aghgghghg no anon ok... distress signal scenario ive been bouncing around. alternate game ending where arnold escapes w the schematics without MCM burning down (bc u know fazbears would sue him to recompense every damn item in there). the mimic chases him as he drives away but he floors it n manages to leave it behind. but hes paranoid abt it coming after him so after dropping off the data he holes up in his apartment having sleep deprivation hallucinations where he swears he keeps hearing the mimics footsteps n voice. he can barely sleep n ends up hiding in his closet bc it feels safe like the MCM lockers.

anyway like the day after he finished his shift, dispatch was told to call him in to work again, but whenever he called arnold didnt pick up. it kept going to his answering machine, where a terrified arnold was convinced it was the mimic again taunting him n trying to lure him out. afton is breathing down dispatch's neck saying to just fire arnold if he wont come in, n dispatch is worried bc the last time he spoke to arnold, he mentioned the mimic escaping MCM n being out there.

so he goes to check up on him n finds him cowering terrified, being super jumpy, still not having eaten n constantly nodding off then jolting awake in fear. and he covers for arnold w some story so he won't get fired n takes care of him. buys him groceries bc his fridge is empty, cleans him up n makes him eat n drink, then sits w him so he'll feel safe enough to go to sleep. when arnold wakes up he has to put his work persona back on n tell him he has to come in for another shift tho

The entire reason for no anon is so anyone who gets a lil ✨️ zesty ✨️ either has to share with the class or go back to their corner xd

Honestly the vibes im getting here are full on "What if we FNaF 4 the poor bastard" and im fucking thriving on it!

Arnold canonically woulda been awake for AT LEAST 48 hours at that point (we only got told that his SHIFT was 36 hours and he still has to drive to his jobs + the 6 hours spent at MCM) and we'd be correct to assume that he hasnt eaten or drank for at least 7 hours & that he was injured a bit by the Big Top and Captain Colbalt (Captain Springlock) falls so his nerves and senses would be absolutely FUCKED

Meanwhile dispatch canonically wasnt able to get hold of the sopping wet cat for 5 hours so throw even more hours in after he sees the state Arnie's in (bruised, exhausted, shell-shocked and likely bleeding a lil) and his concern would be through the roof and most likely have him biting his tongue so he doesn't snap at Willy since the asshat knew about M2's homicidal tendencies

Then ends up finding and tending to Arnold like one would a stray animal (careful bath, injury checks, food, fluids etc) and hearing small snippets of the shit F10N4 and M2 put him through and about how F10N4 tried to get him to hand over the Data Diver (with him realising F10N4 is impersonating Dispatch due to finding the Audio Tapes)

I light heartedly disagree that the secret is there is two.

Book readers knew this, or at least its been extremely theorized because of Helpi and Mimic / "Gregory". To be fair, the average player does not know. I only got my knowledge from people reading the books and Rye Toast theorizing about Mimic One ( Glitchtrap / Storyteller ) and Mimic Two ( Ruin Mimic ).

I feel like the secret is the Mimic was a child. But i want to Point out 'was' because i do see the Ruin Mimic as "an adult" since it did "grow and change".

I do feel like it has its own personality now, but is blinded by rage and trauma."
