LMK SEASON 5 SPOILERS

The battle between Wukong and MK?? All those parallels, the foreshadowing that played out and the new ones???

On a more serious note though, I also really like how this season added to the fourth and third seasons' meaning and messages. While it reiterated the whole "only you can choose your own destiny" spiel, it also wrapped up the previous season's message of embracing who you are, both good and bad parts. It also added a new side to the previous point: you can't protect people by sacrificing yourself (most of the time), or by controlling them and how their lives go, putting them in a "cage" to keep them safe.

I'm still mad Mac and Wu didn't get to hold hands in the end though >:c

FIVE LAST MINUTE LMK S5 PREDICTIONS (POTENTIAL SPOILERS IF ANY OF THESE COME TRUE):

1. (Thanks to @cherllyio for posting abt this and bringing this to my attention!) Macaque will be the first to be trapped by Li Jing as he holds him off so the gang can escape to find the stones.

^ This pic looks like Li Jing using the pagoda to trap Macaque (since the BG is clearly the city)

v This pic is definitely Macaque about to (attempt to) kick Li Jing’s ass—

(and then when they do eventually get caught which will probably be like 1 episode later at the most he’ll be all like “bruh wtf why did I even sacrifice myself for these idiots”)

2. Wukong WILL be put out of commission/near death, but instead of it being because of the popular theory that he is connected to the fifth stone, it will be Li Jing using the circlet to a more extreme degree. This could be the point where they already have all the stones and that was one of Li Jing’s attempts to slow them down.

But all it will result in is MK snapping and using the stones to beat his ass/fix the sky (as shown by this shot of him crying with the stones)

3. Fixing the sky (or, at least MK getting all the stones) is part of the traitor’s plan. HEAR ME OUT.

What if the traitor’s plan is to use MK as a tool for chaos, and they know that the stones will unlock his full power?

4. PENG RETURNS. I mean cmon let’s face it you can’t just have them fly off into the sky and leave it at that—

Maybe they could be recruited by the new villain and then get backstabbed, basically kinda forcing them to either flee once again or help our heroes.

5. (This is the complete opposite of a theory I had—) When the gang eventually does meet Nüwa, she will reveal that she didn’t create MK for any large or important reason, she just wanted to create something that could stay with her and not die.

MK was born a star

So consider this as I have yet to see someone made this theory or if someone did then I want to bring it up to light again-

What if MK was a fallen star? Hear me out, we get plenty of scenes where MK fall so many times throughout the show that my red flag starts waving at the implication. There are two noticeable scenes that spikes my inspiration to create this theory:

From (2x00 - Revenge of the Spider Queen) to (4x00 - The Emperor's Wrath)

And he's constantly saved either by one of his gang or monkey king himself. What if it's implied that he might have fallen off from up above somewhere and landed on flower fruit mountain wherein he was born, then he continues his journey down to megapolis (probably literally tumbling over hence was covered in mud in that one shot lol) and that's where he met Pigsy

If let's say we are going to follow the Goddess Nüwa theory that MK was made from her

In this scenario, she was making a clay molding of a little monkey because it was her duty to keep creating and it slipped off from her fingers that it fell right off from her place. Here's my evidence:

(4x06 - Show me the monster)

We get a cutscene of a clay molded lion hitting the floor which could possibly represent Azure Lion that he fell from grace when the gang defeated him or when he got the powers from the Jade Emperor but this could also be a direct representation of MK falling off from his place up above but in a sad tragedy, it broke in half which pops out little MK - I also think it ties in his amnesia where he couldn't remember where he was from or his parents are.

And that's where the end of my theory goes. I have so many things I wanted to add but I need to form my thoughts before publishing them cuz it's a mess-
