beneficial insects – and potentially agritourists, a boon for rural tourism – while increasing soil quality and nutrients and enhancing water retention, and with no effect so far on the quality or production volume of fruits or wine,’ he added.
“ In vineyards and orchards, organic farmers have introduced herbs like thyme and oregano alongside or between the main crops. This has reduced the weeds and their expensive and time-consuming removal, and with the same labour, instead of weeds, farmers now have fresh-cut herbs that can be sold as they are or from which their essential oils can be extracted and sold.
But the advantages of growing different crops together don’t stop here, the practice can also limit erosion, improve the storage of soil carbon and reduce the amount of nitrogen in water. It also provides home to a much greater range of life both below the soil and above from tiny microbes and creepy crawlies to reptiles, birds and mammals.

Drain Deimos
Tumblr media
Image © Capcom, accessed at the Resident Evil Wiki here
[Sponsored by @coldbloodassassin. The drain deimos got a significant overhaul in its abilities between RE3 and the recent remake. So I wrote a whole monster before double checking the sponsor's post, and finding that they wanted the other one! So I've included both. The original one is what I'm using the picture for, and is the main stat block, and the remake version is a variant. And gets a new name since it's not doing as much draining anymore.]
Drain Deimos CR 5 CE Aberration This creature appears something like a grotesquely mutated insect, warped into human size and humanoid proportions. It has six limbs, the four upper with two hooked claws and the lowest pair with three. It has four eyes surrounding a pair of mandibles and a sharp proboscis, and exposed muscle appears between rents in its exoskeleton.
A drain deimos is a mutant flea, permanently altered by exposure to fleshwarping toxins and diseases. They are almost never created intentionally—a mundane flea that feeds on fleshwarped creatures may mutate in such a way that its larvae will develop into drain deimoses over several generations, and a giant flea may transform into such a horror spontaneously. Drain deimoses are not as skilled at jumping as their progenitor species, but make up for it with skilled climbing abilities.
Drain deimoses feed on both blood and spinal fluid, and the more intelligent a prey item is, the more valuable it is seen as a food source. As such, drain deimoses prefer to attack humanoids than animals, and often go after wizards, bards or other individuals with higher than average intelligence. In prey-rich areas, like cities, drain deimoses will often gather in groups, but they do not cooperate with each other when hunting.
A drain deimos is parthenogenetic, making and fertilizing its own eggs. Thus, a single monster can rapidly multiply to create dozens of monsters in a matter of months.
Variant Drain Deimos An inject deimos is a further mutation of the drain deimos, in which the proboscis has become an ovipositor. Rather than sucking up spinal fluid, an inject deimos inserts its eggs into its host’s body, which devour it rapidly from the inside. Rather than pinning a single victim and drinking them dry, an inject deimos’ strategy usually involves grabbing, implanting and moving on quickly. An inject deimos has the negative energy affinity defensive ability, and the following special attack instead of brain drain and smell brains: Implant (Ex) An inject deimos can insert its young into a grappled opponent as part of the action to maintain a grapple. A creature can resist this implantation with a successful DC 17 Fortitude save. If it fails this save, it takes 3d6 points of slashing and piercing damage each round as the young eat it from the inside. A remove disease or similar effect purges the infestation automatically and without further harm. A cure spell cast on the victim, or a DC 25 Heal check made as a full round action, removes the parasites, but nauseates the host for 1 round unless the host succeeds another DC 17 Fortitude save. The save DC is Constitution based.

A creature reduced to 0 Con or 0 Int from this ability dies. Catfall (Ex) A drain deimos takes minimum damage from falling, and always lands on its feet. Expert Climber (Ex) A drain deimos’ racial bonus on Climb checks is +16, and it can climb smooth or vertical surfaces, or on ceilings, as if it was under the effects of a spider climb spell. Smell Brains (Ex) A drain deimos can detect creatures with functioning brains within 30 feet. This functions as the scent monster quality, except that it can only be used to detect creatures with a physical brain (which eliminates most constructs, elementals, oozes and plants, but includes some corporeal undead). A drain deimos can also detect which creatures have higher or lower Intelligence scores.

Pop Culture Builds 13: Sailor Moon
In many a fantasy story, destiny is sometimes inscrutable, but always seems to pull through in the end, be it a terrible doom or an unlikely hero rising to the occasion and saving the day.
If Destiny was an entity in the Sailor Moon series, however, you might be forgiven for assuming that they were completely off their rocker when they deemed that the fate of the universe rested in the hands of Usagi Tsukino.
A lazy and selfish girl and chronic academic underachiever (and a bit of a crybaby), very few would assume that she was hero material at all. (perhaps this is why she could get by with a Kentian-level secret identity of a simple outfit change) However, she is in fact the reincarnation of Princess Serenity, and the current bearer of the title of Sailor Moon.
