The saiyan took a deep breath and looked into the flames of the candle. "I came from a ruined world where humanity was pushed to the brink of extinction because of two man-made monsters. Two cyborgs that wanted nothing but to bring terror into the world. My mentor Gohan was the only one strong enough to fight them but it wasn't enough, he was killed because I wasn't strong enough to protect him. Two years later, I decided to enter the fight on my own but I hardly did anything. Now this is the part where I MIGHT lose you, but my mother had created a time machine so I can go to the past and help my mother's friends who were all fighters, so they wouldn't have to go through what we did."

He was a man of scattered speech. He spoke when thought necessary, and didn't at other times, and it was all the same endearing — Yoimiya would pitch in, fill the empty spaces, with no issue at all. If there was a silence, it was agreed upon, and comfortable... the sort that lulls you into sleep, the sort that nestles up to your shoulders. So, whenever Trunks had whisked her away for a talk, her mind was jammed full of ideas!

... More leaning on the less intimate side, admittedly (had he finally come up with some meals she could whip up for him? did he get that super secret kimono she had fashioned for him specifically?), and thus appropriately Yoimiya applied herself: a listening posture, a smile that softened at the edges. Even with his gaze far from hers, Yoimiya made sure his hands weren't, both hands pillowing one of his own. Comfort from all angles, her mind surmised.

In spite of being cast in a fog of unknowing (cyborgs, time machines, alternate universes?), Yoimiya hadn't let her bewilderment paint her features, her only shifts coming in her inching closer, parting for distance, but never allowing too large a gap.

"Like the Ruin Sentinels," Yoimiya voiced. "But more... intent, I guess I should say. Not much has been uncovered regarding the automatons, whether their actions are controlled, programmed or otherwise, but... they sound like a more souped-up version of them."

More deadly went without saying.

"I'm sorry. That you had to go through that, I mean. Hey, listen for a sec," angling his chin thus, Yoimiya forced their eyes to meet. "I wasn't there, I know I can't offer any first-hand accounts, but... it's not that you weren't strong enough. It wasn't your mentor's fault, either - it was the work of whatever those things were. It had nothing to do with your strength or his, and had everything to do with them."

Palm atop of his hand once more, she caressed aimlessly every bump, every frayed scar. They weren't the hands of a craftsman, of a textile worker, of a farmer. They were the hands of a fighter, belonging to the man she loved. A man who blamed himself too often, a fighter who deemed himself too weak too often.

"I don't know what's going on in that head of yours, and I won't tell you how to process it. But I don't want you holding this blame forever, okay? Past, present, future, whatever - you've got enough in your arms already, that'll just send you toppling!"

Nose bumped against the plush of his cheek, she gripped tight his hand.

"For what it's worth? I think it's super cool that you got here because of a, uh, time... thingy. And your mom made it?! How long did you plan on keeping that from me?! Do you got any blueprints, or- ooh, you guys probably had an upgraded Kamera, right? Did you get any pictures—?!"

With this weight saddled on his chest... it was no wonder Trunks was most at home with silence. If only by an ounce, if only by a fraction, Yoimiya hoped to help lift this weight, to set it off to the side not to be forgotten, but to be a past reminder; an old ache, now healed.

Just as he had worked, just as he had trained, so would she.

I'm still keeping this blog archived, but I wanted to stop by and say hello. I hope everyone is doing swell!

I've been busy with work but if you keep up with me on ao3, you know I've been writing here and there! they unfortunately laid off two of my coworkers on my direct team, leaving me as the sole engineer in our department, so I'm pretty stressed/bummed at work, but just trying to take it day by day. I try to find little pockets of my life to sit down and write, though it's been harder to do that as of late. But that's okay!

I've also been on a bit of a health journey that's been going well so far! I'm eating cleaner, moving around more, and I'm just taking better care of myself.

my bf and I are extremely close to finishing up our Pokemon card collection (scarlet & violet 151), hoping we can find the rest of the cards (for a good deal) at any of the upcoming card shows we're planning to attend.

I'm currently obsessed with Chappell Roan and if you haven't listened to her yet DO IT NOW. she's INCREDIBLE, an absolute ICON.

