Out of curiosity, what do you think about an au where Sasuke’s mom actually did get to adopt Naruto and how do you think the uchiha massacre would go in that universe?

Oh boy I can think of a few ways this could go...

My favorite idea is Mikoto taking Naruto in, and he naturally becoming family. So Itachi could either spare only Sasuke and him, or run away with the two causing a whole new issue for the village that's now down a spy and a jinchuuriki, OR EVEN Naruto and Sasuke returning home to find everyone dead and Naruto loses control of the fox causing another huge disaster in the whole village.

I like this last one because the hokage and elders could use this as an excuse to hide the Uchiha massacre and say they all died because were the closest to Naruto when it happened - and also keep Naruto under even closer watch after this.

But Naruto and Sasuke would still know the "truth".

Or Naruto could become kind of an object for leverage between the clan and the village elders (aka Danzou). But imagine the Uchihas all protecting little Naruto, the nine tails boy, as their special little ball of power.

Danzou tries to pressure Fugaku into whatever and he goes "Nuh uh" because they have Naruto and Danzou probably knows the sharingan can control the bijuu. And the massacre doesn't have to happen - another disaster can still happen for trauma fuel  but the clan doesn't have to be killed by Itachi.

And also, if I were to add some touches of my own... Around the age when Sasuke starts training, Naruto too is practicing with him and Itachi, (so not too long before the massacre was to happen) then Mikoto and Fugaku realize that it would be hard for them to properly teach Naruto - they have their clan style and jutsu types that Naruto might not manage the same way Sasuke does.

So Mikoto takes into her hands to go find Jiraya! She leaves the village on official missions to investigate and search for the senin and bring him back. They could even arrive right at the last minute and stop Itachi (and Obito which coul be a whole thing to add).

Now that could stop the massacre and Danzou from the very start. It's a win-win: Naruto gets a family, Mikoto gets a big role, Jiraya arrives, takes one look at Hiruzen's current system and goes "Nope" and starts looking for a new Hokage right away (Shikaku? Fugaku? Jiraya himself while he trains Itachi to take the role in a few years? Maybe Danzou to make things messier for a bit?)

But the best thing is that Mikoto would 100% tell Naruto about his parents, and he would grow up knowing how loved he had always been and still is.

ZENITSU DOES NOT DISRESPECT WOMEN. This is my only pet peeve in the Demon Slayer fandom. It's the "Goku is a bad father" or "Naruto is stupid" all over again. Fillers and fandom jokes aren't proof. And we don't know if he's still like that when he married her. Also, Tanjiro gave Zenitsu his blessing to marry Nezuko, so these ideas of Tanjiro hating Zenitsu need to drop. Why I wish Goutouge would show the Kamaboko's adult lives on panel. I maybe bias because after reading and watching shounen and senin for years, there are characters who are way more misogynistic than Zenitsu.

Canon Nezuko is not as great as people make her out to be. The author made a giant mistake making her unable to talk or remember her human life like the other demons. And all of her character development is mostly through Tanjiro when turning her human. Aside her aesthetics, Nezuko is bland is comparison to the other characters.

Hello, welcome to what i'll turn into a series, what i'd change in this piece of media!

Today, we'll be talking about: The women(it'll be only Sakura and Hinata actually) of Naruto!

Ok. I like watching analyses videos of female characters of animes and realize HOW they aren't used to their full capability. Which brought me to the thought of: How they should've been written? How could we make this character a compelling and real part of the story?

Sakura and mostly Hinata, to me, were such missed opportunities. They had everything to be amazing.

Ok, i'll begin with Sakura, because im less passionate about her lol

Ok. Who is Sakura? What do we know of her?

Sakura is a short-tempered girl, child of civilians, is trained by one of the three Senins, is in love with Sasuke Uchiha, is one special kind of medic who can be in the front of battle, she has this inner conflict in which she doesn't want to be the weak link in her team, doesn't want to be left behind by Naruto and Sasuke. That is mostly it, i guess.

