My Thoughts: This was my first Algenist product that I received in my August 2016 Play! by Sephora box. I was excited to see if this eye cream actually works. It comes a standard circle eye jar. The jar I have is a sample size however it has lasted me long time. I been using it since April 2017! So a little goes a long way. I use it in the mornings after I take a shower. I use it mainly on my eyelids, sometimes on my under eye area when I need a little more hydration The texture is on the thicker side but it does a well job at hydrating my eyes. The eye cream doesn’t alter my makeup. After a week of using Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm I found that its a great eye cream that decreases puffiness. But honestly thats all that is great about this product. After about 2 weeks I found a bump on my left eye, close to the lash line. I looked into it when I was writing this review and I found out other people had a similar experience. I tend to get dark circles so having a eye cream that can counter act that is very important. Again Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm failed to do anything for my dark circles. And my eye wrinkles? No change either!
Would I purchase Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm? Nope it, its way to expensive and it barely does anything for me, no to mention it doesn’t smell that great either.