I'm watching the new season of Demon Slayer and Tanjiro is literally the cutest, most precious boy who must be protected at all costs. Also, a fire has been awakened inside me for Giyu and Sanemi, I've been having lots of THOUGHTS about them. Tengen and his wives are still so fine and I want to be sandwiched between all four of them please.

I'm slowly but surely making my way through my Persona 5 Royal playthrough, and I have to say that gun daddy Iwai is heavy on my mind, and knowing that Kaiji Tang (Gojo and Sanemi's English dub) voices him only makes him hotter.

last but not least, Nanami is still the love of my life and I've finally started writing this series I've been planning for nearly a year now, so I'm pretty excited to do that (whenever I have the time!)

Oh boy, do I.

Tangled Crew loves their collective baby bro, and would die for him, but when he went off on a 2-3 year journey with almost NO COMMUNICATION back home. They are needless to say, very shocked when he, out of the blue, walks into the castle. And oh boy, he went through a life changing experience.

His hair is slightly singed, wearing clothing that he definitely didn’t own before (they were gone for 2-3 years, at some point team radical changed their clothing styles and now have similar looking clothes, still unique to them but similar), about 6 inches taller, with more friends (and a bf, but they don’t know that yet), no adult supervision, and without the very woman he went to go find . “Varian if you went on this journey to find, and if need to rescue, your mom, and bring her back. Where is she?” “Oh yeah, she turned into a demon and tried to kill us all. Don’t worry she’s gone now.” “She did what now?”

Varian did actually send letters, mainly to his dad, but most of them were intercepted by enemies or Don.

Rapunzel gets along well with Nuru, and before the younger girl has to go back to her kingdom they paint stars together and talk royal business.

Anytime Hugo and Eugene see each other, it is 👏 on 👏 sight. At least for the first week, after that Hugo keeps making piano jokes (that varian is giving him) and Eugene is tired.

Varian and Hugo both work as Royal Engineers and Librarians, with rotating days of who works where and what place is open for business.

Cass doesn’t trust any of Varian’s friends for the first 40 minutes she meets them, then Yong says hi to her and she’s like: Oh my god a child, must be protected at all costs.

Eugene is tired with a Hugo’s bs, but he makes a varian happy so it’s fine.

Rapunzel doesn’t understand any of the inside jokes any of them have. What’s this about Hugo’s mom once being apart of a gang?

Hugo and Varian REFUSE to tell them what actually happened in the library. The place is very important, useful, and they like their jobs there, but if Raps, Eugene, Cass, Quirin, Lance, or anyone else found out? Oh no, that place would be closed for good.

Raps likes Hugo, thinks he’s a good match for Varian. Unfortunately for her, and everyone else, she doesn’t know much about what happened in vat7k.

Since Varian’s letters never came, no one really knows what all happened during vat7k outside of team radical and few others.

Yong and Cass get along very well! Big sister and little brother vibes. They like to prank Varian, Eugene, and Hugo together.

Lance loves all of them equally <3 and will make favorite foods.

Hugo helps Eugene with teaching guards on how to catch thieves, since Eugene has been out of the game for a few years and it’s good to know what tricks are new and not.

When Varian comes back, Quirin absolutely starts telling his son more about his life. (I saw someone else have a hc like this but can’t find it, whoever came up with that is a genius)

Yong visits every month or two, and then proceeds to cause chaos with Varian and Hugo. After that, he knocks them both out so they can get some god forsaken sleep. The tangled crew have never been more grateful.

Nuru will also visit a lot (like Yong) and cause chaos with varigo.

If Nuru and Yong ever move into the castle, team radical would be thrilled. The tangled crew would only ever dread game night.

I have more headcannons, but their mainly varigo based. Otherwise this is all I can remember right now.

