I would give this advice to any young actress. The same advice I've given to my daughters. Don't turn your femininity, your youth, your sexuality into a commodity. It has a shelf life. Instead, get an education, learn your craft, cultivate your intellect, travel to far away places, deepen your life experiences. It is in the end, the richness of your being that you bring on stage or in front of a camera.

MODERATOR: Thelma Adams
The Creative Industry has been radically transformed in the last several years due to the pandemic, economic turmoil, advances in digital technology, and production efficiencies.
Yet, creators of content, writers, actors, and many others that are instrumental to media development are still struggling to ensure economic sustainability.
To date, over 11,000 writers and 150,000 members of SAG AFTRA have taken up protest to be heard and galvanize change.
Come hear as the experts and those on the front lines, union members from Writers Guild of America East (WGAE), and Screen Actors Guild/ Aftra, discuss what has been done to update contracts that no longer serve current working conditions, and a critical look at what the public can do to support their efforts.

Thanks so much to all who came out to see @seekingsublet on the big screen over the weekend for our #OregonPremiere as an Official Selection of the 2018 Portland Comedy Film Festival! Watching new comedy web series + films from all over the world while also eating freshly made kettlecorn + playing skee-ball between screenings is definitely our idea of a perfect evening. Thanks, Portland!
