To give you a short while to relax, let me tell you a story on how I got into the deep deep deep rabbit hole of fucked up romantic fiction 😀

So I loved to read story books when I was around 4-5th grade. I was good with my english for a country that doesn't speak it much (philippines) and joined several writing and reading contests and spelling bees.

But all the books I read with thin and colorful and had pictures, I wanted something large and thick(lmao) and tons of complicated words to practice with. And my grandma at the time had her own little library in her house and she would give me access on tons of books, she didn't say anything about me reading murder mysteries and horror genres... But what intrigued me, was this one book.

I forgot what the title was but it had a mature warning in it with sexual and horror themes. I was so fucking innoncent at that time cause i didnt know what the word sexual meant and at this age my mind could visualize shit better than other kids *cough* maladaptive daydreaming *cough*

The plotline was about a female detective in the 1950s and when solving for a case she always senses someone was following her and thinks it was the suspect of the crime she was trying to find answers to. It wasn't the suspect unfortunately, but a stalker who yanks his meat whenever he hears the detectives voice on the radio.

And OH MY GOD. Something horrible sparked in me. It was two things, one, gay awakening cause the detective was a total girlboss, and second, my obsession with problematic men. I couldnt understand the hanky panky scenes BUT THE WHISPERING AND THE TENSION BETWEEN THESE TWO OUTSIDE THE HANKY PANKY MY GOD

I read that for two years until I discovered yanderes, otome sims, fanfiction.net, wattpad and ao3 but durring those years i had forgotten about the book's title.

And i wanted to find it but unfortunately grandma passed away due to old age in 2020 and her house was in a custody battle between my dad and aunt because grandma never put who would inherit the house in her will. Just divided some fortune between children and grandchildren.

It was also in the will that I would get all of her books (and her amoire that I used to play dress up in and various handbags which was very slay because she had taste 💅) but it wasnt all of the books.

I knew because she had more than two boxes worth of it. She had a bigger collection than any of her friends and coworkers back in the 1960s, her mini library was filled to the brim with books, not a shelf with a single crevice,but all I recieved were 57 books. Her murder mysteries and erotic novels but I never found the one that got me into the rabbit hole..

First off, I love how your grandma nutured your love for reading. My mom did the same for awhile until I had books like fucking everywhere in my room. Though I find a little odd, she would let you read a book like that 👀 or maybe she didn't know, and that's why you didn't get it as an adult?? I kinda wanna know now lol

Also, I didn't get into creepy stuff till I was in my teens (I'm calling myself out and saying creepypasta oop). Like legit when I was younger, my mom put on 1968 Night of the Living Dead movie on me and my brothers request claiming "we were old enough." I stayed up all night that night watching outside my widow cause I knew for SURE zombies were gonna rise at any moment. I also could not listen to any metal music....I was a very scared kid....

I didn't get into erotic literature until I was sixteen or so. I can't think of an incident that stands out because, really, I didn't know anything and just read basic shit. If it had extra tags of kinks and shit I didn't read it.

I thought I would share a bit of myself since you were nice enough to share about yourself, but I would like to hear about this book! Maybe it will give me some inspiration 💕

A head rolls and a body drops.

Well, that was pathetic.

Abayomi can do nothing but stare at the lifeless body, his breath shallow and quick. He tries to reach out, but his bleeding arm falls limp at his side.

Clown tilts his head, his eyes flickering to Pharaoh and then to Abayomi, before seeming to realize something and cackle.

So THAT's why he got in the way, huh?! I just thought he was some random idiot who thought he could be a hero, honestly.. I mean, I suppose its a noble gesture..

It's a shame he didn't stand a chance.

Clown watches as Abayomi tries to stand before falling back down, not even able to shout anymore, only able to cry.

Abayomi's vision was blurry and spinning as blood pooled around him, and he could feel his heartbeat in his throat.

He knew that nobody was going to help him now.

He knew that he was not going to survive.

He knew that it was his fault that Pharaoh did not.

Don't look so sad! At least you didn't get killed as fast as Caleb and your companion did. Dare I say- [Clown struggles to get out the last bit through giggles.] you even put up a- eheh- decent fight!

His laughter eventually dies down, turning into a quiet grin.

Unfortunately, your life ends here.

Author!Shadow has a hard time sleeping because his mind won't stop thinking about what he's writing. Once he starts snuggling up with Sonic to read the books together Sonic's presence helps him calm down and he starts falling asleep during it. At first Sonic worries it's because Shadow finds his obsession boring but Shadow keeps coming back to do it and it becomes a beloved bedtime routine for them both. It also helps Sonic pace his reading which is good because he easily gets so engrossed he forgets to take care of himself.

Ohhhhh…. My heart is smiling❤️🥹❤️

And then Shadow has a 3AM thought and exclaims, “I NEED A PEN” and falls out of bed to scribble something down on a sticky note before going back to sleep again.

Do you have any headcanons for murder trio sexualities and or genders?

hmmm hmm ngl in my head the genders for the trio doesn't matter. like to me they're just living skeletons. a bunch of agender little shits and besides to me the gender doesn't matter much in their stories nor in the stories i imagine in my head or in any of my interpretations so unless otherwise specified (like in jk fashion au. theyre girls there solely because i love women and i want my trio to wear cute clothes that they wouldn't canonically wear. theres just a sweet charm to girls wearing cute clothes loving and laughing with other fellow girls. jk fashion au my beloved) theyre just a bunch of skeleton freaks. they COULD use any pronouns but i only use he him for all three because of sheer convinence. the trio would use any pronouns wear any sort of clothes and do whatever the fuck they want with gender and i would support them like the worlds biggest ally because i simply love them so

amd then sexuality uhhhh i think horror would be bi. because i saw that one horrortale wedding soriel art and even though i dont quite care for soriel SAS art is SAS art. so bi horror it is. also i dont think he'd give two flying fucks about romance and stuff like that. he simply would not look at dust and be like "let's go on a date beautiful". because he just wouldn't thats not who he is. horror would instead drag dust to a shooting range with no warning and they do that with no mentions of it being a date. thats what makes more sense to me. and with the way that his body is probably totally brittle and frail and SOMEHOW skinny for a skeleton (??????) he'd probably take a long ass time to ever warm up to someone to do the do. demisexual because i said so. dust on the other hand is the reverse for me. there is NO WAY in my head i can imagine dust looking at like killer or something (and not just because he hates him) and think smash. he just absolutely would never never never never dust is a hardcore asexual. HARD(like me)core ace. and then like horror with all his bullshit insecurities and fears and mental issues he'd take a long time to ever accept romance from anyone or be romantically interested in anyone. all of the mtt on the ace spectrum because i said so. and killer? you just be killer. just kidding i dont think he would give a shit either way. killer is the most neutral neutral when it comes to romance or intimacy since like. neither of them provide ANYTHING for him. there is no point to him. he just goes with the flow of whatever horror and dust want because he's a follower like that (LOSER!!!!)

anyways my opinions on this topic have not changed in forever. all sanses ngl are agender to me (unless gender plays a big role in their lore or something but i dont think stuff like that does in any of the majorly popular ones) and i blast the mtt with the aroace ray because i can and because i want to and because i feel like they would. all my opinions on this can literally just be taken from the top 1/4 of this one ship chart i filled out like a month or two ago
