"I'm the one that grabbed you tight and raised you out of perdition" is my roman empire, but like 30 times as intense.
I'm not kidding you, I was GIVING my EXAM, ok writing about slavery in the roman fuckign empire and my mind straight starts playing this phrase back to back like a broken record.
I had to PHYSIUCALLY put my head down for a couple of minutes to recalibrate myself and tell myself that if i fail it's because of Destiel.

"if you draw someone's design - it is stealing" Gonna be honest, I've been around a good like 30 some years in art. And have never once heard this, I don't know where it would come from. Like if an artist has a boundary and doesn't want their designs drawn? Sure but this is no a wider art community thing It should have been brought up with yall as soon as it was seen. Esp if it was found through repost which something we artist can't control. It sucks but its not fair that things weren't ever said You and Kef are like some of the nicest people I've noticed in the fandom. And if you were told earlier you guys would have changed that It was an accident, don't beat yourself up to hard. But also don't let it squash anything drawing wise. Since most of us would LOVE for you or others to draw our designs. But good on you for stepping up and letting people know Honestly drawing a design isn't stealing unless a boundary is crossed. We'd all be in hot water if that were the case Hasbro would be all over us fanartist
Congrats my nervous system right now is so shaky that you made me cry, I give you the medal of being the first anon to make so, it is damn hard, be proud pffht I never minded my art being used anyhow unless it is just being sold in any way but that doesn't mean I will not understand when I am pointed out on something This is not okay when artist states they don't like their designs being used ->
Tumblr media
Which even if by mistake but crossed the line and I must apologise Disformer already seem to be in a plenty of stress and discontent from this whole situation and they didn't even had that much time in the past to just find out about it Imagine you come back from a month of hard work and see that everyone printed the face from your art everywhere (exxaggeration but I want to point out that they were not ready and this is not a pleasant thing to find out and they couldn't reach out in time)

Hi, I've read your Blondie/Tuco ship manifesto and I'd love to ask you something since I'm on a personal quest to understand more why ppl ship these two.
I'm not here to hate, but for context you need to know I ship Blondie with Angel Eyes and might use that ship for comparison. I love complex characters with depth (which we all know they each have in TBGU), hence I don't have a problem with morally grey or criminal characters.
I like Tuco as a character, love the depth that his family situation gives him, the loneliness and sadness in it, and I fully support the idea of Blondie having compassion for Tuco and their frenemies vibes.
I was excited about you pointing out the ropekink/bdsm side of their relationship which I was frankly too blind to see and now am absolutely paying atention to bc I was too deep in my own kink interpretation of Angel Eyes stepping on men with his high leather boots while sucking on a pipe (guess the "Tuco being beaten at the camp" scene has very different meanings for the two of us :D)
Still however there is one major thing that buggs me about Tuco. So why can't I see the ship and instead ship Blondie with Angel who is also a bad man? I've told myself: well maybe it's simply just bc you're superficial and don't find Tuco attractive (I mean I can smell the man through the screen :D) and love Mr. Lee Van Cleef's face too much. So would it be different if Tuco was played by someone I find hot?
Well… no. After many discussions with my gf (you see we're both "old" tumblr residents and share a number of ships together and often spend a long time talking about them) I've realized it's the rapings. "….raping a virgin of the white race, statuatory rape of a minor of the black race.."
Angel Eyes is supposedly this evil man. But I see someone principled, intelligent, cold/composed and efficient. A murderer for hire (who is very interestingly not wanted by the law), who among other methods uses violence to get what he needs/wants. He just gives me dom vibes sorry :D.
Blondie is supposedly a good man. But I see an opportunistic fraud, also intelligent (also very interestingly not wanted by the law - I have some headcanons about that), who uses others for his own gain and bends the law as it suits him.
And Tuco. The ugly. I see a fiery intrepid man, a simple man, who is above all selfish and will betray anyone anytime if it suits him. Who rather then becoming a poor priest turned to crime for his own gain and truly doesn't shy from violence and murder.
I know the movie tells us that none of these men really are simply "the good, the bad, the ugly" still I've found I'm not able to get over the rapings in the context of placing Tuco in a romantic relationship with anyone, and am super curious if it's a problem for Blondie/Tuco shippers as well or if it's just written off as criminal behaviour or smth else entirely.
Thanks for the long message! Whoa this is a very fun question
… Angel Eyes literally beats up a woman on screen… 🤣 isn’t that problematic for you?
As for the rapings - if you accept AE beat up a woman and killed innocent children what is the problem withe morally dubious actions perpetrated by another character? It seems to me you’re applying double standard to him and Tuco.
Furthermore, you’re condemning Tuco for something they accuse him of and we have no evidence of. In my opinion these accusations were made up artificially to increase his bounty - because they are exxaggerated and borderline unbelievable.
Also - you can smell Tuco? He is literally the only character who takes the time to have a bath? He is canonically the one who cares the most about personal hygiene.
Tuco was also cunning, smart and tenacious enough to find Blondie not once but TWICE, leveraging his knowledge of him and acting out a revenge that tells a lot about Tuco having a sadistic, dominant side. Blondie is literally scared to the bone by him and for a reason. Blondie knows Tuco could kill him in a heartbeat and is probably the only person who is able to. Not only that - Blondie actually find this a reason to respect and admire Tuco deeply - and that is something that Blondie does not have for AE. He literally walks out on AE without any care - to go back to Tuco, and you can see from his eyes and his smile how happy he is.
And Blondie develops complex feelings for him - on one side he cannot forget the torture and the murder attempts - it’s so personal between them, like some sort of untold promise to always try and overpower the other (and you know how Blondie would not be interested in getting the better of someone he knows he is weaker than him). On the other side Blondie grows fonder and fonder of Tuco - he smiles when Tuco is around and gets worried when he is in danger. So I wouldn’t talk about feelings of compassion - it’s more about tenderness and friendship, with Blondie being borderline needy of Tuco’s attention and friendship.
Also… AE is not wanted by the law… have you ever considered that he has probably bribed the law to get a pass and be invisible…? That he exerts his power via his money? He pays his henchmen, he pays Wallace, he probably paid someone to get into the army. Have you ever thought that this makes him powerful over poor people who get arrested instead? Which is exactly what Blondie despises (people who take on other people who are weaker than them). I think Blondie has a very low opinion of AE.
So yes I actually believe things would change if Tuco were played by someone you find hot!

