i am super curious -- what do you guys headcanon the ghouls look like beneath those masks? i’ve seen them depicted in so many wonderful ways through fanart and fanfiction, but i’m eager to have a discussion about it tbh! because i know how i like to picture and interpret them, and i know how i choose to see them is going to be fairly different from how anyone else sees them, and i think it’s really cool to have that freedom of imagination.

i’m also curious to see if people equate the characters of ghost with the musicians who perform as them? personally, i have a firm divide between, for example, aether and chris catalyst. the two just don’t equal each other in my head? and when i picture aether, the ghoul, i do not think, oh yeah, that’s chris. idk???? just like, again personally, cardinal copia or any of the papas =/= tobias.

ANYWAY, please tell me your ghoulish appearance headcanons!!! what do they look like??? do they have horns? what kind? how big?? do they have truly demonic forms that hide within ordinarily human ones? do you base their appearances off of any other characters? the musicians who play them? random models? actors? what do these bubs look like to you?

[SPOILERS FOR THE IDENTITIES OF THE CURRENT NAMELESS GHOULS AHEAD]

No problem! I’m assuming you mean their real identities right? The ghouls used to be known by individual elements, but now they all just go by *Insert Instrument* Ghoul/Ghoulette.

In order to avoid confusing you, I’m just going to stick to the real identities of the current members that we know of so far. If you want to know any of the identities of previous era ghouls let me know. :)

I’m including our Overlord, vocalist and director, Tobias Forge because I can.First up for the Nameless Ghouls, we have Chris Catalyst on rhythm guitar (black guitar). He’s British and loves animals!Per Eriksson, is the tiny lead guitarist (white irregular shaped guitar).Justin Taylor is Swiss Army Ghoul (the dude on the left of the stage that does a little bit of everything including guitar and tambourine.)The bigger keyboard Ghoulette is supposedly Mad Gallica. She does covers on YouTube and is stunningly beautiful!

As for the drummer, the other skinnier Ghoulette keyboardist, AND MY ONE TRUE LOVE BASS GHOUL, their identities aren’t known yet.
