2017 Review !

We did a lovely pick-up for you, 10 songs, in order to remember new releases that inspire us a lot and that we heard it during the year..this is a not ordered list and it does not pretend to be the best music on the world ;) we hope you will love it :

We were at filming of the promotional video clip: Le monde danse and we are into the video clip ! They did launched this beautiful album on spring 2017, they had an excellent year playing here and there !

We saw them twice this summer at Montreal Jazz Festival, first in an inside and non-free show before Thievery Corporation; and, secondly we saw them in an outside-free show (Jazz Fest also). Curiously, after the outside-free show, we talked to Otura Mun, the leader of the band, how gave us a couple of CD for our show :) ...a nice souvenir with Django Doucet !

Starting the spring, we were at the launching of this excellent album ! Maritza is lead by Maritza, a Montrealer originally coming from Republica Dominicana, who write, compose, sing and is the leader of her band, no more, no less...