I feel this PR show is far from over. She needs "the guy on the chiefs" line to last to the end of the tour. He's about to get really busy, so they have to squeeze whatever they can out of this show.

when i saw posts saying that ICDIWABH is officially her second single, that convinced me that there won't be a mv, because she loves to completely surprise us and now we all expect a mv, you know? lately she seems focused on not doing what we expect her to do. but maybe she'll do the unexpected by doing what we expect this time lol

i wonder if she'd do a new romantics-style tour clip for the music video. i kind of doubt that because it sounds like she loves directing and coming up with music video concepts, but maybe she'd use that clip when trav was on stage?

personally, i've been feeling less bothered by him lately. i do my best to avoid hearing about him, and i don't spend much time thinking about his shittier behaviors. instead, i read blogs that talk about how she's using him as part of performance art, and i find comfort and even amusement from that. do i understand her choices and motivations? nope i certainly do not, and maybe one day we will but maybe we won't, and i'm not too attached to that.

and my unbotheredness really comes from the other things she's been doing lately that convince me so strongly about another, real, hidden story that must be protected at all costs. "ain't no way i'm gonna screw up now that i know what's at stake here at the park where we used to sit on children's swings"

i am so thoroughly convinced that travlor is a strategic move, a way to hide in plain sight; not a real love relationship, and that helps me accept it as something taylor believes she needs to do for the sake of her private life and her career. sometimes the things she does upsets me, but at the end of the day i don't know her end game or understand her reasonings or strategies and for the sake of my serenity i have to let go of things if they bother me too much. but i've come to a place where i have faith that she's doing what she need to and masterminding the outcomes she wants.

Villainy and antagonistic behaviour on Young Royals. The complexities of all evil, muahaha.

So. I'm afraid I'll have some comments about YR (second) most villainous character. The one we all love to hate. The one and only. Queen Kristina.

Let's start off by saying that I do think she is a fascinating antagonist to Wille's story (as she is for Simon's). And we as the audience can see how much harm she's doing to his child (and child's bf).

BUT, I must intervene on her behalf. She's an utterly complex character, with VERY few scenes to develop. She is not a flat Disney Villain that just want THE DEATH of our protagonists. As a queen, she was groomed from an early age to protect the monarchy (she says it on that obnouxios dinner scene), and she is a cis straight white woman who's always been in the spotlight. Kristina recognizes the difference in her context and of Wille (and Erik), who goes from being a backup to a full-fledged crown prince in one sad phone call.

Even though I don't really like her, I must point at least one scene which make me think she DOES care for Wille. First of all, she goes directly to school after the sex tape scandal is revealed. She sits right next to him (and I giggle when she kicks some piece of cloth from Wille's floor). She is NOT Linda. She has NOT gone through the same things as a normal Mother. She is a QUEEN. She is conservative. She likes tradition. She COULD not be there. She could send some other servant in her place. But she does not. She does not throw a fit, she doesn't even look angry. She is broken hearted (for various reasons, probably for her son being queer as well) and does not know how to act in this situation.

I reiterate that I do not think she is a competent mother. But well, let's think about it. How many other queer characters appear on the show? How many people that are openly queer? Does she know and interact with them? She probably doesn't know ANYTHING about LGBT+/Queer social experiences. It doesn't make her character any less villainous or antagonistic. But. She. Doesn't. Know.

Well. I don't actually think that SHE is the antagonist per se. I think she embodies the symbol of what is really the antagonist here (like in the vast majority of queer media), the true villain is how society is not really prepared, or educated, to treat Queer people. The villains just fall under the guise of ignorance. The true villain (embodied by The Monarchy, Traditions, and ultimatelly by Queen Kristina and Jan Oloaf) of Young Royals is how society functions. How problematic a Country governed with such a conservative viewpoint is to its own people.

I've read a few fanfictions and texts from the YR fandom, and usually Kristina is portrayed as an evil dictator with no feelings whatsoever. And i GET IT. A lot of us, Queer people have dealt with abusive parents, and ignorance, and violence and utmost villainy. But THAT IS NOT (entirely) what Queen Kristina does. She abuses her son as much as society pressure him. She herself does not lay a finger on him (not even for cuddles hahaha), but there are symbolic scenes where the hand of the monarchy (the machine of working people under the government) violently abuses him (the sex tape, the lies, the interviews, and even Malin getting him out of his room). She is also a bad human being, and even worse mother. But the power comes with cost, and as Bezos and all that higher ups, she does not have a proper understanding of how much matters to care about others, and not just status quo.

