Nothing about Marshals or Generals uniforms I believe, but I know where to look at..

The whole ordeal took two months. Would take more if I decided to go for historical accuracy (but I know how to do it now!)

First part of Emperor Napoleon V of Francesim's uniforms. They were inspired by the two previous French empires. This uniform was worn for many imperial ceremonies, the most famous being the Emperor's wedding.

There’s a bit of a comedic story involving a Prussian diplomat during the War of the Third Coalition, Prussia being one of the main boss enemies during the early revolution was dragging its feet to declare war this time. Finally about to do it, the diplomat arrives just in time to hear the result of the battle of Austerlitz, and instead congratulates the French.

Queen Louise being one of Napoleon’s biggest haters on the continent is another funny little quirk about the Prussians.

As for their uniforms? The reference book really only covered the later army, but you can get a feel of the military practicality present. Overcoats, blankets, blues and grays, the Russo-German legion was dripped out a bit. The cavalry wasn’t too bad either.

i'm watching an episode of this old BBC tv series of Napoleon and omfg there's this scene of Junot (and his only scene it seems like) holding a bottle of wine and has him saying lines like :

"Turkey... Big fat BEAUTIFUL girls!"

"Good, I like trouble. Same as you." and proceeds to drink the bottle of wine lol

Napoleon's General outfit is definitely my favourite of all the Napoleonic uniforms.

My wannabe Napoleonic uniform for the Larp update: the collar is done and fits! At this point it’s stitched on the coat. Time to move to the sleeves. I think I will manage to embroider the sleeve cuffs as well.

I will write a bit more about it eventually, but I’m too dead to do it now.

This is not for reenactment purposes so it’s a quite low cost project.
