Yes! Like a west world/Wandavision bubble of a time loop where for some reason he either locked himself in that time loop from just some emotional struggle or some other speedster is using his connection to the speedforce to do it without him knowing. It really does look scary from the outside because it’s a big scifi bubble of speed force energy in which you can barely see inside and if you get too close you get trapped in it. I always kind of thought in this AU some kind of emotional catalyst would have needed to happen to get to this point though like a fight between Wally and Dick, or Wally just feeling inadequate or slow, etc, something that would make him say “I want to rewind this day and do it over” as a monkey paw statement. Honestly, my hc that helps me sleep at night is that it wasn’t a school chemistry kit that blew up his garage and gave him his power, Wally still got hit with lightning and his powers have just been weird because they (like in the comics) have everything to do with his mental state. Oh and like, the dark comedy aspect would like have to be a thing in this death day AU, like no contest right? Like Wally would die like a video game character which like ouch and oh NO! But also it seems to really be getting to him after a while and in the end the superhero doctor is like “Mr.flash your side kick is showing signs of having been stabbed, crushed, electrocuted, cut, and should not be alive and yet here he is. I have no idea how to medically classify this.” Ontop of having no clue who started the whole time loop as Wally would be probably unaware he was the cause or maybe doesn’t want to believe he is the cause.

Even if Linda and Wally don’t kiss in this AU, I do love the idea of Wally and Linda hugging as all the glass falls around them like that scene of Carter and Tree…even if Wally’s pretty beat up at the time (at least they are already in a hospital…)

but YESSSS no bc his powers being tied to his emotions could be like. ok so since this is a death day au he like gets really badly hurt or injured and the wound ends up being fatal and he's like all alone and he can't heal fast enough and he says like "i wish i had more time" or "i need more time" or something like that and the speedforce is like "oh fr? ok king <3" (not actually but u get what i mean) but then he gets trapped in this huge timeloop thing and he's like "fuck ok be careful what you wish for" and yyyyeah he has to do that fight over and over until he figures out like idk. some cheesy wisdom about believing in yourself and that's how he's able to tap into the full extent of his powers (because he's super powerful in the comics and i feel as though in other iterations of his character he's nerfed down like in yj or the cw flash show)

AND YES THAT TREE AND CARTER SCENE FUCKKSUHAIUPFHEUAHWFIUEDIJF i need to rewatch this movie!!!! damn!!!!