Ok. Sakura always were the annoying part of the team seven. Always crying, never getting to do something, gushing avout Sasuke and being so unprofessional to let this distract her from her duties and goals. Wait. Goals? What goals? Marry Sasuke? Agnh. The thing that annoyed me the most about Sakura is that in Naruto shippuden they kept hypping her up, how she trained and is strong and on pair with Naruto and Sasuke(im not even sure about this... Did this really had the audacity to lie to us like that??) and yet, whenever the anime had a chance to show us this statement, to say "hey, look! Sakura powerfull now! See?" nope. Sakura gets hurt or behind and the boys handle all the fun. She just heals people. (Though she can and should fight)

Sakura had many oportunities to grow and develope. Because thats just it. I wouldnt change her personality or something, just expand and give her meaningful arcs.

Ok. What i'd like to do with Sakura is turn her into a sensible and centered woman.

At the begining, id have Sakura as she is. It is ok to have this 12 naive and selfish year old. She grew up in a pretty loving and uneventful life. It is okay to have her to dismiss and mistreat Naruto and idolize Sasuke. Because she doesn't know any better.

Though, i would like to add the layer of her civilian parents to this.

Her main goal isn't to marry Sasuke (although it is her second), but to be a ninja, to fight for her village, for her parents. Having civillian parents makes her naive, she sees the duties of a ninja in a glorified view. She admires them, her senseis, the Hogakes. She wants to be just like them. She wants to be a kunoichi and she thinks all is easy. All is pretty and dignified.

That is until Zabuza. Her world view of ninjas breaks then and there.

It would occur much like the anime. She sees Naruto almost die alongside Sasuke. Being a ninja isn't noble, heroics and brave. It is terrifying, knowing you could die at anygiven mission. It frightens her. This is a thought that plagues her mind. But she shoves it deep down and studies and trains.

She knew ninjas could die and should give their lives in a mission. But there is a difference between knowing and truly realizing what that means.

She trains, until the chuning exam. There we would have our true turning point. Where she cuts her hair. And gets beaten and needs to be saved.

At first, she freezes. The thought of death just at her forefront, printed in red bolded letters, like blood.

But, as she realizes Sasuke and Naruto are down and she HAS to protect them, she comes to the realization.

"If i stand still here, they die."

But Sakura is pathetic, she isn't strong enough. She gets beat up. And as the terror downs on her that Naruto and Sasuke will die and it'll all be because she wasn't strong enough to protect them. She lies there completrly and utterly helpless. Vulnerable. Defeated. Close to dying.

She is saved and bla bla bla. But this is THE turning point to her. Not only does she want to be strong enough to stand toes on toes with Narusasu but she also wants to be capable of protecting them, to have them be able to relie on her.

So my girl trains. And kakashi fucking mentors her because oh my he is her sensei as well! Oh eme gee! What a surprise.

Also, she starts admiring Naruto and stop being awful to him. She builds a relantionship with him. And not only him.

With Sasuke as well. Do you know why Naruto and Sasuke are a more believing couple? Because they fucking interact with each other. Have meaningful interactions. They respect each other.

Sooo, i'd give Sakura and Sasuke alone time. Give them space and time to interact. Have meaningful and deep conversations. Understand and respect eachother.

He wouldn't find her annoying anymore, although he could still call her annoying playfully sometimes. And she would stop idolising him. She would realize he is a human like her. She would still admire him, but would see his flaws and come to terms that he isn't angel. Despite looking like one.

One major scene i'd like to change is the one Sakura yells for Naruto as the village is destroyed by Pain and all hope is gone.

This is only meant to anticipate Naruto's arrive, to make it badass. And it does. But at the cost of Sakura.

And it annoys me. Because ultimmatily what Sakura does while her village, her home is being destroyed is sit cry and call for Naruto. Just so he can have his epic entrance.

This scene just tells me Sakura hasnt evolved, hasnt developed. You are saying while all the people around you are helpless dying being attacked you fold and cry????? This could've been okay for a younger!Sakura, preShippuden!Sakura maybe. But now? No. It does not sit well with me.

Want to make Sakura have a badass moment while still giving Naruto his epic entrance? Simple.

I always think back to Captain america in Avengers ultimate. At the end (middle?) Of the movie, we see the heroes down. The only "standing" man is Steve Rogers. His shield broken in half. He is beaten up, limping. While Thanos' army is there, intact, thousands upon thousands. Against the "only remaing hero". There is no hope. He cant win this.

