the actual worst part about Adulthood TM is having to drag YOURSELF to the pharmacy to get shots
#like as a child my parents were just like ''get in the car kids it's flu shot time'' and i did not have a choice.#which is great because if i DID have a choice i would have chosen to never get any shots ever#but NOW i have to drag my exhausted husk of a body to work and then school and then BACK TO WORK and then after that i do not get to go hom#NO i have to drag my exhausted husk to the PHARMACY so it can get STABBED WITH A NEEDLE#a needle that will (in the case of the new covid shot i just got) make me feel like i've been Run Over By A Herd Of Buffalo#for the next two to three business days#but then i'm not Actually Sick so i have to still drag my buffalo-trodden husk back to work the next day#i am. so tired. and my head is about to Explode. el-oh-el#if i had any other job in the universe i would call out. but i might as well be buffalo-trodden at the office and get paid for it
