He has quite a few people that he looks up to. Most obviously is his mother and father, who have quite a bit of influence over his life. But in a much more happy way, he really looks up to his sister Elaine for advice and decisions. His cousin Luca and his best friend Briar are also great for checking him when he's making stupid decisions and Atticus realizes they usually know better than he does.

Origin: (WIP) His father was a god of Knowledge and Death and served as Herald to Oz. When delivering a message he was beset upon by the minions of Salem and fled, wounded, to an Academy where he thought she might not look. It was there he met Bartholomew’s mother, who helped him recover. Once recovered he left back to his duty, leaving Pearl behind pregnant with Barty.

He was raised in the academy with a deep love of reading and learning. He was hyperactive, filled with wanderlust, but kept to his duties to his home and family. He could often be found outside among the flowers, watching hummingbirds dart to and fro, or lurking in the shady, quiet corners reading. He was quick to pick up anything taught to him, and prone to bursts of insight and ingenuity, perpetuating many inventions to make life easier (if more chaotic). His passions were in both learning and teaching, as well as discovery. While he was never especially popular, due to what the locals considered ‘suspicious origins,’ he worked hard for his place even as an outcast.

While at the academy he was also taught the basics of combat. His mother feared the people who had hurt his father might discover him one day and wanted him to be prepared to defend himself. She had always intended to tell him of his true parentage when she thought the time was right, but war came to their city. The enemy burned and razed it to the ground. Barty fought to save the Academy and the innocents within, holding the advance as long as he could with his ingenuity and dedication, but eventually he was felled by an arrow in his beloved gardens, now ravaged with fire. 

His father, seeing what happened, elevated Barty to the status of a lesser diety, granting him a boon of immortality and dominion over the values he had in life.

Followers: Academics, monks, warriors with a leaning to knowledge all might leave a token for him. While he is not as well known as others, and indeed has no great temples to his name, his worship comes in small altars in places of learning or in sunny gardens, as well as raised in memory to places lost by war destined to have their history washed away, in hopes that he might come and preserve what’s left behind.

Name/Gemstone: Charoite, a glossy purple gemstone that “reduces stress” and “has great healing properties” according to a few websites I found.

Appearance: Different shades of light and dark purple. Wears Soldan’s outfit but with a purple star instead of the zodiac symbol. Four arms. Soldan’s “Gem” is located on her right cheek.

Personality: Charoite combines Garnet’s leadership and future vision with Soldan’s free spirit and snake like qualities to make a charismatic fusion with some odd, charming quirks. When pushed too far she tends to go feral like Soldan rather than defuse, but other than that her components compliment each other well!

Weapon: Garnet’s gauntlets with Soldan’s knives on top of them, effectively making a sort of Wolverine type claw.

Stability of the Fusion: Quite strong on most days! On the occasion either is having a bad day or having mixed thoughts they might not be able to sync up as quickly but Charoite comes into being eventually!

Height: About a head higher than Garnet.

As of right now, it is up for debate. There are five candidates for her stone type: Amethyst, Lepidolite, Charoite, Betrandite, or Rainbow Fluorite. All fit equally well but the amethyst option is slowly being weened off in favour of one of the other four stone types.

DEITY OF: Justice. For whatever cause where a person is wrongfully punished, Musashi is called upon to make rights. Said to be an inscrupulous deity, he has a no nonsense attitude and whenever thunderstorms happen on the days of public trials, it is believed he is angry with the judge.
