You seem to be very interested in documentaries, I wish I liked documentaries like that too, but the only ones I saw were totally focused on marine biology or something specific astronomical. Are you enjoying the documentary you're watching?
ohh have you seen "Life on Our Planet" on Netflix? I've rewatched it at least 8 times.
The only thing I like about Netflix are their documentaries about true crime like the Boston marathon bomber, the Murdaugh murders, Night stalker, Untold series, catching killers, 9/11, the challenger, ones about Natural disasters like Whakaari, documentaries about the universe, space and earth's evolution, you know, with the prehistoric events like dinosaurs, the end of them, marine life, and how it got to this point, etc etc and much more. There's so many— that's what I really like about Netflix, it never gets boring. I can't watch regular series/movies. Uninteresting
so far I like the documentaries I'm watching, but there are a few boring ones that are just really horribly narrated and structured and I can't listen to them.

WARNING! If you are under 18 or can't stomach sensitive subjects like abuse and/or gr00ming, please don't read further unless you already heard about this case. If you already did hear that you came from Tennessee or came from the same school this was happening at, please read this!
Back on July 20, 2020, Grant Solomon was a victim of a suspicious death getting run over by his truck. The only witness, Grant's father, is a TERRIBLE man and his father may be responsible for what happened to Grant. Grant's father has been accused of abusing his sister and mom but struggling to be believed because of a possible Big Boys group protecting their images. Even if it means backstabbing their own families. So the levels of the Murdaugh Family Murders. True Crime Youtube channels like Kendall Rae have posted a video (the video below) about this case with interviews from Grant's mother, sister, and girlfriend to spread the word and urge everyone with a Twitter, Facebook, or any social media account who watches the video to help whatever they can. Sign petitions, donate, and if you have Twitter, post this response.
So why I'm I posting this? I am requesting fandoms of all shapes and sizes to come together under the tags like #JusticeForGrant, but with two new ones called #FandomsForGrant and #FandomsForGracie. You could be a horror movie/game lover, a mystery movie/game lover, or you like reading good mystery books, or you are a baseball player/fan like Grant, etc. One post, reblog, a video/video story, and so much more that would take all day to write can spread Grant and Gracie's story like wildfires. If you reblog this post, tag all the fandoms you want to alert to create sparks of hope to get everyone to hear Grant and Gracie's story. Thank You for reading and please make time to watch Kendall Rae's video.

rules: tag nine people you want to know better and/or catch up with, then answer the questions below
hiiiii @kingfisherkink you tagged me in this literally a month ago and i've only just now remembered to do it but i still appreciate it <3
four ships: Truthfully, I don't do a ton of shipping these days, not for any, like, ideological reason but just because most of the things I'm really into right now (by which I mean literally my own personal D&D campaigns) don't feature that many ships. That being said, the most recent ship that absolutely did Compel Me for a hot minute involved characters from one of said games--specifically Theodora/Roxanne, who are both politicians from different warring nations and somehow managed to get married and have children in secret???? And relatedly, two completely different high-ranking officials from opposite sides (namely the president of one country and the right hand to the king of the other) might also have a thing?! The gays are wild. For others, uhhhhh, let's go with Rue/Wuvvy from ACOFAF, and to pay respect to my roots and because I am still genuinely so fond of them, Hurloane from TAZ.
last song: "Bruno Is Orange" by Hop Along/Queen Ansleis. From my angsty rogue's playlist, natch, but also I've absolutely loved that song for years.
currently reading: Most pressingly, Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis, which I bought yesterday and am already halfway through because I'm loving it so much. It's an excellent retelling of the myth of Eros and Psyche and truthfully, it'll never stop being weird to me how underrated that myth is, as it's one of my favorites. Also, a couple nights ago I finished reading a short collection of essays by Mary Oliver called Upstream, which involved some very compelling literary criticism that has prompted me to read Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman, which I'm now in the middle of.
last film: Genuinely cannot remember, since I watch TV series much more frequently than movies these days. The last couple of series I finished over the weekend were Murdaugh Murders and Cunk on Earth, both on Netflix (and an absolute whiplash in terms of vibe).
craving: To be done with this meeting I have to lead tomorrow night...
Tagging: @metamagic-adept @conartisthaiji @fagdykez @bird-icon @theatricuddles @nebulousbutch @pirateknight @shyyren @thegempage (as always, only if you feel like it)

Depression is stupid. Today was an amazing day, even perfect. Nothing went wrong, there were no disasters (which is always a good day on a farm), all the animals behaved fairly well, we even got rid of the unwanted house guest. It was mom's birthday, and I suck at gifts, so to compensate I baked and cooked for her and we hung out and watched the Murdaugh Murders movies...
Okay, by the way, I watch true crime based movies adn documentaries all the time, but this was the first time that I've watched one that I actually watched as it happened too. I'm from the lowcountry, I've been to the courthouse the trial took place at (like, before the trial, I mean, for different reasons), I even went to the jail he was held at during the trial (again, I went before the trial started, but he was there before the trial too (by the way, I was just there to get fingerprints done for some legal stuff I swear I'm not a criminal!)). I watched the entire trial, every day, live, as it went on. I read all the news articles (okay, probably not all, I doubt that's even a physical posibility there's so many). Like, I know this case, I have followed this case, so to see it presented in movie form like that was kinda trippy but also awesome. It gave me new insight into how these true-crime based movies are made, which was fascinating. And Lifetime's casting department, I've always thought they're amazing but holy crap. The casting of this movie was absolutely insane. The actor who played Alek Murdaugh himself was eerie. There were many moments throughout the movie that I seriously forgot I was watching a movie, I thought I was watching body cam or court footage again, that's how much he looked absolutely exactly like Aleks Murdaugh and captured his expressions an mannerisms so flawlessly, it was crazy.
Good lords, this post went way off the rails. I'm going to go read before I end up fall headfirst down this rabbit hole, ya'll don't even understand how I could go on about the Murdaugh scandals.
