A Future Shaped by Many Hands

Chapter 1 “...hot baths during cold, rainy days…”

and Chapter 2 “I guess I never noticed the stars.”

This story is about an Eliksni Vandal named Keraasix and the first Eliksni Guardian, Nahcurii. Keraasix, nearly killed on Titan by his disgusted Captain who shot him in the gut and left him for dead, survived for over a decade there, and after what felt like a lifetime of pain, trauma, and even being cursed by a vengeful hive witch, he was finally able to escape the impending threat of the darkness, by playing stowaway on an eliksni's ketch and making it to earth where he has been living for several years. Alone out in the wilds of earth, this eliksni survivor has made a comfortable life for himself, although has been wary of everyone else, having only seen the worst of not only his own race, but other's and it left him paranoid and forced into a self-made isolation.

Our story starts as Keraasix's solitary life is about to be flipped upside-down when he meets a most disarming new friend, the Guardian Nahcurii, who it turns out is very near her Season and invites him to join her for it.

While Nahcurii had gone out there to find some broken Vanguard Beacons and escape her own traumas and fears regarding her past, what she found out in the forests was so much more then she could have ever bargained for.

Notes:

This is an AU on two different levels. The first is that this timeline supposes that my OC, Eliksni Master Healer Nahcurii, has died and been returned by her ghost Flower as a guardian. The second is that is also an AU of a story that I'm writing with my friend's OC Keraasix. In the original /he/ is the one who finds her and the two are just as much dopey and in love as they are in this one. I guess no matter what universe these two always fall in love ^^..^^ I already have most of this written, so I will post the 8 or so chapters I have over the next few days/weeks an update after that as I write it.

If the other person is going to use their characters' trans-ness to garner points, it's only fair to point out that I headcannon eliksni (the race of my oc) as being Hermaphrodites. In this case, she is female identifying but possesses both sets of genitals.

She/her

She is a gentle Eliksni healer from the Destiny 2 universe. Unlike others of her race she had chosen empathy and compassion through her craft. Instead of being a warrior and fighter, she had chosen to embrace a gentler way of ending conflicts she finds herself in.

She is pigmentless and so her skin is alabaster. Her chitin plates along with her hair are a creamy yellow/white, and her eyes are pink. She rarely wears armor and mostly wears simple clothes in line with her race. Although she enjoys dabbling in human fashion now that she lives with House of Light within the Last City.

Did I just spend the better part of 12 hours doing the outline for a Nahcurii x Misraaks piece? Yes. Yes, I did. Listen we all deal with stress differently and I am currently at about 10000000% stressed out by this coming expansion for destiny 2. P.s. this is for a little fic that I did of them because if I don't get it out now IF THEY KILL HIM I'LL NEVER DO IT OUT OF THE SADGE Once this is colored and whatever I'll post both. Lucky for all of you I have a deadline, because come next week I'm gonna be a ghost... you know, more then normal lol Anyway, enjoy my stress creativity xD

Misraaks (Mithrax) and Nahcurii <3

IT. IS. DONE. Damn... This entire project has been herculean @.@ But the Art is done, so I'm gonna post that, and then I'm gonna post the art + the fic as soon as it's put up on Ao3 Woo! It seems so dumb now, but this actually has taken a LOT of time to do. And I'm actually super proud of how it came out <3

Mending Our Past, Splicing Our Future: A Brief Snapshot of an Eliksni Healer and The Kell of Light's Courtship

------------------------------------------- Master Healer Nahcurii prepares to ask Misraaks (Mithrax), the Kell of House Light to officially start their courtship. Things heat up when he rejects her offer, sending her into confusion and uncertainty.

Nahcurii is then slowly able to pull the truth of Misraaks' rejection from him: He is tainted by Darkness after the ritual to bring back Saint-14's lover, Osiris.

One thing leads to another and, after a heartfelt plea for her heart, Misraaks confesses that he while he does want to be with her, he is also afraid of hurting her. She is able to explain herself, that she *is* strong enough to handle anything he (or the darkness has for her) and the two kiss and start to do more.... but it fades to black.

Okay, first off this is a labor of love and has been a LONG time in the making. Nahcurii and Misraaks are both my comfort characters and Bungie is threatening my space crab husbondo. And I know that if he bites the big one and I HAVEN'T written this, I never will.

So I wrote it.. and then I made the end in to a picture because I have no chill.

Okay, I think this is as finished as it's gonna be. Added the background/border. and I don't love it, but it'll do. This is my first time free-handing a semi-symmetrical border in that style. So, given that, I think it came out pretty good.

My first foray into animation!

In all honesty, it's only 12 frames, but I'm actually pretty proud of how it came out.

And it's an eliksni!

I'll have to think about another eliksni thing I can make into an animation. I don't have the expanded animation clip studio so I have to do them in these short pieces. But also animating in small chunks seems more manageable, so it's not so bad.

I think I still want to work on this, maybe add a border that she's walking out of. I don't know. For now, I just wanted to share it, because I really liked how it was coming out. For those who might be interested, I've taken 4 levels of Bard of Eloquence and will dip HEAVILY into a Cleric of Peace going forward. Because I am absolutely a min-maxer. I just do it for RP and support, not for damage xD Enjoy the cute alien all dressed up in fantasy clothes xD
