MARTIN DE PORRES KID'S HOME, dati kasi nung college ako o kahit nung bata pa talaga ako dami naman talaga mga homeless yung kakain ako sa Jollibee tapos may mga matatanda bata na manlilimos kaya sinabi ko dati na pag ako yumaman talagang tutulong ako sa mga nangangailangan, pero hindi pa ako mayaman at natutunan ko kahit di ako mayaman basta kung ano yung meron at labis na meron ako ay dapat ipamahagi sa iba, pag maganda rin yung iba namin naaani sa bukid kung ano meron sa amin kumukuha ako para ibigay sa nangangailangan.

Am I the only one who loves the way Meliodas talks?

Like, how he says a word with two syllables thrice and stretching the first syllable of the last word.

More specifically, him saying "sate sate saaate", "hm hm hmmm/fumu fumu fuuumu" and on one occasion, "nani nani naaani".

And also how he said "nnn~iya" instead of just "iya" when King asked if he got his power back in the druid cave.

I don't know why, but I just find myself really loving the way he not only looks like a twelve year old, but also talks like one. Like, you could actually mistake him for someone who is 12 and not 3,000+ if he never used his demon mark or got serious in front of you and I love it.

Also, notice how he never talks like this when he uses his demon mark/assault mode. This implies that he didn't act like this when he was still with the demon clan.

Instead of getting more mature as he grew older he became more immature. God damnit, I love this guy. This is why he's best boy.

...and then you watch the dub and realise they didn't include this (or at least not translating sate sate sate as well, well, well). What the fuck, Netflix.

Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction: A Walk Down San Agustin Norte, Agoo, La Union (part 1)

Ang San Agustin Norte ay matatagpuan sa Agoo, La Union. Ito ay nabibilang sa Region 1: Ilocos.

Kahit sa Metro Manila ako naninirahan tuwing pasukan, hindi ko maikakaila na sa San Agustin Norte talaga ang aking tunay na tahanan. Naatasan ang aming klase sa NSTP na gumawa ng isang community walk sa aming residensyal na lugar. Nararapat din daw na kami ay makipag-ugnay sa aming mga barangay ukol sa mga impormasyong may koneksyon sa Disaster Risk Reduction.

Dahil dito ay agad akong umuwi ng La Union pagkatapos ng aming final examinations sapagkat nais kong ako mismo ang makipag-ugnay at makipag-usap sa aming mga barangay officials.

Una, bumisita muna ako sa opisina ng barangay at humingi ng oras upang makausap sila. Mabuti na lamang at bakasyon na kung kaya’t mabilis lamang akong nakapag-appointment sa kanila. Nang mismong araw din na iyon ay naisagawa ko ang “Kwentuhan” kasama ang isang opisyal ng barangay.

Narito ang iilang mga larawan na nakuha ko sa loob at labas ng barangay bago pa ang nasabing Kwentuhan.

Ang opisyal ng Barangay na aking nakausap ay si Mr. Haisiah Galvez. Siya ang naturang treasurer ng barangay. Kahit siya ay treasurer ay nagulat parin ako na kinaya niyang sagutin ang mga katanungan ko ukol sa Disaster Risk Reduction. Ito ay dahil daw sentralisado silang bayan at ang mga bagay tungkol sa DRRM ay alam ng lahat.

Ang una kong natanong ay ang tungkol sa Community Map ng Barangay. Agad naman itong ipinakita sa akin ni Mr. Galvez. Ako ay labis na natuwa nang makitang ang community map pala ng barangay ay makikita agad pagkapasok palang ng Barangay.

Sunod ay ginamit ko ang mga gabay na tanong mula sa aming guro sa NSTP. Ang unang parte ay tungkol sa Hazard Identification.

Kinuwentuhan niya ako tungkol sa mga naranasang kalamidad ng lugar. Nabanggit niya na nakaranas na ang bayan ng malalakas na bagyo. Lagi raw binabagyo ang Agoo at isa raw sa pinaka hindi nila malilimutan ay noong bumagyo nang malakas at talagang may kasama pa itong malalakas na hangin. Nagliparan daw ang kanilang mga bubong, natumba ang mga puno, at bumaha nang matindi sa paligid ng bayan. Ang isa pang kalamidad ay ang lindol noong 1996 na tumama sa bayan— kung saan Baguio ang sentro. Labis daw na naapektuhan ang buong Pilipinas lalo na ang Rehiyong Ilocos. Sa ngayon daw, iyon lamang ang mga sakuna na talagang tumatak sa nasabing lugar. Ito raw ay bibihira lamang nangyayari at nagpapasalamat sila dahil doon.

Sunod ay tinanong ko naman siya tungkol sa Vulnerability, Elements and People at Risk Assessment, sinagot niya ako na labis na vulnerable daw ang mga lugar na malapit sa mga sakahan at taniman dahil wala itong proteksyon laban sa mga malalakas na hangin dahil nga ito ay purong kapatagan. Tunay daw na ang mga magsasaka ang siyang labis na naaapektuhan at napipinsala kapag may mga sakuna. Ang kanilang mga tinanim daw ay naaapektuhan at hindi na naaani dahil sa pinsala ng mga bagyo.

Dalawa lamang daw ang mga mapapanganib na lugar sa bayan: ang mga nasa tabing-dagat at mga nasa ibaba ng bundok. Ang mga nasa tabing-dagat daw ay maaaring maapektuhan ng tsunami, samantalang ang mga nasa ibaba ng bundok ay maaaring maapektuhan ng landslide.

Binanggit ni Mr. Haisiah ang iilan sa mga ligtas na lugar sa bayan. Ang sabi niya ay mayroon daw silang sports center sa plaza (sentro ng bayan). Ito raw talagang matibay at malawak. Dito ay maaaring tumakbo at pumunta ang mg kababayan kung sakali mang may mangyaring sakuna. Bukod pa rito, sa paligid ng barangay ay marami raw silang mga evacuation centers kung tawagin na siyang maaaring puntahan ng kung sino mang nangangailangan.

Nang siya ay tinanong ko tungkol sa mga hadlang sa kanilang kaunlaran, nabanggit niya na kulang daw sa pagkakaisa ang mga mamamayan dito lalo na ang mga mayayaman. Hindi na raw sila nakikisama sa mga aktibidad tungkol sa DRRM dahil pakiramdam nila ay ligtas na sila sapagkat mayroon silang mga konkreto at matitibay na natutuluyan. Dahil dito, ang mga mahihirap na lamang ang nagbabayanihan upang mapabuti at maging mas ligtas ang buong barangay.
