Find More Birds when you visit the playground! In water playgrounds, birds are drawn to puddles that form from spray jets & splash pads. The same thing happens in a regular playground after a rainfall or a nearby sprinkler session. This is a Mourning Dove staying hydrated in a Brooklyn water playground.

It’s my understanding that requests take a few growing seasons/years and with Eric Adams shafting Parks, who knows how long that will actually be but hey, the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago and the second best time to plant a tree is when the forestry department finally processes your request!
