Invited to the wedding of work colleague Sonali Patel at a large Hindu Church in Bellingham, Washington, Christina Hogan decided to take her daughter Madison as her plus one.

What she didn’t know was that the site was named after a demon who always lied unless forced to tell the truth while trapped in a magic circle, at which point it told the truth, but in such a way to mess with you as much as it could. This, in fact, was the case. Furfur had been trapped in just such a circle by a group of nerds who placed him in it with a computer and an internet connection in a try to rival the big boys.

Furfur sent the Hogan women to a small clothing shop called Nīṅkaḷ aṇivatu nīṅkaḷtāṉ (You Are What You Wear); who were trying to do their best to grow a clientele for India-style dress but were finding it hard in a city like Bellingham, Washington. Fortunately or unfortunately, as opinion varies, the shop also made use of Furfur, which was seen to it that they got a shipment (stolen, but they didn’t know that) of what should have been hidden experimental “gene altering” cloth from a lab in Mumbai called by them Karmāviṉ iḻaikaḷ or Threads of Karma.

And so, Christina and Madison went to You Are What You Wear, where they were both attired and instructed on proper etiquette for a Hindu wedding.

Frankly, the pair did rather stand out.

However, by the end of the as usual long Hindu wedding ceremony, they were no longer so noticeable since at some point, the sarees made from Karmāviṉ iḻaikaḷ cloth had turned them into Chandirka and Madhuri Hogan, two women from Delhi.

“Oh my goodness me!” said the former Christina on returning to their home and finding herself and her daughter so transformed. “what is your father going to say when he returns from his business trip?”

The hotel will be equipped with state-of-art amenities, right from a cafeteria and a gym to a huge swimming pool.

The hotel will reportedly be constructed under the name of Salman's mother, Salma Khan.

According to a report in Times of India, the plot where the hotel is being constructed once housed a residential building named Starlet CHS, in which the Khans had purchased several apartments.

Located at Carter Road in Bandra, the plot is a prime, sea-facing property, and a hotel there would sure attract hoards of customers.

The report stated that the proposal to build a hotel on the plot was submitted by the Khan-daan a year ago, and as per official papers, Salman's mother, Salma Khan, is the owner of the property.

As per the report, Khans' architect, Sapre & Associates, submitted a plan to authorities for a commercial building with a height of 69.90 metres which will be centrally air-conditioned.

The report also revealed that out of the 19 floors, the first and second floors will be occupied by a cafe and a restaurant, while the third floor has been reserved for a swanky gym and a swimming pool. The fourth floor will be used a service floor, and the fifth and sixth floors will house a convention centre.

From 7th to 19th floor, the building has been reserved for hotel use. Not just that, but there will also be a three-level basement at the property.

The actor and his family are yet to give out an official statement yet.

According to officials, the train was scheduled to proceed towards Panvel station on the Diva-Panvel railway line, which is commonly used by trains bound for Konkan. The Railway officials are investigating the cause of the technical snag and are working to prevent such incidents in the future.The delayed Vande Bharat express train finally resumed its journey to Goa, but the 90-minute delay caused inconvenience to passengers who were looking forward to a timely arrival at their destination.Central Railway chief PRO Swapnil Nila said the incident occurred due to the failure of the signalling and telecommunications system at point number 103, between the down fast line and the 5th line at Diva junction, from where trains heading towards Konkan proceed to Panvel station on the regular route.After the train deviated from its charted course, it moved to Kalyan station and reversed to Diva junction, from where it resumed its onward journey to Madgaon on the Diva-Panavel route, officials said.Nila said the train was detained at Diva junction for about 35 minutes from 6:10 AM to 6:45 AM before proceeding towards Kalyan."The train reached platform number six at Kalyan station around 7:04 AM via the 5th line. It was reversed to Diva station via the 6th line at 7:13 AM," Nila said.The premium CSMT-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express train, launched in June 2023, departs from CSMT (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus) in Mumbai at 5:25 AM and reaches Madgaon in Goa at 1:10 PM on the same day.Railway officials said such incidents occur rarely on the Mumbai suburban automatic signalling system.  [ad_2] Source link