Also, she does not treat Simon any bad way. The scene where she meets with him in S1E6 is full of tension, but she is NOT angry or even disappointed. And later in the car she just blurts out her own (straight cis white priviledged) point of view. How she lived her life. How she believes it is appropriate for the country and the monarchy. She IS conservative. A Villain. But she is also well balanced and full of complexity.

She is such a good antagonistic villain, and with her own agenda too (whereas Wille's and Simon's feelings are just colateral damage). The thing about her being villainous is a slice of time. She COULD become an ally, and by the end of Season 2, I think with Wille's interview, that's the only move she's got, as a political and public figure. Wille's speach was a check-mate in Kristina's attempt to dictate Wille's public sexuality. And, she is moved by what is best for the monarchy (and maybe society, I don't really get if she is a GOOD queen by the hints of the show), and maybe now, when she is out of moves against Wille, she will be a better mother (I don't think she has in her to be a Good mother, she still is the worse, but a few steps better).

I also have to say that Pernilla August is a great actress, that portrays all these complexities with utmost expertise.

I want to see GuardianSonas for every colour, I want to see a cute tall girl cosplayer and her short cosplayer bf cosplaying Jiminy and Sunny and just being silly and cute, I want to see people cosplaying God-King Spamton more than Canon Spamton, I want to see an Elliot cosplayer terrorising random people at conventions(as long as they're ok with it), I want to see an army of Guardian Cosplayers chasing a single Daniel cosplayer, I want to see 12-year olds make Killjoy Fangirl Mary Sue OCs, I want to see JJaTCC actually get greenlit by Nickelodeon instead of that ANNOYING GREEN MUNTER KNOWN AS THE TINY CHEF(but hey there's always Cartoon Network), I want to see The Hallways become an actual print comic, I want to see everyone wondering if Chatterbox or Alastor from Hazbin Hotel would win in a fight, I want to see everyone agreeing that SmiLivia is one of the best Towers OC ships, I want to see that everybody knowing that Lee from Grammar Heroes is a precious, sweet lizard child that must be protected at all costs, I want to see people making ProxySonas. Like I could be talking about the marauders era fandom and I’m like yeah this is Alice Fortescue and I’m in love with her and this is her bf Frank, he’s a little angel that must be protected at all cost

And then we talk about pjo fandom and I go yeah that Clarisse, I love her, and this is her *imitates vomiting* “boyfriend” Chris who we are going to ignore unless we’re talking about him in a universe where he isn’t dating my wife

All the stuff that wasn’t long enough to make their own posts.

1. The entire show summed up in one cap.

2. Moving on...I love how Ivan is so protective of Maria. He is totally indignant at the thought Fermin is using Maria and complains to Marcos (who is all “bro, what is even the weird relationship you have with Maria?” Heh. In some sane. peaceful AU she’s a single mother and he protectively screens all her prospective boyfriends.)

3. But he has no idea how much Fermin loves and pines for Maria. (Side note - like stepdad like stepson? I still remember Ivan stealing and obsessing over Julia’s shirt during all the angst...)

The difference between Fermin and Hector was the same as between Ivan and Marcos - both the guys are great and principled and damn heroic, but Marcos and Hector will always put the cause first (though unlike the bad guys, never to the degree of dehumanizing anything in the way) and Fermin and Ivan would always put the woman they love first.

4. Darlings!!!!

The title of this ep was “Life is a dream” and underneath the horror trappings, Paula and Evelyn ponder the thought that occurs to every kid at some point - what if everything is a dream including you whole existence. It guts me that Paula’s first thought about that is maybe this is a dream and our parents are still alive and Marcos gently bursts that bubble (yet she is not wrong, is she? Not fully...)

But then when they decide they will stay in each other’s dream because they don’t want their friend to disappear. This is a small parallel of the show’s message - people who put ideals (usually twisted ones) so high as to ignore love and care and kindness are evil; our good guys have principles, have ideals, and sometimes they put them first but never to the degree of not caring about human cost; and they are driven by love.

