I was in Nashville for a business trip and took this picture of Captain Tom Ryman near the Ryman Auditorium (the original Grand Ole Opry).

My Business Colleagues included an East Tennessee native and several country music fans, I think they got a lot more out of this trip than I did. We accomplished more sight-seeing than I expected—it's not like I came here for fun. Of course I'm more interested in a riverboat captain statue than barhopping! I also enjoyed seeing the Cumberland River on the few times we drove over it, still a working waterfront.

This was the main reason we were going to New York; my sister really loves Back to the Future, and really wanted to see the musical. It was an absolute blast, and the effects were amazing! I really enjoyed some of the comedic moments with Doc and Marty (it kinda felt like they were trying to make each other laugh and I loved it, lol),

As I was typing this, my sister informed me that they’re going to close it down in January because the show isn’t making enough money to offset the cost to run it. If you have the chance to see it before it closes, definitely go for it. It’s one hell of a ride!

i have a fic idea if i ever get around to it i want to start soon where it's zukka modern au where they decide to take really long road trip before sokka has to go back home and it's supposed to be a fun last hurrah but it's tinged by the fact that they both want to confess but it's too late

(aka long drives on the endless road where you really start to think about what you want in life and what you want is the person next to you and you just can't have it.)

and also accidentally getting high on cactus juice because they got lost and sokka thought hey, i'm an outdoorsman, i totally got this (he doesn't have this)
