It’s fitting that they are my two favorite characters considering they each fit into my two favorite archetypes which are:

Anxious and weak with an inferiority complex who makes up for their weakness with attentiveness

And

Pragmatic cold beauty who has done questionable things and doesn’t know how to love

Sound familiar?

Of course they’re both so much more than that, as are the rest of the characters I love who fit into those same roles, but I’m historically drawn to these types of characters because of how uncannily I see myself in them.