What does Steve does? He fastens his Shield to his arm and stand up, ready to face the incoming army. You know he cant defeat them, HE knows it. He's not gonna win, he's not gonna survive. But hes not gonna run either. He cant. He has to fight. To save his people or die trying.

Even if you are not a marvel fan, if you saw this scene and didn't get chills, damn. What were you watching?

Anyways. Back to Sakura. This could very well apply perfectly to her. She should've stood up to Pain. She knew she wouldn't be able to take all 6 of them down. But she would still do it. She would try to bring the most of them down with her. She had to do it. To take their attention from the village. From the civilians. Her friends. Her family.

So, as she starts the fight, it wouldn't take long for Naruto to join the fight as he appears in a smoke show and say something cheesy to Sakura. And alongside each other they would fight the pains together. They would be defeated. Hinata would confess die. Naruto loses his mind. Anime anime.

But i think it would be so fucking cool to see that scene for Sakura. And later for Naruto and Sakura. For their friendship. Like go team seven!

Also, her goal. I'd like to see miss girl Sakura being more ambicious. Having dreams of her own. That doesnt revolve around Sasuke or Naruto. Or anyone really.

I'd like for her to, post training with Tsunade, dream of building a clinic or train medical ninjas maybe both. It would be interesting thing to see. And it would add to her as a character.

I guess that's it. I will talk about hinata on part 2.

Alhamdulillah pertandingan gateball udah selesai kemarin, tim aku tanding sampai per-8 final dan tim fpips 1 jadi juara 3, yeaayyy ✨

Awal yang baik untuk cabang olahraga baru, semoga ke depannya bisa lebih baik lagi dan jadi juara 1 ngalahin timnya pa nunu dan a gani, wkwkw aamiin 😆

Tapi buat hari senin depan belum kebagian kaos pordoska euy jiahaha, yasudahlah pinjem dulu polo shirt punya bapa yang warna abu-abu 😂

Satu hal yang bikin pusing, ternyata lari keliling kampus sama senam aerobik dijadwalkan di hari yang sama, cuma beda 20 menit. Wadidaw gimana ini, harus pake jurus seribu bayangannya Naruto 😫🥲

Biarinlah gimana nanti weh, lieur 😂 kalo bisa mah senam aja ga usah lari, hahaha..

Refleksi 1909

Spending the evening sambil mewek di kamar. Low mood kayanya gegara seharian hectic dan senggol bacok. Ga ada yang jadi korban dibacok atau diamuk sih alhamdulillah. Masih bisa ngerjain 4 surat, perintilan pengmas (tolong udahan aja lah aku Senin mau kabur bodoamat sama segala formality ini), masih sempet hahahihi di kelas, bimbingan (akhirnya yang 1 ngilang udah nongol lagi. Oh ternyata karena doi sakit).

Sesiangan dibombardir PJAL slash kating jaman SMA kenapa entryan baru dikit (ya Pak saya kalau bisa membelah diri pengennya jadi amoeba aja Pak atau jadi naruto. Wkwk. Tapi inget diskusi sama Aulia terus aku tarik nafas aja yang panjang).

Lambungku kuat dibombardir 2 gelas kopi (yuhu rekor). Biasanya 1,5 gelas udah dagdigdug, jadi seringnya nyisa. Sorenya karena kepanasan (padahal paginya ujan looooh), gue ngajak Jengmay my partner in crime untuk beli es krim. Baliknya di kamar lah udah tumpah - tumpah yang ditahan seharian.

Chat Yaya mengajak diskusi hal - hal yang sama. Dari 2021 sampai sekarang. Chat Rivqi juga random. Untung komti gue baek hatinya wkwk. Di saat seperti ini gue pengen numpahin semuanya tapi gue sadar diri temen-temen gue adalah manusia beranak dua dan berpasangan. Jadi curhat seperlunya aja. Sekuatnya ditahan, klo ga kuat ya udah nangis aja.

Beberapa bahasan gue sama Yaya masih sama. Jawabannya udah bisa ketebak. Cuma kadang gue butuh validasi aja, comfort word yang intonasi nyampeinnya itu pasnya ya dari Yaya. Untuk kondisi low mood, low glucose kek sekarang.

Kalau butuh tamparan kenyataan gue akan ke Tehdin sih (wkwk). Yang bakalan brutally honest jawab semua keluhan gue. Tapi doi kadang nyampein hal yang zuzur dengan tutur kata yang lembut, jadi gagal ketampar kan gue wk.

