güneşe sırtını yasla
ağaca kucak aç
yüzünü çiçeğe dön
ellerini buluta değdir
burnunu yağmura kaldır
yanaklarını kediye sür
ayaklarını toprağa bas
dişlerini aynaya göster
kalbini bana aç
gözlerini gözlerime bırak
gerisi bende

Hey Sam/Iris. I don’t know if you still use this tumblr, but your on is amazing, probably the best one i’ve met (though Kisara is one of my favorite characters, it makes me sad how Nettie got to life a good, happy life while Kisara was..*sniff* stoned ;-;) *wipes tears* but it’s ok now! Your oc is just too great!
Hello there!! Wow that’s super kind of you, thank you so so much! I’m super glad you like my girls ;w;
I love Kisara too and yeah, though she does live a pretty harsh life compared to Nef, they at least meet again (and I expand her story with young Seto a bit more so their romance has more basis xD).
One thing I am doing though is that in the Memory World arc, one of Neftis’ missions in the Shadow RPG is saving Kisara from dying :3 and she will succeed. (the Shadow RPG is just a game recreating the past, it’s not the past itself, so Kisara living won’t change history at all).

(this is art I’ve made of Kisara in the style of duel links, please do not use without credit)

Narinder takes a deep, gasping breath. His eyes fly open.
Deep in his chest, a heart beats.
He grins.
The coffin is dark and smells strongly of salt. He kicks experimentally. The lid shifts, allowing in a flicker of firelight. He kicks again, harder this time. The sarcophagus lid flies off and lands with a loud clatter.
Narinder is still wrapped in linen, still adorned with the jewelry he left the compound in, plus a little extra that Neftis had added to ‘spruce up’ his dead appearance. He also has breath in his lungs and a perfectly sharp sword already clutched in his hand; that’s all he needs.

Character sheet for Sam, Iris and Neftis in the Memory World Arc.
My ocs are super old, and I think I've finally reached a final form for them, hence the details explained in these :3.
Got inspired by some ygo…arc V? Magazine pages for this, I’ve always wanted to make character profiles for these 2! Sam and Iris now have a bit more visual difference, Iris’ bangs are straight like Neftis’.
Some fun trivia about Neftis. When Pegasus found a tablet with what looked like a dragon (the same one from the Tablet of Lost Memories) and a phoenix linked to the Millenium Pendant and Rod, the Egyptian inscriptions described a “phoenix of Neftis” (referring to the phoenix that way bc it was Neftis’ ka). So Pegasus named the monster as such, thinking that was the monster’s name, linked to the Egyptian goddess Nephthys and not an individual. So Sam and all the Yugioh gang have always known Neftis’ name, they just had no idea xP. (Imagine Sam’s annoyance when she learned THAT was Iris’ real name in the memory world arc haha). (btw I write Neftis to refer to my Oc and Nephthys for the phoenix or the Egyptian goddess so it’s easier to differenciate, but both are pronounced the same way xD)

“Welcome, Lamb,” Neftis says warmly. She leans forward, eyes on the golden scepter in their cloven hands. “I see you’ve held to our bargain. Wherever was Kallamar hiding it?” “Bottom of the ocean, where else?” Hamal says. They stand before Neftis without a trace of fear. Though the Lamb has continued to grow taller over the past few years, they’re still laughably small in comparison to an elder goddess like Neftis. They hold the scepter close. “I kept my word. Now give me what you promised.” Neftis sighs. “Yes, yes— bring it here.” A tail tip gestures lazily toward something amongst her tribute. One follower walks forward carrying a jar with a lid in the shape of a cat’s head. They offer it to Hamal, then slink back to their mistress’s side. Hamal frowns and holds the jar in one cloven hand. “What is this?”

Water, the flow, the womb, the origin of life, the element that is in constant movement and transformation. Water flows through our bodies and across the earth; we depend on it for life. As far back as we can remember, humans have been intimately connected with water, both physically and spiritually. According to the theory of evolution we emerged from aquatic sources and ancient creation stories from around the globe told us life on earth originated from waters. Ancient Civilizations around the globe built the first cities near water sources. Water is deep, receptive, and purifying, and represent both the life giver and the death bringer.