5. Look what is on Ivan’s shirt! Like with his 1984 shirt, the makers are being cute and I love it!

6. I am not posting Marcos x Amelia make-out because it makes me ill. The older I get, the sicker I get. I get Marcos - he’s young, his whole life got destroyed and now the shards have been blown up, he liked Caro but she seems to be with Ivan - he’s desperate and lost seizing on any warmth. It’s so telling this only starts when he finds out his family was murdered and is so utterly at a nadir. But Amelia is a fucking adult! She makes me sick. SICK. I am so glad the show never went with “true love, it’s OK blah blah.” No, she was a distrurbed woman and a member of evil org (the signs she is off are from the very start; remember when Evelyn falls into a well because she’s not paying attention and she tries to get a 5 year old to hide that so she won’t be in trouble.) Because if you are amoral to sleep with a vulnerable minor, you are amoral scum game for most anything. I am so happy she was one of the body count.

7. And Caro finally breaks up with Ivan for good. I am happy she actually did the right thing (break up with current bf before trying to get a new one) but the irony of her doing it right when Marcos x Amelia mess starts (unknowingly to her.) It always made so much sense it was Caro who broke it off because Ivan was incapable of leaving since he knew what it felt like to be left. (And Ivan thinks he gets proof, once again, that he’s not enough and he’s the one who is destined to get left.) He does not love her any longer (if he ever did and it wasn’t desperation and dependency) but he can’t admit it even to himself.

You know what gets me? She reaches out to him to comfort for the very hurt she inflicted and he tells her “you cannot touch me ever again” and oooooof!!!!! And she starts bawling and he tells her to please not to cry...and I never shipped them but my heart broke for their hurt here, even if was never a grand love.

8. Julia!!!! Her taking up with her creep of a stepfather and resentment of her mother makes so much sense now - seeing the ghost of her father at the funeral (the trauma must have triggered her medium abilities) and trying to pass the message he gave to her mother but being disbelieved and treated as insane and even being committed - this story’s main characters all get disbelieved for one reason or another and it scars them (and ooof, it places Ivan’s future trust in her ability even tho he can never see any of that stuff himself into stark relief - her word is enough for him to walk into a nuclear reactor and keep walking even tho he’s facing a gun point blank, for example!)

Tell you what, what they did to my beloved Marwa is problematic af because it's 2022 and it's not possible that female characters are still treated like this.

Anyway... I still hope that they will bring her back somehow since the character is so universally loved!

That said, the rest of the ep felt normal to me. We're in the part of the story where everything is bad (Nadja's club is failing, baby Colin is not so much a baby which means that at some point Laszlo will have to deal with Colin's death, Nandor is at his worst and really close to lose Guillermo; Guillermo got his first heartbreak) so it made sense to me.

And Freddie falling in love with Freddie was brilliant...

About Nandermo: I'm sorry but Nandor's reaction to Freddie is the most in character reaction ever. He met Guillermo's bf, he felt something akin to jealousy but since he still can't cope with his felling for G, he decided that it was about wanting Freddie and did the most idiotic thing he could do.

Speculating about couples is fun and all but honestly most of the time people come up with ideas that are completely ooc and out of the logic of television and than get upset over nothing. Or maybe I'm just used to the cw destroying my otps in the worst way possible (bellarke and dair, my beloved) so my idea of bad has shifted 🤣 Who knows? 🤷‍♀️

Maybe that part with Luna earlier was actual foreshadowing? Like this is all CONSPIRACY THEORY shit, but the more I think about it the more I fear it may be true.

Going off of that idea, its not unfounded since therapists and mental health professionals themselves are only human too. They’d be vulnerable to human biases and errors. I recall after some brief research into paranoid delusions, that one patient a therapist had actually managed to convince the therapist what was happening to them was real. It was only a discussion with another therapist that brought them back to reality.

So Solstice could be a true and valid counselor, but he could also be a bad counselor. Bad evil. Which would technically also make him bad-sucky.

