NVIDIA’s Strategic Move: Unveiling New AI Chips Tailored for the Chinese Market
In response to the ever-evolving landscape of international trade restrictions, NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) has reportedly developed three groundbreaking artificial intelligence (AI) chips specifically crafted for the discerning Chinese market. This strategic move comes amid growing geopolitical tensions and heightened trade restrictions imposed by the U.S. government.
Tumblr media
Charting New Horizons:
The three high-end AI chips, known as Nvidia HGX H20, Nvidia L20 PCIe, and Nvidia L2 PCIe, are poised to make a significant impact in the realm of AI applications. Designed with precision and ingenuity, these chips represent NVIDIA’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions tailored to the unique needs of the Chinese market. Leaked documents and insights from industry insiders suggest that an official announcement regarding the release of these chips could be imminent, potentially as early as next week.
The U.S. government’s export restrictions have significantly impacted NVIDIA’s operations in China over the past year. These restrictions, aimed at curbing the export of advanced technologies that could enhance China’s military capabilities, have limited the sale of specific AI chips, including gaming chips like the popular RTX 4090. The geopolitical landscape has prompted NVIDIA to reevaluate its business operations in countries under export restriction lists, potentially affecting its ability to support existing customers and complete product development in a timely manner.
A Glimpse into the Future: NVIDIA’s Response to Evolving Restrictions
In response to the shifting landscape of trade restrictions, NVIDIA has strategically ceased the shipment of high-performance GPUs, including models like Nvidia H100, A100, and their 800 variants, to countries like China. The updated rules now focus on limiting the utilization of powerful accelerators for specific tasks, particularly in machine learning and potential military applications. The export ban also extends to data-center GPUs and gaming cards like RTX 4090, impacting NVIDIA’s business operations.
However, NVIDIA is not one to be deterred. The company has introduced a fresh series of data-center GPUs designed to comply with the new restrictions. The HGX H20 and L20 series, now officially available to Chinese customers, feature reduced compute power compared to their predecessors. The H20 GPU, for instance, boasts 96GB of HBM3 memory with a memory bandwidth of 4.0 TB/s, surpassing the ‘global’ H100. The L20 GPU, based on an AD102 GPU, is equipped with 48GB of GDDR6 memory. These intentional limitations in compute capabilities ensure adherence to the new regulations while maintaining the integrity of NVIDIA’s technological prowess.
Tumblr media
Reports indicate that NVIDIA has initiated chip sampling to partners, with orders set to commence from November 16th, coinciding with the full implementation of U.S. restrictions. NVIDIA anticipates the first shipment to take place in December.
In the face of evolving trade dynamics and geopolitical challenges, NVIDIA remains agile and forward-thinking. The introduction of these new data-center GPUs not only showcases the company’s adaptability but also reinforces its commitment to providing cutting-edge solutions in the field of artificial intelligence. As the global technology landscape continues to evolve, NVIDIA’s strategic moves position the company as a key player in navigating complexities and delivering innovation.

I apologise for anyone not expecting to see these two games crossover but I can't stop the brainrot.
Also, somebody take Photoshop and VIDU away from me, please.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It is initially a CRACK ship I created for the giggles but I'm getting non-stop brain rot of these two worlds colliding. Like, ancient magic and EVOL in combat. How awesome and cool the combos could have been? Plus, it's magic meeting Sci-fi. Being from the 1890's Scotland, Mildred is so gonna love the 2048's fashion and makeup. Also, the addictive claw machine. She gonna have fun resisting to magic her way winning the plushies.
The brainrot, dude. The fucking brainrot. I can't. This ain't a joke no more. ✋🏻😫
Tumblr media Tumblr media
No, but for reals, why do I only get cursed results on VIDU for Mildred X Ominis, but she gets decent ones with literally any other guys? Sylus is literally from a completely different game, platform, time AND genre but the results look far more decent than Ominis'. 😩😩
God damn those kisses are HOT.

120kW of Nvidia AI compute
This one rack has 120kW of Nvidia AI compute power requirements. Google, Meta, Apple, OpenAI AND others are buying these like candy for their shity AI applications. In fact, there is a waiting list to get your hands on it. Each compute is super expensive too. All liquid cooled. Crazy tech. Crazy energy requirements too 🔥🤬 All such massive energy requirements so that AI companies can sell LLM from stolen content from writers, video creators, artists and ALL humans and put everyone else out of the job while heating our planet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
To add some context for people on what 120kW means…
An average US home uses 10,500kWh per year, or an average of 29kWh per day. This averages out at 1.2kW.
In other words, if that server rack runs its PSU at 100%, it’s using as much power as 100 homes. In about 6sqft of floor space. Not including power used to cool it. The average US electricity rate is around $0.15/kWh. 120kW running 24/7 would cost $13,000 per month. Compare that to the electricity bill for your house. (Thanks, Matt)

In one segment of the keynote, Huang talked about the potential for Nvidia ACE to power 'digital humans' that companies can use to serve as customer service agents, be the face of an interior design project, and more. This makes absolute sense, since who are we kidding, Nvidia ACE for video games won't really make all that much money. However, if a company wants to fire 90% of its customer service staff and replace it with an Nvidia ACE-powered avatar that never sleeps, never eats, never complains about low pay or poor working conditions, and can be licensed for a fee that is lower than the cost of the labor it is replacing, well, I don't have to tell you how that is going to go.
When Nvidia has melted the last glacier on earth, the people who are left homeless due to rising oceans will be replaced by Nvidia's Digital Humans. It's a slow motion apocalypse, presented with smiles & applause.

LiDAR reveals vast ancient Maya city and complex networks hidden in Mexico's Campeche forest
Tumblr media
- By Nuadox Crew -
Archaeologists have uncovered thousands of ancient Maya structures and a large city named Valeriana in Campeche, Mexico, using aerial LiDAR technology to penetrate dense forest cover.
The discovery, which spans around 47 square miles, includes urban and rural settlements with reservoirs, temples, and roads, resembling other major Maya cities.
Previously overlooked due to its inaccessibility, Campeche is now recognized as a vital part of the Maya Lowlands, revealing complex urban planning and extensive connectivity among Maya cities.
The findings challenge the view of Maya cities as isolated entities, instead suggesting a vast, interconnected network.
Experts consider LiDAR a transformative tool, reshaping understanding of ancient Maya civilization and its environmental adaptation, organization, and conservation needs.
