I think Ace having feelings for Nancy since high school makes so much sense especially with how he felt inadequate for so long. She was on his radar but he wasn’t on hers. She was the popular girl in school. She was going places, everything he wasn’t.

So ofc Ace never even thought he had a chance to be with someone like Nancy Drew. It’s why he tells her in s3 he’s no longer lacking because he started at a place where Nancy was unreachable.

Watching Nace kiss and that montage made me so soft and nostalgic tho because it sent me back to s1 as a little baby nace shipper with a pipe dream.

I love the co-dad situation in ‘Nancy Drew’ (tv) with Ryan & Carson, even though they’re not together. We never get two dads in media.

One thing I really want to see in season 4 is more on the other side of Bess' family or her dad.

Like obviously you can drop your family if they're shitty, no question, but all we know about that side is that she comes from Tower Hamlets (which has the highest proportion of Muslims in the UK) and Turani as a surname is Iranian (and Madison is British-Iranian).

It just strikes me as off that they had her reject that and run for the waspy Marvins, even if her Mum kicked her out, and I want more depth please thank you. Are her parents still together? Was Bess raised Muslim? Does she relate to her Iranian heritage? Does her dad?

(Is the CW the best network to discuss class and culture in East London? No probably not but they've done pretty well with race and sexuality before so we could give them a shot).