You’re allowed to go to different therapists to find one that suits you. But in a school, well... it’s free, and principal-seduced approved, and it’s right there. AND IT’S A MAGIC-SPECIALIZED SERVICE, uniquely suited to the needs of the school. It’s a recipe for disaster. Who knows if even Sunset herself is potentially affected by the Umbrum and doesn’t know it?

do you even know HOW stressed i was about the fact that lola and eliott were gonna kiss simply because i knew that ppl would go out of their way to hate her for that reason alone?? even before the clip dropped ppl were making their mental gymnastics to come up with theories like "lola is gonna kiss eliott out of sudden to make maya jealous and the kiss is unscripted and all of this isn't eliott's fault" like??can you please just THINK for a few minutes😭 and like. i have so many regrets in life but calling lucas out for having been an asshole ever since s5 and saying stuff like "go destroy yourself on your own" or "alexia is out friend but ur our bro so ofc we will dumb her on her concert" ain't one of them. like SHUT UP for real🙄🙄

Even though it’s been a year of being Tony Stark’s boyfriend, Peter still feels dizzy with admiration of how handsome his lover is, sharply dressed in an immaculate full-black suit and the midnight blue tie Peter helped pick out this morning.

He didn’t look too shabby himself with the crispness of his suit and the perfect tailoring Tony insisted on. Normally he would’ve complained, Peter already had a perfectly fine suit and he didn’t need Tony to spend even more money on him, but tonight was special. He wanted to look good for their anniversary, perfect for Tony.

Tony placed his arms around Peter, leaning closer to him. The softness and the gentle touch against his neck, made Peter’s back tingle. Whenever they were close like this his thoughts would usually stop as if his heart took over from his head. However, one thought seemed to remain tonight.

“You haven’t kissed me in like five whole minutes. It’s really upsetting.”

“Is that so, baby?” Tony smirked in a smug kind of way. “Let me make it up to you.” He gently leaned in, brushing his lips against Peter’s. Not innocently, like a tease but hot, fiery, passionate and demanding. Then he fully kissed him and the world fell away. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. Tony’s hand rested below Peter’s ear, his thumb caressing his cheek as their breaths mingled.

“M-much better.” He could feel the heat growing in his cheeks. By now they must be beyond an attractive rosiness. Peter had that kind of smile on his face that couldn’t hide the love that warmed him from within. It was a little silly how badly a simple kiss from Tony still affected him, how responsive he was to him.

It just felt so great to be loved. They were so relaxed in each other’s company, so caring. Their love for one another radiated from them. “That’s what I thought.” Tony winked at him, pulling his lover closer. His embrace was warm, and his big, strong arms seemed very protective when wrapped around the younger’s frail body. This was nice, perfect even, and he never wanted the moment to end. But then it did.

“Oh my gosh, Tony! Is that you? I can’t believe it!”

Peter really didn’t think he was the jealous type. That is until he sees the woman walking up to his boyfriend, acting as if Peter is nothing but mere air around them.

She was like all those models in the magazines, after they had been airbrushed of all the imperfections. Her butter colored hair fell perfectly around her shoulders, and she had the deepest blue eyes that could intimate even the strongest of men. Peter couldn’t help hating her, and that was before the introductions.

“Ah, Stacey. It’s been a while. Uh... Peter this is my old friend Stacey, Stacey this is Peter.” Tony pointed between the two of them, introducing them to one another.

“Oh please, Tony, we were more than friends, weren’t we?” She winked at him, completely ignoring Peter’s existence. And if Peter starts to see red when the long-haired blonde not so surreptitiously touches her hand on Tony’s arm, well, he has every reason to. This woman is blatantly flirting with his Tony, and that’s not okay. God, and that dress, the neckline of her shimmering gold gown dipped dangerously low, showing off her considerable assets. Peter nearly growled watching her.

He knew he should be used to it by now. Of course people would show an interest in Tony, who could blame them? An attractive, intelligent, billionaire who also happened to be a first class superhero. Peter got that, truly.

But he just really, really didn’t like it.

