in a Egyptian Pokémon region, the starters would be based on a snake, (the fire starter) a crane, (the grass starter) and a hippo. (The water starter) what do you think?

Oh, you mean Mr. Buddy’s “What if Egypt was a Pokémon Region” video? I’m excited for that one. I liked both the grass and the fire starter Fakémon, I think I liked the crane the best out of the three. I think Buddy is still working away on the video, and I’m anticipating the finished project.

Time to explain today’s FANbruary post. So I started watching Mr. Buddy’s videos on YouTube. He does lots of Pokemon videos, specifically ones based on “What if?” scenarios. One of which inspired today’s art! He did a video called “What If I Had an Evil Team?” Of course, I started thinking what if I had an evil team, and here is what I’d look like. Quick summary: my team (don’t have a name yet) are obsessed with people being morally right. It’s to the point we’d keep track of every single misstep someone makes and frame those we don’t like. I went with a 70s hippie aesthetic mainly because I rather like 70s fashion, it brings to mind liberal ideas (sometimes going too far), and it also brings to mind those who thought they were morally superior (i.e. any 70s protest songs). I’m not saying those people were wrong, I just thought it fit the theme for my evil team. Feel free to suggest team name ideas, and definitely check out Mr. Buddy’s videos! They’re well-thought out, have great production values, and is great Pokemon fandom fun! :D

I just found this while scrolling on Mr Buddy’s Youtube. Silver is such a depthy pokemon character omg. If you haven’t read the Pokemon Special/Adventures manga, DO IT.