the addams family meta
so i'm watching the 1960's show right now and what occurred to me is how much of what outsiders think is weird and 'kooky' is just... love. like, the addams family love each other, and they want each other to be happy, so they'll do kooky things like have a room set up for just toy traintracks because Gomez loves them (and also loves blowing them up, lol). there's a greenhouse full of deadly, meat(potentianly human?)-eating plants because Morticia loves them. when Pugsley strays from the 'dark' path and wants to be a boy scouts, sure they have a moment of doubt. and then that's gone and they do everything they can to make him feel accepted and loved.
the addams family love each other, and respect each other, and believe in each other. they support one another, and that's the weirdest thing of all.
like, they have weird hobbies, gothic tastes, are probably quasi-immortal but... they want you to be happy, too. if you ask they'll help you for nothing in return, and they'll probably have a grand time doing so.
they're kind people, open-minded, willing to change their minds if shown proof they're wrong. they're not convinced of their superiority, or think they know better. a lot of the hijinks that make others unhappy lierally only occur because those same others were too afraid of the addamses (just because there are some weird plants, or a traintrack, or Lurch is too tall) to ask them to stop, or quit, or whatever, or just told them they don't like a particular tea flavor (slight exxaggeration but basically correct).
the addams family like what they like, and they're not ashamed of it. they love each other, and they're not ashamed of it. they help each other, and they're not ashamed of it.
like i'm not saying they're not also weird people with weird biologies (Fester is literally a charging station for electronics) but that's entirely secondary. they're not weird because they're weird, they're weird because they accept that 'weirdness' and they accept your normalness too.
ngl, they're just kind people.
i've seen a couple of episodes of Wednesday and while it's not a bad show (like, it's visibly well-made) there is none of that kindness there. and i think it says a lot about us and the cynical individualism that is so prevaloent right now that we lose more and more kindness in every adaptation. and it's really a shame.

Andrew Tate says it's straight for men to sleep with Transgenders! 🏳️‍⚧️...
you know i figured out what bothers me so much about tate, its not the fact that his dad was literally in the CIA and he admits it, and hes the most obvious CIA asset of all time literally im not exxaggerating there has never been a more obvious plant in the history of the CIA i mean it literally. what bothers me most about him, is knowing all that, he still reminds me of a situation where i walk in on a bunch of thirteen year old boys and one of them is wearing my coat which is much too large for him and hes doing an impression of me, the impression obviously comes at least in PART from admiration, but the kid doing the impression is one of the very very rare kids who you go “well i dont know if they were all born that way, but this one was.” those are the exact vibes and i dont care how crazy that sounds.