Abis ini akan bekerja dengan mendengarkan sleeping at last - You're enough 1 hour loops sampe bosan. Kalau bisa sampai besok gue tidak pakai earphone itu lagu masih kedengaran di memori gue hahaha.

Salah satu penguat untuk menjalani hari ini adalah

Kira-kira orang yang bisa punya jabatan tinggi itu apa ya yang membuat mereka survive di tengah segala macam badai, hujan tornado? Gue gak tertarik sama jabatan sama sekali, cuma wondering aja mindset sekuat apa yang mereka punya. Is it greed or the power to learn and facing everything that comes through your life?

Pembelajaran macam apa yang akan gue dapatkan ketika bisa melalui ujian ini? Akan seperti apa diri gue yang besok, lusa atau tahun depan? Is it the same manusia awkward yang kalau diliatin orang banyak tapi suka belajar banyak hal or the same person but better at public speaking and dealing with many things? (Sebenarnya gue tidak suka multitasking, I love single tasking).

Apakah gue punya keberanian untuk menyeberang ke sungai yang tidak dipilih banyak orang? Instead of mengikuti alurnya, somehow gue pengen deviate.

The willingness to stand on my own feet and my own opinion. Udah berasa sih sepinya (dari jauh ada backsoud suara angin di padang tandus, langit malam yang gelap).

The willingness to do the best (despite mongamuk, monangis, mongeluh tapi gak jadi). Karena kata Aul "Ini kan hasil doa-doa kita. Kenapa kita ngeluh pas udah dikasih?"

3 favorite canon moments:

Naruto returning to fight Pain, like I remember it being the last scene of the episode, and Naruto appears, cape on, senin-mode on, on top of Gamabunta, after being gone for SO long and having us wait for idk how many episodes for him to come and fight Pain and I just got the biggest chills of my life seeing him appear on that battlefield

Itachi dying, because it's so sad yet so iconic; and this is Kishimoto's genius bc the first time I watched Itachi die I was so happy it'd finally happened, and then like 2 episodes later I wanted to rip my heart out of my chest thinking of that scene. Kishimoto had us fully hate a character then WORSHIP him in the blink of an eye I just-

Kakashi dying, even tho it was only for a little while and he came back, that death WRECKED me, I remember pulling an all nighter because I just kept wanting to know what was gonna happen but I couldn't finish the arc that night so I finished it at my best friend's the next day and it was like standing underneath waterfall of emotions seeing him die and come back in the span of 12 hours

I don't really have headcanons (?), But I do think Naruto's chakra smells like ramen probably. I just made this up idk seems legit

3 things I hate about it :

Kaguya. Now I know that the production was complicated and Kishimoto needed to retire bc he'd been burning out for what, 20years? So the ending was rushed and stuff, and I still love Naruto to death, but Kaguya represents the trope I hate the most ever I think. It's the "bigger badder older" trope where as the story goes on, you discover that oop there's actually a bigger and older villain, and then another..etc, and I hate this because there's no build-up, and no NUANCE whatsoever with the storytelling. Itachi's story is magnificent bc there's so much complexity and greyness surrounding it, he had to save the world but it was strategically thought-out and carefully built, whereas that whole last arc was like "quick! Gotta save the world bc this bigger older badder alien villain wants to destroy it!" man eat a dick

The war. It was bound to happen, there had to be a Shinobi war and I'm not fully hating on that arc, but it was a long arc. I think it was well managed tho, there were some moments of reprieve like Edo tensei Itachi fighting off Kabuto, and Kabuto's backstory episodes, and the Hokages returning, etc. But still, it felt convoluted at times and the fact that a WAR happened and only Neji died (I swear I love Neji okay I cried) was so disappointing to me. I know it's a shonen, but seriously characters need to be killed off or else there are no stakes. I was barely afraid for any of the characters bc I knew no one would die. I think this is a problem not only in Naruto but in so much of the storytelling surrounding us. Just kill off characters guys it's great, look at George RR Martin, I'm sure he has a masterclass on the many many creative ways there are to kill people

Boruto. Need I say more? I know it's not technically part of Naruto, but it's canon in the Naruto universe so. Yeah. Boruto. Big nono.
