the first wille’s smile of the season and simon is the one and only reason for it to happen *act surprised*.

he has no rush but takes his time to enjoy simon’s presence, looking from afar first and then approaching him. just having him there is enough to make him This happy.

the casual gestures of fixing the jacket or bumping into the shoulder make me melt - just typical boyfriends things and we absolutely praise them in this house!

wille's flirtatious mood in this whole sequence is the best thing that could've happened to me - to simon too! the "i can show you", the whispering, the head's nod. he's still my fav loser but oh how much he has learned and stepped up the game.

also, i genuinely think not showing them holding hands here with a wider shot is a crime.

such a perfect parallel of the fish scene and they're probably reminded of that too: this time it's wilhelm's bedroom and a foreign place for simon, so he's the curious one - looking around and taking the space in - while wille simply waits for him.

simon's "mysigt" to describe the room, just like wilhelm did. it is another special moment for both of them.

this. this. this!!! claim a s3 moment as your own - this is mine.

to me it is the most seductive and romantic one they've ever shared hands down. it comes straight out of a fanfic.

the tension, the longing, the chemistry, the flirting. there's so much to unpack here: wille's breath is literally vibrating and simon's presence is so intense, he builds up the tension and keeps wilhelm waiting for his next move in the most endearing way - wille is also leaning into his hand at the end. there's no talking, they're barely touching but still filling the room with all the passion and attraction they feel for one another - this is actually insanely scripted and portrayed.

no thoughts head empty just simon's tongue and his hands through wille's hair (he's obsessed, excuse him!).

and it kinda seems like simon is getting pulled closer by the waist or he's pushing himself closer - either way it's hot soo

simon's little leg lift and him pinning wille down on the bed by the wrist right before the cut - they're comfortable and open and so playful with each other. wilhelm's hand that caresses simon's back is very much important too.

simon caressing wille's cheek (he has to return the favor ig) and wilhelm leaning up again when they interrupt the kiss.

these brief moments are the cutest. i love how they stay so close and can't stop tracing each other's features.

the nose rub. the mirrored smiles. they've missed and wanted this for so long and they're taking the most of it.

this whole scene is so passionate and they're both so touchy bc they were clearly waiting for this to happen - during a meeting at the palace might not be the greatest scenario, but the thrill that comes with it is definitely something.

i like the role play throughout the scene sm: wille initiates the first kiss, simon is the one taking the lead next and then it all comes back to wille rolling them over and taking initiative. the neck action is a serious thing for him and idk where his hand would've ended up if they hadn't been interrupted - and we do! love! all of it!

they're laughing over the fact that they were not caring about anything at all but spending quality time with each other. and they deserve it so freaking much.

look at them!!! this is not a subtle look bc they simply do not care anymore. i adore them your honor.

Thinking about how both Wille and Simon describe each others room as “mysigt”. Thinking about how Wille meant it and Simon didn’t know what else to say and was possibly also referring to the time Wille said that. Thinking about how in Simon’s room, they get uninterrupted alone time. Thinking about how in a place run by the royal family, they do get interrupted by someone calling them to duty.

(Aka the crown interferes with Wille’s (and subsequently Simon’s) life whereas Simon’s “normal life” allows them to be themselves without interruptions. As long as Wille is Crown Prince he can never just be Wille who loves and wants Simon. He always has to perform an act and reconcile these two opposites).

Jag har tänkt på vilka fler Astrid Lindgren historier jag skulle vilja se som anime-adaptationer och jag har kommit fram till... alla!

Jag tror varje Astrid Lindgren historia KAN fungera som anime! På olika sätt!

Fantasy-berättelserna som Bröderna Lejonhjärta och Mio min Mio kunde fått episka animerade scener.

Sedan de "vardagligare" historierna som Lotta och Barnen i Bullerbyn... det skulle bara sett mysigt ut, speciellt Bullerby-barnen... tänk typ som barnen i Totoro...

Hade även älskat en Madicken anime just för att jag tror det skulle påminna mig lite om Candy Candy och Sandybell i stilen och tiden det utspelar sig i <3

Pippi VET JAG de skulle göra till en bra anime, de VILLE göra det men fick inte för Astrid Lindgren (och sen använde de bakgrunderna till Kikis Expressbud <3)

Emil kanske är en av de få som kunde vara lite svårare då den är så VÄLDIGT baserad i en svensk kontext. Samtidigt finns animes som utspelar sig i andra länder - det finns en anime som utspelar sig i Finland (inte Mumin utan med människor) som kom på typ 80-talet. Sedan så utspelar sig ju Ronja (som de HAR gjort till anime) i Sverige också. Så Emil skulle kunna funka i kontexten av historisk anime hur det var att leva i Sverige under en viss tidsperiod <3

Det har gått några dar, jag är fortfarande krasslig men på bättringsvägen! Det känns som jag börjar komma in i det hela och få lite koll.

Igår var jag o min svenska klasskompis i botaniska trädgården o strosade runt, det var mycket mysigt! Efter det var ja tvungen att gå till bibblan och skriva klart en uppgift, konstigt med läxor.

Emilia's Laid-Back Swedish Country Family Home

If so, activate your "do not disturb" - this Swedish country home is as 'mysigt' as can be! Emilia Nilsson lives with her family in a characterful early 20th century house with "worn wood floors and lots of laughter" in the Småland, countryside in south Sweden. Done up little by little, the house oozes charm from every corner with its beautiful selection of wallpaper, traditional earthy tones and simple array of natural materials. But best of all, the relaxed home is designed to be lived in - and a space where children can play freely, and dogs and cats are invited to lounge. Ready to see inside?

Traditional deep red, sage green and off white have been combined on the exterior for a warm look that fits with its surroundings. 

The large porch can be used for potting and lounging rain or shine. 

One of the things I love about Scandinavian furniture is that's designed to for functionality first and looks second. Just as this cat has discovered! Furniture built from solid wood will stand the test of time since it can be sanded down and refurbished - so it will never look tatty. 

Candle season has officially begun - with flames adding warmth at breakfast, lunch and supper - as well as all times in between. Please be extra vigilant though - never place a candle near anything flammable and or leave unattended. It's always good to keep the room well aired too. 

The circular window is a real showstopper! I love that Emilia has made it a feature by creating a quiet place to sit and reflect or read a book while looking out over the garden. The wallpaper is from Boråstapeter. 

Emilia has used wallpaper from Ulricehamns Tapetfabrik as a backdrop to sleep and play in the children's bedroom. 

Last summer, Emilia and her friend Clara started a small flower boutique for passersby. I think I got around 5 flowers in total in our summer cottage garden this summer so to have an abundance of flowers to sell like this would be the ultimate dream! It looks well manned by the resident kitty too! 

So charming! I love how much soul this home has, it's put me in such a great mood for the start of the week. Friday evening. Hygge (Danish), or the Swedish term "Mysa":

Mysa: to be cozy | Mysighet, Mys: coziness | Mysig, Mysigt: a cozy environment or situation.

I was named after my Swedish great-great-grandmother Johanna Maria Bernhardina (omitting her last name and married last name). She had 13 children and one of her sons, Lambert Gabriel, is my great grandfather who settled in Hollywood in the early 1920's.

Det har snöat och varit blåsigt där jag bor idag, så hälften av de de jag träffat idag har sarkastiskt sagt "vilket mysigt/härligt väder idag". Bland de svenskaste upplevelserna som finns.
