I'm mostly following tutorials as of now, but I had to try to make something for/by myself. And if course I needed it to be these two.

To me, Rusty Lake is about healing. You, riddled with trauma and pain, have a chance to be reborn. A new life, to start over.

Dale and David's relationship embodies everything I love about Rusty Lake. The hurt, the pain... Dale tried to kill David, he tried to heal himself through anger and revenge, but David was still there. So maybe Dale has to forgive him instead, allow himself to let go of the pain, and move on.

Such is life. We hurt, but we wake up every day and we keep going.

Those two mean so much to me because I want to believe in that light at the end of the tunnel. That I, broken and aching, can heal too. (Also make out with your enemy ig)

They're just itching to perform a magic trick. Rusty Lake, you just have to shave a bit of his beard and then use some makeup to make him look younger and that's David Eilander.

Laketober 2024: day 29 - crossovers (also posted on discord)

Basically, some of Rusty Lake characters as The Magnus Archives fear avatars: Albert as Agnes Montague/the desolation, mr Rabbit as Michael/Helen/The Distortion/the spiral, mr Owl as 'Elias Bouchard'/Jonah Magnus/the beholding, mr Crow as Peter Lukas/the lonely and Harvey as Melanie King/the slaughter.

Originally, these were gonna be re-designs of how I think some of Rusty Lake characters would look like if they were avatars of the fears I decided to align them with - unfortunately I did not have the time for whole ass new designs lmao
