Chronotopia Update - Build 1.05

Hello everyone, we hope you’ve been enjoying Chronotopia’s story so far! Ever since release, we’ve been gradually fixing issues so we advise updating your version of the game. Here’s a summary:

One reviewer noted a lack of content warnings despite the game’s heavy subject matters. Since this is an oversight on our part, we added a warning with this update. Upon launching the game for the first time, the warning will stay on-screen until the player takes action to ensure it will be less likely to be accidentally skipped. A detailed list is also available on this page (be aware that it contains spoilers for the full game).

One player reported to us that the Archivist achievement would not trigger, preventing 100% completion. We applied a solution that had an unexpected side effect. Some players would randomly unlock the achievement without even completing the Archives or opening said menu. So we hurried to find another solution. The issue should be solved now.

After a player pointed out to us that there was no room for mistake to trigger the Fleur’s Goodwill achievement, we’ve decided to lower the requirements by one point.

We fixed some typos that have been reported to us or that we noticed during Youtube/Twitch playthroughs.

We changed the names of several backers in the credits, as per their request.

We also fixed a couple of minor bugs:

The farm minigame would sometimes not be skipped on a second playthrough (exposing why it was restricted in the first place).

If the player skipped dialogues fast enough, unnamed music tracks would appear in the "Currently Playing" pop-up, crashing the game.

In one scene of the demo, Kionna’s sprite would appear on top of Nahima’s instead of the wanted position.

In some cases, only one variation of the Dead End  would trigger (the one appearing in the Buried Alive scene), creating confusion as to Nahima’s fate.

Thank you again for the lovely Steam reviews and the support ❤️. We would almost be hitting 10 reviews by now if press keys/developer keys counted but, unfortunately, they don’t. Steam rules are impenetrable sometimes.

That being said, don’t hesitate to report bugs & typos directly to us so we can fix those in the next updates!

Aquiles y sus visiones. (PARTE 3)

Pasado el tiempo de aquel combate, Aquiles sintió un cansancio que nunca había experimentado a pesar de todo su esfuerzo en los ejercicios diarias que realizaba.

Un cansancio emocional, espiritual y f��sico envolvía al joven guerrero. Poco a poco notaba como la reliquia absorbía energía de el mismo.

Pasada la tarde caía la noche, ambos hermanos en casa, todo estabas a obscuras, Everett siempre solía a encender las luces con un hechizo, cuarto por cuarto de su hogar. Cuando intentó encender el cuarto donde estaba Aquiles este hechizo no funcionó, como si un campo de anti-magia se tratase. Aquiles analizó su combate por largas horas, y solo faltó un poco de magia para darse cuenta de que el poder que le otorgaba la reliquia era el poder de anular la magia. Que casualidad del destino donde una sociedad se rige por hechizos y polvos raros.

Poco a poco Aquiles iba atando cabos sueltos y todo iba teniendo una lógica y sentido, pero lo único que el muchacho no comprendía es el ente burlón que aquella media noche pudo observar.

Cuando el intentaba descansar, visiones llegaron a su cabeza, y voces extrañas sobre su madre, una voz distorsionada, diciéndole: sé fuerte, eres el único que puede lograrlo, te amo hijo.

Despertó de aquel sueño en un cuarto oscuro, sin paredes, una oscuridad mas negra que la misma noche, pero unos ojos se podían observar al fondo, una voz maligna que desprendía miedo y odio a la vez, decía: ¿Tu maldito niño, ¿quién eres? ohh ya veo, el bastardo de Nahima, HAHAHA, así que la muy cobarde ¿no pudo soportar todo este poder?, dudo que tu lo soportes crio, nos veremos más tarde.

Aquiles llegando a su nuevo grupo de guerreros se sentía extraño, como si algo lo poseyera. Pero Aquiles sonrió y lo dejo pasar, despreocupado como siempre conoció a su primer compañero de decencia árabe al cual le llamaban El fuego del desierto. Con el cual con solo cruzar miradas surgió un sentimiento de rivalidad, pero también un sentimiento que posiblemente podrían llegar a crear una gran amistad. Ambos hicieron una competencia de ver quien llegaba más rápido a la casa, en realidad parecían patos patojos corriendo, pero la competencia fue graciosa. Eso ayudó a Aquiles a distraerse un poco. Llegando al grupo de guerreros hicieron una reunión y una gran cena con comida, bebidas y fiesta donde recibieron a Aquiles, y todo volvía a hacer un poco más normal, donde el se sentía a gusto y donde creo otro enlace, una segunda familia. Así comenzó el camino de este joven que a pesar de todas las adversidades nunca se dio por vencido, y a pesar de poseer poderes desconocidos eso no lo detuvo en su sueño de ser el hechicero mas grande que en la tierra se ha conocido, y como dicen los dichos donde hay mal, hay bien y donde hay bien, hay mal.

Time to dream!

After a considerable amount of time, I have "officially" finished and decided to share my Dream Addresses...for both New Leaf and New Horizons!!!

Technically, my ACNH island has been finished for awhile, but spontaneous goals stopped me from sharing (e.g. wanting to add some Gyroids to adding them all, wanting to finish my collection of K.K. Slider music to deciding which songs I enjoyed and and wanted to put in areas, etc). I actually wanted to hold off until I taught myself how to gif and create a whole little showcase for my beloved island but alas...it's waited enough and I know it would only wait longer otherwise. It's time to make the leap!

As for my ACNL town, a streamer I enjoy has been doing an AC marathon and doing ACNL tours as a result. Wanting to enter my funky little town and see it enjoyed pushed me to revisit and just top my creations off. I put a lot of work into my ACNL town, and it's intriguing and fun to see how aesthetics and...design philosophies have been shared between it and my ACNH island.

Anyways, my Dream Addresses are below! If anyone visits...yay! I'd love to hear any thoughts about what people enjoyed and/or found interesting. But first and foremost, I hope visitors have a wonderful time! Take care and have pleasant dreams~!

She's trapped in the city. THE DEVIL GUY GOT YOUR SON ???? People come back from the dead regularly. There's a guy who MIGHT be THE ACTUAL DEVIL. The city's infrastructure is falling apart. THE DEVIL ???? People are turning to extremism. Your husband is being USELESS. There's now a bunch of those idiot wizards in stupid costumes fighting possessed people. Your son who got possessed is skipping class a LOT ! WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON ???
