Happy National Unicorn Day!

National Unicorn Day is celebrated on April 9th each year. In Celtic mythology, unicorns have always been known to be fiercely independent, famously difficult to capture and proud creatures.

All these royal coats of arms, some of which predate the union, show the unicorn in gold chains. Common speculation is that the unicorn in art represents chivalric virtues. In legend, only the worthy or pure of heart could capture and tame a wild unicorn. Therefore the chained unicorn around its neck, on the coat of arms represents the strength and untameable nature of unicorns, symbolising the power and virtue possessed by the Kings and Queens of Scots as they were strong enough to tame a unicorn.

The unicorn was the heraldic animal (or fursona to use the correct term) of Scottish monarchs for centuries. With the union between England and Scotland in 1707, which created the United Kingdom.

The unicorn has been the national symbol of Scotland for centuries. Often said to date to the reign of King William the Lion (1165–1214) although there’s no clear evidence of this. The unicorn seems to have become a heraldic symbol for Scottish kings in the 1500s probably during the reign of King James IV and certainly used by his son King James V.

Two unicorns remained on the royal seal until the 1603 Union of Crowns when King James VI of Scotland succeeded Queen Elizabeth I and became King of England too. As such he added the English lion to his coat of arms in place of one of the unicorns

The Indian National Flag

Auf unbedingtes vorheriges noch Erwärmen im Ofen des Fladens (mit Spinat und Frischkäse) wurde auch hier wieder seitens des Verkaufsangestellten eines Orientimbisses bestanden! (Kaufland bei Siegburg). Das fiel mit der Zeit doch sehr stark auch mir wieder auf! Gerade weil es alle regelmäßig so auch tun!

Es wird verbal immens dabei gedrängt und notfalls wird halt erneut darauf bestanden!!

Entweder ist dieser dann mit Butt-(vom)-Er zubereitet oder aber Frisch-Remoulade. to ram engl. : rammen dt. laden (das Gewehr). 'Ou, auah!'

Wir reden einfach weiter viel zu viel alle, geschickt nur um das Thema herum! Zu vieles Herumschnacken! Das muss enden - auch bei uns!
