I bet the adventure’s not gonna stop with these two.

Tidal Force by @the-blind-assassin-12  A mermaid AU, but the reader is the mermaid. Specifically one on Mandalore beneath the glassed-in Sea of Sundari and forever pining for the Concordian moon. There’s a reason for that though, and it all has to do with a fairytale...and I do so love a good fairytale.

I've had this song that I've been listening to on repeat and I could never quite put my finger on what it was about, i did read what the original meaning was about but find myself rejecting anything that is about 'music industry evil' and while it's probably true i think Through Glass is perfect for Crusher's time in captivity with the whole:

Ah yes, summer. Earth’s time for the beach, and Blackfire’s time to casually farm attention. Here she was, lying on a towel just like most people here tended to do - only that she wasn’t wearing a bathing suit. She was getting a lot of attention from that alone already, all while lying on her stomach and therefore not even showing off that much, and grinned to herself as the people sneaked a glance but quickly pretended to have their focus on something else. A few people had asked her things before - if she wanted company, or perhaps someone to help her with sunscreen - but she of course turned down everything, partly by downright blasting them with tiny beams of her energy.

It was now that she noticed another one who was staring, and she grinned at them. Maybe she had enough of the casual attention, maybe something more direct would be nice. “Hi! Don’t be shy, I noticed your staring.”
