So this album came out in 1976. It still stands up after all this time. I'm sitting in Powder Hollow Brewery in South Deerfield, MA enjoying a beer, and "boys are back in town" came on. I just love how music can hold on and sustain over time.

Music can soothe my soul and my life without music would be very dull. We are all touched by music and I know no one who doesn't like it. We might not have the same tastes in music and that is totally all right. We don't have to like the same things. Music will bring us together regardless of what our personal beliefs are, our political leanings, or religion. We all enjoy music. So my wish for each of you today is that you find some music that moves you and soothes your soul so that you can have a great day.

Music can bring us together but for me, first and foremost, it soothes my soul. When I need to work through something or really feel an emotion I turn to music.  There are times when you need to derail your mind from taking wrong turns, music can help with that. Completely avoiding an issue is bad, but there are times when you should stop yourself from going down dark paths. Music is a balm and great way to find some peace in yourself. So my wish for each of you today is that you have some music that will soothe your soul and give you some happiness.