With the divine power granted to her by her cat advisor Artemis and the transformation brooch, she (reluctantly) took on the mantle of a Sailor Senshi and fought for justice, and in time, grew to become a true hero, casting aside her cowardice and indolence for bravery and determination alongside her fellows.
Usagi is more or less the character that serves as the flagship for the “Magical Girl” genre of manga and anime, and while she was not the first, she is a lot of people’s first image of the archetype, so let’s have some fun building her in Pathfinder!
Usagi is human, but that need not be the case for your build.
My first thought with Sailor Moon was to make her a magical child vigilante. It only makes sense right, given that the archetype is directly based on the genre. However, the more I looked at it the more I realized that the magical child’s spells really just did not gel with what the character’s capabilities are.
As such, I elected to do an alternate build, specifically the zealot vigilante archetype, which grants her access to the divine magic of a cleric, which as we’ll see is much better at emulating her blessed cosmic powers.
As far as talents go, perhaps the most essential is Transformation Sequence, which grants her the same flashy quick-change abilities as the magical child archetype! Additionally, she should take the Redemption Inquisition from her zealot archetype, giving her a way and an imperative to offer those who were turned to evil by sinister means a way back to goodness. Beyond that, consider the channel energy, empower symbol, and zealous smite talents from the zealot archetype, and the harsh judgement and returning weapon (for her tiara, which we’ll get to later) for her other vigilante talents. As for her social talents beyond transformation sequence, I’d recommend beginner’s luck, case the joint, feign innocence, gossip collector, many guises (thanks to her disguise pin), notorious fool, obscurity, skill familiarity (perform: sing), and well-known expert (exclusively in regards to manga and video games).
As far as feats go, Iron Will, Familiar Bond, and later Improved Familiar are important to grant her a cat and later silvanshee familiar as a stand-in for Artemis. Meanwhile, she should also take Improved Unarmed Strike for those times she fought hand to hand with the forces of evil. Beyond that, feats that improve her divine magic and abilities are a good idea.
As a divine caster that uses both offensive and healing magic, Sailor Moon should be packing the cure spells, as well as dispel magic and other spells that can remove negative conditions and enchantments. Additonally, holy smite and spear of purity, as well as other attack spells based on light and untyped damage are all good choices. Atonement is also a good idea as well.
Usagi does have some signature equipment at her disposal, such as her tiara which doubles as a throwing weapon, easily represented as a glamered holy chakram that gains the returning property from her vigilante talents. Meanwhile, Usagi has wielded a number of magical rods which mostly served to channel her powers, but essentially any magical rod that can also double as a light mace can work here, adding it’s power to her arsenal, though a liberator’s rod, rod of steadfast resolve, or scepter of divine providence make the most sense thematically. Beyond that, equip her with armor and magic items befitting her needs.
If that doesn’t appeal to you, you could always go back to the obvious choice of the magical child vigilante, or perhaps a chosen one paladin. Alternately you could go full cleric or warpriest, using disguise self items to represent the transformation. If going for a 2E build, the vigilante is an archetype for any class in that edition, making pretty much any caster an option there, though obviously cleric, oracle, or a divine-casting witch is the natural pick there.
The fact that the transformation sequence talent exists means somebody knew that magical transforming heroes deserved better than the spell list that the magical child is stuck with. So feel free to use this build with any sort of magical vigilante hero, not just an Usagi-expy!

Exploring Pendulums: An Insight into Their Use and Effectiveness
Tumblr media
Inspired by a recent question from a client, this post explores the world of pendulums—those intriguing tools that swing from a chain and offer answers through their movements. In the midst of exploring this topic, I’m reminded of my own journey with pendulums, which started quite unexpectedly.
A Personal Journey with Pendulums
A few years ago, I was given a pendulum as a gift by a close friend who was deeply interested in metaphysical practices. At first, I was skeptical. It seemed too simplistic to provide meaningful insights. But one evening, feeling a bit lost about a personal decision, I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, the pendulum's responses were not only clear but also resonated deeply with me. That experience sparked a fascination with this tool, prompting me to explore its use further and understand how it might be working.
What Is a Pendulum?
A pendulum is a simple divination tool consisting of a weight suspended from a chain or string. When held still, the pendulum can swing freely. Users ask the pendulum questions and interpret its movements to gain insights or answers. The pendulum's movements can be classified into different directions, typically representing "yes," "no," or "maybe."
How to Use a Pendulum
Cleansing: Before use, it's essential to cleanse the pendulum to remove any negative or residual energies. This can be done through various methods such as running it under water, placing it in sunlight, or using smoke from sage or incense.
