Nothing could possibly feel better than coming home from a long, stressful day at work, collapsing into bed and feeling Dale snuggling up to me. Arms wrapped cozily around me, face in the crook of my neck. How warm and safe that would feel, especially coming in from a chilly night. The way he smells would be such a comfort, a nice memento that the day is over, and I won't have to think about it again. The sound of his breathing rhythmic and lulling me to sleep.
