"A life without love is of no account. Don’t ask yourself what kind of love you should seek, spiritual or material, divine or mundane, Eastern or Western. Divisions only lead to more divisions. Love has no labels, no definitions. It is what it is, pure and simple. Love is the water of life. And a lover is a soul of fire! The universe turns differently when fire loves water." --Shams Tabrizi
“Beltane” depicting the May Queen and the Horned God. by Natasa Ilincic
They cannot exist without each other. When the Horned God (the Winter aspect of the Green Man) sees the May Queen in her Maiden form, he realises that to be with the woman he loves he will need to undergo a huge change. As they process together around the hill, he prepares to surrender his life to her.

Cailleach by Natasa Ilincic
Mountains grew my bones, Cold streams carved my skin.
Sweet summer I devour, Harden her soft moss Under my frosted claws.
Wild beasts I rule, For they know my call When it thunders through the glen.

The one with art by Natasa Ilincic, or is there another one I haven't seen yet? 👀
Trying not to be jealous of certain personalities in the tarot world who have copies of The Witch's Garden Tarot early (for free).
It will be in my collection eventually, patience.

I am that I am, the flame / Hidden in the sacred ark. / I am the unspoken name / I the unbegotten spark. / I am He that ever goeth, / Being in myself the Way; / Known, that yet no mortal knoweth, / Shewn, that yet no mortal sheweth, / I, the child of night and day. / I am never-dying youth. / I am Love, and I am Truth. / I am the creating Word, I the author of the aeon…” "The Ship" Aleister Crowley LAM "The Way" Owl Witch Natasa Ilincic

The Owl Witch by Natasa Ilincic
As the Northern Hemisphere moves towards the dark half of the year and the coming of the Cailleach, it is interesting to note the various roles the owl plays in folklore. Very often considered a harbinger of death, this is not always the case, and, indeed, the death or ending of one way of life may be the beginning of another, so surface symbolism may belie a deeper meaning. ~ Circle Stories