He didn’t want to cause a scene though, doesn’t want to wrap his fingers around her throat and use his super strength to make her eyes bulge out, definitely not, even though it would be very satisfying. Instead he tries to act mature, put on his big boy pants and show this blatantly transparent woman who Tony really belongs to.

“Hi, nice to meet you. I’m Tony’s boyfriend, Peter.” He then rested his arm on the back of Tony’s chair, brushing his fingers on Tony’s arm, just to let her know he wasn’t on the menu tonight. Tony was taken.

She scoffs, af if addressing her was the most offensive thing Peter could’ve done, and doesn’t waste any time in turning back to Tony. She flicks that butter blonde hair to one side in what he knows is a conscious act, Tony must see it too, right? Dangling from her perfect lobes are diamonds set in white gold. They are exquisite, accentuating the length of her neck. They probably cost more than most people make in a month. He realizes that he has held his gaze too long when her face turns into one of triumph.

She’d gaze through her overly made-up eyes with her cloying vapidity and laugh at anything Tony said, even if it wasn’t funny. She had a constant case of bedroom eyes and it was pissing Peter off.

“Hey, back off, Barbie,” Peter thought and caught himself. Whoa, where had that come from? He didn’t have time to question himself, for Tony looked over Blondie’s shoulder and smiled at him.

He knew Tony was only being polite. He never flirted back and it even seemed like he felt awkward, with the amount of times he coughed and cleared his throat, Peter was starting to think he had the flu.

Yet, that knowledge didn’t keep the green eyed monster at bay when her hands returned on his boyfriend, this time landing on his chest.

He narrowed his eyes into slits. Realizing he was holding his flute of champagne so tightly that it was in danger of shattering, he instead brought it to his lips and downed it all with one swallow before beckoning the waiter for another drink.

At her wandering hands, Tony’s usually fond expression completely disappeared into a much harder one. His brown eyes looking over Stacey with irritation. Yet, he still doesn’t say anything.

Peter - and perhaps the glasses of champagne had something to do with it - does though. “Okay enough is enough. The time for being polite is over cause clearly you don’t recognize a no when it’s waving in front of your face. He’s not interested in you. I know you miss him with the kind of sadness that sinks your bones into the earth, and I know you’d do anything to get him back, I get that. I would too if I lost a man like him. But, sweetheart, you were nothing but entertainment, something pretty on his arm, a little bit of eye candy maybe. If you really want to pleasure him, make him happy,” he stands up, getting in her face, “then leave.” Even Peter himself recoils a little from the venom in his voice. And clearly she does too because with a heated glare, she walks away, to the sound of Tony snickering.

“You do realize that I’ve already patented the right to be the emotionally unstable, immature and insecure one in this relationship, right? Do I need to call my lawyers and start a law suit? cause I won’t have you coming for my title.” He grinned, clearly seeing the amusement in this situation.

“Ha, very funny, Tony. You know, you could’ve said something right? Then maybe I wouldn’t have had to lose my cool and look like the crazy obsessed boyfriend.” He rolled his eyes at Tony.

“Let them think what they want,” he turns with that serious look that still has his trademark warm eyes. There was something in those brown eyes that was so beautiful, so safe and warm. In just one look he was home, “so long as you’re by my side, love, the rest of the world can go fuck themselves.” And that’s just what Peter needed to hear, that he’s Tony’s for now and into the future... that there will be a future. Cause all thoughts have the potential to grow toxic, but insecurities are born hungry.

“I’m sorry I really didn’t mean to get so intense.” Peter spoke softly. Tony shook his head. “Don't be, you're adorable when you're jealous," he teases, his voice drops to a huskier tone as he adds, "and I'll make it all up to you later tonight, baby."

Peter gulps loudly, pupils dilating already. “Promise?” He whispers. Tony wraps an arm around his shoulders and pulled him close, gently rubbing. Despite the heaviness in his stomach, Peter fluttered at the feeling of his body pressed against Tony’s. It almost felt like holding him wasn’t quite enough. Peter had to feel every once that he is press into every ounce that is Tony. “I promise.” He whispers back just as quietly, kissing the top of Peter’s head.
