My Most Petty Pet Peeve
Someone: Sou/Shin is the Nagito or Kokichi of YTTD
Me, trembling with anger: How the fuck dare you compare him to them???
#LISTEN#WE DO NOT KNOW WHAT KIND OF PERSON SHIN TSUKIMI WAS#HE LITERALLY THREW HIMSELF AWAY BECAUSE HE LITERALLY COULD NOT SURVIVE AS HE WAS#FOR ALL WE KNOW SHIN TSUKIMI WAS GENUINELY A WONDERFUL PERSON BUT WE WILL NEVER KNOW THAT#BECAUSE WE WILL NEVER KNOW SHIN TSUKIMI BEFORE HE SAW THAT 0%#HE IS ACTING LIKE A DICKHEAD BUT HE IS DOING IT BECAUSE HE LITERALLY CANNOT SURVIVE BY ACTING AS HE NATURALLY WOULD#AND HE GENUINELY TRIES TO MAKE SURE EVERYBODY GETS OUT ALIVE WHEN THEY THINK THEY HAVE A CHANCE#BY FUCKING CONTRAST#Nagito and Kokichi are purposefully disruptive for no reason#they are just dickheads#So don't you fucking dare compare them to Sou/Shin he is so much cooler#And way more interesting especially in his relationship to the other characters#comaring hehe liar guy or haha hope cultist lucky man#with the guy who literally is incapable of surviving as he naturally is and therefore chose to act in ways he normally wouldn't#because even if that's not a great chance it's gotta be better than LITERALLY 0%#they are not comparable#they are not the same#it's my pettiest pet peeve by far because I don't even love Danganronpa or YTTD#I like both of them but I'm not in love with either like I am with Hollow Knight or clinging onto it for stability like I am with Geshin atm#But for some reason I super fucking hate it when Sou/Shin is compared to Nagito or Kokichi because he is so much better than both of them#this is all lighthearted because again I don't love either property#and I'll never actually get this mad over something that realistically isn't an unreasonable comparison#but at the same time I am being genuine with how much it annoys me for some reasons#Sou Hiyori#Shin Tsukimi#Shin Tsumiki#I forget how to spell lmao#I am tagging them because I am praising their writing and role in the story
