Czech filmmaker and animator Michaela Pavlátová, presents her first feature length project My Sunny Maad. The film is a Czech-French coproduction (Sacrebleu Productions, Negativ) and tells the story of Herra, a Czech woman, that falls in love with Nazir, an Afghan, but has no idea about the life that awaits her in post-Taliban Afghanistan, nor about the family she is about to join.
The film was presented at Cartoon Movie in March 2017, and the release is scheduled for December 2018.