Programming: Programming involves setting intentions and establishing a connection between the user and the pendulum. Hold the pendulum and clearly state what each direction or movement represents. This step ensures that both the user and the pendulum are aligned in their communication.
Asking Questions: Formulate clear and specific questions to avoid ambiguity. Hold the pendulum still and ask your question. Observe the pendulum's movements and interpret them based on the programming you established.
Is the Pendulum a Legitimate Tool for Divination?
The effectiveness of pendulums as divination tools is often debated. Here are a few perspectives:
Psychological Influence: Some experts suggest that pendulum movements can be attributed to the ideomotor effect, where subtle unconscious movements by the user influence the pendulum. This explanation posits that the pendulum reflects the user's subconscious thoughts rather than an external source of guidance.
Energetic Connection: Others believe that pendulums work by tapping into a higher or universal consciousness. They argue that the pendulum acts as a conduit, allowing the user to access information beyond their immediate awareness.
Personal Experience: For many users, the pendulum's effectiveness is validated by personal experience. If a user finds consistent and meaningful answers, it reinforces their belief in the tool's validity. Personal intuition and interpretation play a significant role in this perspective.
Tips for Effective Use
Practice Regularly: The more you use the pendulum, the more familiar you will become with its movements and the nuances of interpreting them.
Trust Your Intuition: Pendulums often work best when the user trusts their intuition and remains open to the information received.
Document Your Results: Keeping a journal of your pendulum sessions can help track accuracy and provide insights into your own interpretative process.
Pendulums can be a valuable addition to your divination practices, offering a unique way to access insights and guidance. Whether viewed through the lens of psychological influence or energetic connection, their effectiveness often comes down to personal belief and experience. By understanding the mechanics behind their use and remaining open to different interpretations, you can better integrate pendulums into your spiritual or intuitive practices.
Reflecting on my own initial skepticism and subsequent experiences, I’ve come to appreciate the pendulum not just as a tool, but as a gateway to deeper self-discovery. For those exploring pendulums for the first time or seeking to deepen their understanding, this tool can be a fascinating journey into personal insight and intuitive growth.

Danny Phantom Cryptid AU! Should I put the fanfic on AO3 or Fanfiction.net? I'm still a new fanfic writer so idk where the hip places are for posting. Let me know what you think though! :) here's a scene of Sam researching a new anomaly!!
-------------------------------------------------
Sam stretched her arms and back, sighing as she felt the pops of her bones. She was hunched over her laptop for hours researching the anomaly they saw earlier that day. Luckily, she would have no distractions due to the boys tracking down information on it to classify it. It had been a while since she was by herself, and she was grateful for it.
Droning goth music danced from her speakers. She kept it low enough so it wasn't too loud, but just enough to fill her head. Music always helped her focus. Sam reached for the veggie platter she bought that morning when they three friends went grocery shopping to replenish the van. She was able to get some oat milk and veggie burgers, finally having a little healthier of a snack than vegan chocolates and veggie fries. It always surprised her how much junk food she could eat with her diet.
Sam scrolled through the website, pausing for a moment. "Interesting..." She murmered, removing the pen from her ear and scribbling down the information. "A dual minded ghost. I wonder...?" She tapped the pen on her lower lip, scrolling again.
"The Ghost of Liberty Library is said to split in two, with different halves possessing its own unique ghostly energy. When split, the entity has been seen with two opposing ecto-signatures, where the one had a somber pulse, and the other had a more aggressive pulse. When ghost hunters have encountered the dual ghosts, they were coaxed in by a crying half, only to be chased out of the building or have strongly negative interactions with the other half. The Ghosts have never been seen completely alone and have often been seen as one singular entity. When combined, the spiritual energy in the location is too intense to bare, and most ghost hunters refrain from entering the premises."
"Hmmm..." Sam thought. "This might be tricky..." She pulled out her phone, ready to dial an expert in entity type, and stopped after spying a familiar number. She couldn't help but smile and open the text
"Miss you 💓🌹💗"
It was Paulina. She also sent a picture of her and her friend Star at a concert, both with big smiles on their faces and peace signs. Sam messaged back.
"Miss you too. Hope you're having fun! Let me.know when you get home safe 🖤🦇"
After a small pause and a sigh, she went back to work, dialing another number. The phone rang about three times until the person on the other side picked up.
"This is Valerie."
"Valerie, hey! It's Sam."
"Oh hey Sam! It's been a while since I've heard from you guys." The excitement in her voice was bright. "Where are you guys now? How are the others? Danny hasn't pissed any entity off from talking too much yet, right? And has Tuck finally worn that new beret i sent with the last care package?" Sam laughed, smiling big. It had been almost two months since their last conversation. With being in so many dead zones, it was close to impossible to keep a good signal. Luckily, the gas station parking lot they settled in for the night at had wifi and a solid four bars.
