A bunch of pin-ups of some of the FF’s biggest foes... I really like the Molecule Man double spread, and those Mignola works are amazing, especially the Annihilus one with the creepy skeleton.

Random Kang the Conqueror facts before the Ant Man movie. Kang the Conqueror aka Nathaniel Richards, Iron Lad, Rama-Tut(Egyptian god, moon knight related), Scarlet Centurion and Immortus (older Kang)
Kang the Conqueror is originally from the 31st century(earth-6311) while Ant Man is earth 616, so time traveller(all of u probably know that alr)
He already appeared in Loki, but the one in Loki is actually, as canon as comics can be. Immortus, Immortus is the older version of Kang, who has grown old of conquering.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
*probably* the descendant of Reed Richards, that noodle dude at Doctor Strange played by John Krasinki himself, Fantastic four member that has no bones, Mr Fantastic.
Already appeared in Fantastic four 2005, DSMOM and the 2015 one (let's be honest, no one watches the 2015 one, it was more flop than the 2005 one and it's cause I actually liked the 2005 one)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Reed is also said to be super super smart, so yeah. You guessed it. It's in the genes.
BUT
Kang is also rumored to have some sort of connection with Mr.Doom, haven't appeared on any movies yet but in the comics, he is the main antagonist of the Avengers and Fantastic Four.
Tumblr media
And since Kang is from way back at the future, his idol as a kid, obviously, is Mr Tony Stark. And as you all know, Tony Stark found the multiverse thing and Kang just continued his legacy(yes, he is that smart!)
Tumblr media
It's gone to the point where his other alias is actually Iron Lad. He has the role of iron man in the Young Avengers comic.
Tumblr media
So in general, Kang's a real smart guy, and this movie IS about Ant Man, our lovely Scott Lang. But multiverse is literally invented by Kang(found by Tony), and that's why he was at the statue at the Loki series, Immortus's(old Kang) masters are the Time Keepers themselves.
Tumblr media
There is so so much to unfold, I couldn't possibly fit it all in one blog. Idk if I'll do more but I think I've posted all the important things(and some bonus stuff as well) needed for the Ant Man.
Hopefully this covers our Kang knowledge before Ant Man, so we can be prepared!
(if you guys need any breakdowns for the other Kang variants, feel free to message me or comment. I've got knowledge now idk what to do with it)

Like okay listen
Nathaniel Richards, born in the late 1800s, getting that TVA handbook, becoming 'Victor Timely' because everyone needs a stage name (also dodging taxes if necessary), post Loki S2 he manages to hitch a ride to 31st century because wow future science is so dope (during which time he works through his speech impediment etc)
Then the whole Multiversal War thing happens, he tries to escape through time, ends up in Ancient Egypt with a busted spaceship, becomes Rama-Tut, that's the time during which he starts becoming forged into a proper warrior and tactician
Then he fixes his spaceship, goes all 'Fine I'll fight the war and fucking WIN IT--' becomes Kang, then [insert 60 years of Marvel Comics history]
and then he becomes He Who Remains
And then he does it all over again

So basically, the big war that Miss Minutes talked about in the first episode was Kang the Conqueror versus Immortus versus Iron Lad versus Rama-Tut versus Victor Timely versus Scarlet Centurion versus [insert Kang variant here].
Goddammit Kang, even in the MCU, your alternate timeline versions are fucking everything up.
Side note, the Loki creators are playing it really close to the comics version of Kang in terms of his backstory. Right down to his feud with Alioth. Well done.

There is a whole lot of “huh” going on here, implying that it was some alternate timne line Reed that went forward in time and helped lead Nathaniel towards going back in time to be Rama Tut and just... ugh... this is all for very Thomas and that is not a good thing...

The peace between realities... erupted into all-out war, each variant fighting to preserve their universe and annihilate the others.
He remembers the fire, the desperation, the aching in his muscles as he threw himself into the Time Sphere as everything crumbled around him. Nathaniel Richards was a scientist, not any of these 'Kang's that descended upon his world.
The explosion nearly blinded him as he punched in the coordinates, anywhere, anywhen was preferable to the carnage he was in.
And so, he fell, across time, across space; gone were the wonders of the 31st century, the advancements, the buildings that threatened to piece the sky; replaced instead with antiquity, the endless dunes of history.
He was weak, then, washed ashore on the banks of the Nile, possessing naught but his intellect and the torn clothes on his back. He would be found by some travelling merchants, whom he would travel the sands with; learn the ways of the times, the means of keeping himself from harm. He would not be known as Nathaniel, then, no. He would have a new name, one bestowed upon him by those who witnessed his arrival, wreathed in golden flame as he crashed upon the Nile.
The Visitor from Beyond the Sun.
Rama-Tut.
Perhaps Nathaniel Richards could not save himself; perhaps he was too weak, too innocent. Perhaps the fires of Egypt could forge him anew. Rama-Tut, rising up from the ashes of Nathaniel's lost future. If he could survive there, in those ancient times with only his wits and what little technology he still possessed, then he would be able to survive anything. He could repair his ship, travel back in time, get back what was taken from him.
Perhaps, one day, the conquered would become the conqueror.

Does anyone else’s brain hurt when they remember that Iron Lad, Rama-Tut, Kang the Conqueror, and Immortus are all the same person?
