Liking electronic music is so embarrassing sometimes because your partner will ask you what's on your mind and you'll say I have a song stuck in my head and she'll say what song and you'll say mt st michel + saint michaels mount by aphex twin and she'll pull it up on youtube and it's a frantic tumble of harsh synth drums interleaved with soft melody until they are chopped together like a salad at the end and then your partner nods like she's completed a chore to her satisfaction and looks up a podcast for you to listen to together

It's not complete yet as I have a few lots I want to remodel, which I will be posting on this blog with the Behind The Scenes tag. I want to tweak all the lots in the Downtown hood, but some will have bigger updates than others.

Summer 2023

Been a while since I have said anything about what's going on in my life. Well, I passed all my PhD course work and presented in S Korea this summer. Got to visit the beautiful Jeju Island, as seen in Extraordinary Attorney Woo! Then went skydiving over the Mt St Michel with my wonderful partner in France. Recently submitted an article to a language and linguistics zine and got accepted. Went out to gather more data for my PhD project last week and more such opportunities to come in the next month or so... Yet to publish in an academic article. PhD requires 3 article submissions by May 2025. That will be my focus for this year!
