Fuck it. Silly post time

My doodles from my class notes this + last week. I have been struggling to draw my guys on model lately so you can see some of the Struggles. go ahead, look at em. i am so human but watch me go. Anyways, these are in order from oldest to most recent (the ones I did in class today.) Trying to figure out how i want to draw them again, because it seems I can never quite do it the same way twice. Mildly frustrating, but it does leave space for silly posts like this. I hope someone else finds as much amusement in offended tynamo as I do.

AUs include spirit keeper (I've forgotten how to draw??? his hair??? which is like his most identifying feature???? don't know where THAT muscle memory went but it is GONE) and also Steady Tracks Ingo (who I have Never figured out how to draw in the first place tbh). Also pictured: an intentionally rare little ingo appearance. Also noticed I've been drawing more canon-compliant doodles than I normally do, so that's neat! Top right image (the third one) is my INSANELY botched attempt at drawing the One Move twins. Literally turbo fucked that one. look at ingo's face. Unrecognizable. Before he goes on tour, Copia gives you a Plushia. It’s meant as a sweet gesture, to keep you company and “protect you”, though he admittedly seems uncertain, given that the stuffed toy…isn’t particularly cute in the normal sense.

But you nonetheless treasure it. It’s a gift from your Co, after all. You talk to it when you can’t text or call or video chat with the real thing. You hold it as you watch movies. You fall asleep with it tucked in bed with you.

In return, it patrols your room, making sure it’s all safe and that there’s nothing and no one there who can harm you. If it sees or hears someone making fun of you for carrying it around, they can count on having a very bizarre nightmare involving a certain plush toy standing above them with a knife that night.

What a thoughtful little guy!

i just read that the times article on ballerina farm and on god...that woman is a victim 😭

#her husband saying they BOTH made sacrifices when she's the one who gave up her ballerina career (studied at JULLIARD) and all her interest #while they moved to a rural area because he wanted to they got a farm bc he wanted to they don't have a helper to look after the kids #bc he doesn't want it #like....they got married within a month of dating while she wanted to wait at least a year because he wanted to get married asap #she sometimes gets so ill from exhausted she can't get up from bed for a week....#the small barn she wanted converted a ballerina studio...became the kids' playhouse #her husband moved all her pretty clothes to the garage since there was no room with all of her kids' things #he calls them co-ceos but the only thing he does is LAUNDRY.#she's literally living my nightmare #mt

After packing the vast majority of our apartment entirely by myself, and arriving at our new place finally, I am now mostly home by myself bc my husband works 10hr shifts (4 days/week) and I lost my keys in the last minute packing flurry. There’s a whole lot that Can’t Be Done Yet for various reasons, but I want to make progress unpacking…. Decided fuck it, I’m not dumb; I can anchor my own bookshelves to the wall and start unpacking books. They’re not really the most important thing rn but at least it would start getting boxes out of the way since there’s 30 of them.

First I couldn’t figure out why the stud finder wouldn’t turn on— the batteries had been taken out of it.

Then, I couldn’t keep the screw steady enough to get it into the shelf— mostly likely I can’t put enough weight behind the drill at that particular angle.

Now I have to wait for my husband to get home so HE can anchor the bookshelves to the wall for me. Lame. :(

#just in case I would like to say that my husband is lovely #it’s not his fault I’ve had to do so much by myself this move #he wants to help but couldn’t #and he’s taken this Thursday off so we have 4 days in a row of both of us home unpacking #also he and his friends and 2 paid helpers unpacked the truck when we got here #he made me stay inside directing traffic so that I wouldn’t be doing the stairs too much

#i've had many people ask me in the DMs what could be done to help me out given the orange menace is coming back into power #the best things for me right now (I can't speak to others) is this: 1. Keep supporting my creative endeavors #no matter how little I might post or interact. Please hype me up. I need community. I need spirit to survive.#2. Help me find resources that will help myself and others. Food banks. Community meets. Passports. Finances. Mental health etc.#these are important and I don't want others feeling like sitting ducks. Even though I'm scared I want to be a solution to the problem.#I am going to be a helper in this mess cause that's who I am and I need ammo in this capacity #3. Donate so I can up my ration storage. I've been collecting food water and nonperishables and I'm trying to stock up on medication #and other basic necessities. I'm collecting as if I'm preparing to be homeless again and if I am over capacity I'm giving rations to others #I've had to make peace with the fact I can't run away. I can't move to another country as I'm broke and poor like the rest of my loved ones #4. If you have friends who are disabled or a minority or lgbtq etc. do what you can to protect them and show them that you love them #and build community #5. Share my work and that of others. Who knows if we're gonna have sites like AO3 in the future or even access to tumblr.#this is all I can think of at the moment and again I can't speak for others this is what comes to mind for myself #And I admit I'm coming from a place of the worst case scenarios #because in my mind if I imagine I'm dead or homeless etc. and work my way backward to the next worst thing before that it unravels my fear #and it gives me back my power in the situation by sitting with those fears and giving them time to speak #because in my mind if I'm already dead if I'm already homeless or at war etc. etc. then its already happened and what else is there to fear #if I've been through everything already in mind?#I'm hoping that the worst case scenarios don't transpire but I can't ignore the fact many of them could and probably will happen #in some capacity but I can control the actions I take through prep and facing these fears one by one #and most importantly sticking to routine by making sure im healthy to help people #anyway this is why ive been quiet for a while besides for spending time with friends and loved ones recently to get over what happened #im going to keep going to my classes keep helping people through my jobs try to be creative when I have spoons and little by little #make sure I have enough of what I need to get through the storm and outlive the bastards in power #I'm not sure what sort of pink variant to assign this to but its along the magenta spectrum #love you guys #we'll get through this

Finally had some social energy today and spent the evening hanging out with my roommates. We introduced my 57 years old roomie to YouTube (that you can play any song you can think of - he was fascinated). His 20€ TV is loud enough to make music at a club and my left ear is somewhat deaf now because I sat right next to it but it was worth it lol

Sewing update:

Yesterday I waited until the spouse person was home because I needed help fitting my mock up corset. After the fitting we decided to take the entire pattern down a size and just the hip pieces down another size. Instead of cutting out all new pieces I adjusted the ones I had! But that means I had to unpick the mockup and draw new seam lines and then sew it back together again. I left the two back panels together so I didn't have to unlace them. Got all the new seam lines traced and almost all of the left side together last night before passing out. (Only had 5 hours sleep yesterday) I have a whole nights sleep this morning, tea and a plan! I'm gonna see how far I get today!

Love when my carer (a group of regular carers from an agency) comes to help me at 12 midday and ask me questions like "are you having a good day?" And "been outside and enjoyed the sun yet?" and I'm like,,, my guy, I have literally only been awake for an hour, I've barely had a day yet, how can I have had a good day when I've only just moved past the unconscious stage

#lol its so fun to have to answer those questions #honestly i mostly just say variations of 'its been fine' and other meaningless things #having a group of regular helpers with the occasional stranger to substitute is sometimes so weird to tackle #because its like 'well obviously they can see im in a wheelchair and often resting on my couch but because they dont have to #physically move me around and i look like a healthy young adult they still dont really know what to think of me and my condition'#some of them do ask and i get to tell them about my chronic illness and 1.5 years of being bedbound which is always fun to get a reaction to #but since they only have to help me with clean up and stuff they dont really know whats going on #which is fine #its just really funny when they ask me about my day when ive barely just gotten up #dragons talk #chronic illness #chronic fatigue syndrome #disabled #disability
