I like Liane as a character but I also think that so many sp fans seem to forget that she's the reason Cartman is antisemitic. I've seen a decent amount of posts about how "she's such a good mom" and "how could Cartman come out like that???" and it's like... it's cause she's objectively not a good mom. Like very rarely is she ever a good mom. Some of y'all just can't separate being a soft person from being a good parent.
#south park#i get it's probably because they either haven't seen the early seasons or they consider the new seasons reworked and the only canon#but i consider everything canon and relevant to character analysis#even without lianes bigotry she still exposed her child to csa#also even without that she is very compliant to a neglectful extent type of parent