"They've been fine, but still the same old Danny and Tuck. Luckily, Danny hasn't caused any more issues than he usually does... although, when we were studying a gathering of small gnomes in Northern Nevada, he accidentally tripped on their king. You can't really come back from something like that." Laughter bellowed out from the phone. "And Tuck loves the new beret. He hasn't taken it off since he got it!"
"Good! I paid a good amount for it!"
"We're currently at a gas station in Eastern Colorado. It's probably the most drab place we've been to so far. I didn't know there were some places without telephone poles... im glad this place has some service and decent wifi." Sam could hear the smile and humor in Valerie's response.
"There's a reason you don't hear too much about the area. Tell me when you see a coyote and a roadrunner."
"You'll be the first to know," Sam said, with a half smile. She lifted her paper to look at her notes. "The reason I called is to ask you about a ghost category. We're currently investigating a case out here and got a blip on the Fenton Finder. It's a new anomaly, which means it's from the portal explosion, so we're planning on cleaning up the damage. The only thing is, though, this ghost is a dual-minded ghost. It's two ghosts that are also one. I haven't seen anything like it before and the sites and books I have haven't given me any more information." Sam switched the phone to her other ear. " I'm not sure how we should address it without some kind of idea of what we're dealing with. Have you run into something like this before?" There was a small pause and a ruffling of papers on the other end. Usually a good sign...
"Hmmmm... I'd be lying if I said I hadn't heard of it. There aren't many cases like it. I haven't seen any in my hunts, though, not even in the ghost zone, but according to one of my papers, it's more than likely an entwined energy issue. Now, that could mean they were bonded in real life, past lives, molded together after the explosion, which may be the most likely option, any meddling of other entities, or even an intentional entwining." Sam shuddered at the idea. Two souls forced to always stay together was a horrifying prospect. "How does it respond to the human world?" Sam finished writing down the information before answering. She told the other in detail what she had learned.
"That sounds... intense. My guess is a couple from the past? Maybe some grief between the two? The aggressive part might be what is protecting the somber part from harm? Being able to separate is unique, though... Let me do some more research and ask around. There has to be another hunter that may know about this. Maybe see if Danny could communicate with his ghostly friends?"
"I'll ask him when he gets back. Thanks, Val! I'll let you know if I find any more information that'll help."
"Anytime, Sam, and back at ya. Tell the others I say hi?"
"Of course."
After their good byes, Sam turned back to the computer. Most sites said the same thing over and over again, repeating the same story with the same sightings. She rolled her eyes. "They keep stealing from each other..." She mumbled, scrolling more. After about a half hour, there was a swift knock on the van's back door before it flew open. Danny and Tucker climbed into the back, hauling in their gear.
"Hey guys, I just called Val, and she says-"
"The guy's a loony!" Danny growled, kicking his shoes off his feet. "An absolute fruit loop."
"We seem to keep finding them. I blame you for being half ghost." Tucker responded, opening the mini fridge they hooked up to their makeshift home. Danny gave him a confused look.
"What's that got to do with anything?" He asked, changing his shirt. He threw the dirty one on the coach and wrestled the clean one on.
"Hello? Weird attracts weird!" Tucker said, rolling his eyes. He opened up a container and snagged a spoon. "Dude, I mean, half your friends are also ghosts."
"You're one to talk..." The dirty shirt flew and landed on Tuckers head. "Mr. 'I'm-obsessed-with-technology-and-can't-function-without-even-a-pager'." Tucker tore the shirt off his head and glared at the other. He put his container down and started towards Danny, putting him in a headlock. Right as he did so, and as the roigh housing began, Sam sighed and hit her head onto the table.
And just like that, all of her peace and quietness was gone.

Unable to explain the unexplainable leads him down a path of curiosity far removed from his old days of photojournalism. The man left it behind so to speak. Embracing a whole new world outside the realm of possibilities is apt for his current life. He partnered with a few people over these last few years to delve into paranormal aspects of this world. Cases led him down a darker path than others. Landon never considered himself a firm believer. A touch of skepticism to this day only to keep grounded. Reality might not be the best solution going from journalism to full on paranormal investigations. The last place he had been held some type of energy that still felt heavy. Like something hadn't entirely stayed behind. The thought isn't pleasant by a long shot.
"This might sound weird. Or maybe not." Landon began with a tiny smile, forcing a calm exterior despite his growing concerns. "The last investigation I was on left me with some foreboding energy. Or something like that. I'm not exactly someone who grew up believing in these sorts of things. But my career change has led me to look into paranormal activity." He paused, genuinely aware of the movie reference. "That's not a pun by the way." He shook his head, heaving a sigh. "I just don’t know if I should keep doing this. What path it’ll lead me down. Somehow it’s getting to me more than I expected it to.” @indiestarter