Being dropped, it will happen to us all, at some point. So negotiating a pain with a measure of reason belongs to the art of living. A number of tips suggest themselves. Firstly: don't attempt to minimize what has happened...being brave has no place here. Allow your sadness so much room, so much time, so many melancholic songs, hot baths and induldgment meals for so long that you'll eventually bore yourself back into an appetite for life.
Secondly: Believe them when they said it. Don't imagine that their past sweetness and kind words provides any covert indications of future commitment.
Kill any remainiing of hope yourself, if they didn't quite have the courage to do so themselves.
Don't imagine that anyone can love on command. The capaciity to feel attrracted lies outside the will. It isn't a question of them not trying hard enough.
Remove morality from it. They were not being bad for not loving and nor were you good for wanting them. You were both on the search for pleasure that took you down different and conflicting routes.
Our conscious minds ride like tiny boats on the swells of unconscious psychoanalytic and biological seas. So don't turn this into a morality tale. They acted weirdly around the breakup. Not because they were bad or indeed unsure, they just felt terribly guilty. because they're 'nice'. which doesn't though mean that they want you. Many of us are predisposed to think especially well of people who don't want us. It feeds into our reserves of self-hatred. But this isn't romanticism, it is illness.
The true challenge is to stop being so revolted by people who do in fact want us and so admiring of those who don't. Think back to when you rejected people...you didn't hate them or regret them. The chief emotions are embarrassement and pity, Don't connect up the rejection with everything you fear and hate about being you. Dont accuse them of cowardice, don't exxaggerate their qualities...don't insist on their uniqueness. Don't offer them sex in the hope of changing their mind. Don't imagine that people can fall back in love with someone out of pity or of guilt.
and don't defensively maintain that they had a fear of intimacy. Just try to laugh and have a few rounds of casual sex. But above all, don't keep thinking of the end of this relationship as tragically sad. The only good relationship, the only relationship with mourning would be one to which two people desperately wanted to belong. And this wasn't, in the end, despite all the promising signs, that kind of relationship at all.

Charlie gave a smile.
Charlie: "Thank you, yes i think most sinners can be redeemed, some of them don't even deserve to be down here. There's several people who just had it rough in life and made the wrong choices, just because someone is dead doesn't mean they can't turn a page and escape the pits of hell. Take a look at Husk. I don't know what he did while he was still human but he's come so far, he has helped Angel to do better and now he's doing what he can to help Monokuma. I'm sure he can be redeemed. Even Monokuma i'm sure he can do good in this world, he doesn't have to take the road that leads to self destruction when he got so much better choices, his friends would agree i'm sure."
Husk gave a long exxaggerated sigh, he still had a leash, he wasn't going anywhere as long as his soul was locked down to Alastor. He picked up Monokuma.
Tumblr media
"Come on kid. Let's get you some food, you're probably hungry after all that and exhausted, don't worry. Old Husk got you." He took the cub with him and went to make some food for Monokuma.
Tumblr media
"Wow, you made him more angry at you, i'm almost surprised."
Charlie looked down.
Charlie: "He doesn't think he's leaving hell... Does he?"
Event: Havoc
*You were awakened to a loud sound. It sounded like a crashing noise from outside. You look out the window to see chaos in the streets of hell as many panicking sinners were seen running away from something. But what's going on? it's not extermination day. Not for until the end of the month, so what's happening?*

So I had to write a "Homeric hymn" for my Western Civ class, and they said I could write it about anyone: sibling, friend, hero...
So, obviously, I decided to write one about Trahearne. Three hundred words, they said. Very well.
*ahem*
Oh Trahearne, greatest of all sylvari, first of the Firstborn! His head is crowned with pale leaves, and his stature is incomparable with his kin. Wisdom and knowledge are his hallmarks, and he stands apart from his people. He has wandered the vastness of the land alone, and mastered it; he has steeped himself in its grief and misery, and yet kept his hope alive. Unquenched has it burned in his chest, and untiringly has he labored for the renewal of the land.
He is not unscathed; in his eyes dwell pain and distress; the plight of the world torments his soul. Yet still he stands tall, and his golden eyes shine with determination, hope, and a vision of a better future. He has united the people, and the leaders of the world look up to him. He has attempted the impossible, masterfully leading a fractious and unstable alliance against an enemy of cosmic proportions. He stands forth against corruption, and the world rallies behind him, facing down certain death with fire in their eyes. He has communicated his vision clearly and with hope, that it is a thing possible and not of despair. He has proven his words with deeds; for when all expected defeat, he led them to unlooked-for victory. He has mastered the dragon of undeath, and has united the people against the looming terror of the west. He has slain the parasite of his people, and freed his kin from its thrall; he has avenged the Mother Tree and his fallen brethren.
His heart bleeds yet remains steadfast, his soul is wracked with troubles and yet he never wavers from his purpose. He has cleansed the very soil of the land from corruption, and life now flourishes where once there was only wasteland, where for decades he labored fruitlessly and alone. He has triumphed over his most bitter enemy and brought life and peace, and green things grow where once was a blackened mass of land. He is a healer, a protector; to those who wander alone, on the verge of hopelessness, the sight of him is invigorating; he stands against despair, and his figure is the memory of hope fulfilled. He stands high and tall against darkness, and his outstretched hand holds corruption at bay, for he has weathered the storm; it cannot touch him.
