Putting a cat ear headband on Legacy, the cute moth that he is

now he does not only have cat behavior, he is BECOMING A CAT ENTIRELY!!!!

it's actually Hu Tao who gives you the cat ear headband as a joke, giggling with that signature mischievous glint in her eyes as you just give her a flat, deadpan stare. it's big for you, much too big, and you know that Hu Tao is keenly aware of Foul Legacy's existence, one of few in the harbor besides you and Zhongli. you look up at her again with a raised brow, and the funeral parlor director has to fight to keep herself from devolving into cackles at your expression, skipping over to your side and cheerfully pointing out that there are bows sewn at the base of the ears

she has to duck out of the way when you move to smack her head, laughing all the while

as usual, Legacy runs to greet you when you return home, nudging himself into your arms and purring, but he pauses when he sees the headband in your hands, tilting his head and trilling curiously. with a quiet sigh you hold it up for him to inspect, Legacy's claws poking the faux fur covering the ears- it's not nearly as soft as his fur, and he prods his own fluff to prove it. you nod and gesture for him to lean down, then abruptly plunk the ears on his head, right in front of his horns. he chitters in surprise, shaking his head and batting at the new accessory with his talons for a few minutes before looking at you questioningly, and oh my ARCHONS he's even more adorable with cat ears. now he looks like a cat twice as much, and the ribbons on the headband match the lilac of his fluff!! you quickly snap a photo with your kamera to save for your photo album- of course he can't wear the headband all the time, so you'll have to substitute for tying little bows around both of his horns <3

“This thing is legally dubious and therefore technically unenforceable.” Is not a “useless liberal gotcha” it’s how legalism works in this country. Tying up stupidly worded EOs in court is the quickest way to keep them from being implemented. It is the definition of “doing something.” But it doesn’t usually involve much tweeting so of course a certain type of leftist feels obligated to mock it.

#challenging an EO in court keeps it from being implemented for a very long time and that’s a good thing #not only does it *not get implemented* for usually at least a year as it gets appealed over and over again #it also distracts conservative resources from going full steam ahead because they have to dedicate resources to defending their bullshit in #and the dumber their bullshit is the longer it takes to defend and the less they can get done #this is materially good so yes saying ‘this EO is poorly worded and can be interpreted to mean that all people are now female’#is a valid point to make
