Part of the reason that Republicans are so desperately acting like they will never lose again is because they are deeply terrified that this is their last real chance to win. The big orange dipshit came in and gutted the party of everyone who wasn't a loyalist, which left it full of nasty little gremlins who have gaping voids where charisma and human decency is supposed to go.
They still hold a lot of power, but if we stop them this year the next presidential election may not be the Most Important One Of Your Life™, that's not a guarantee or anything, but if they don't win here and now their future looks grim, this dipshit is the only guy they have left and he's extremely diminished and has his brains leaking out of his ears at this point. We can beat him into the ground.
So that's what we're gonna fucking do. We're gonna break these fucking fash. They will crash upon us and we're gonna break their fucking necks. When they come for us they will lose because they're fucking losers and we have each other's backs which is something they fundamentally are incapable of comprehending.

my sister's really mad at me now because i cant go to the parade but i am so Tired & Freezing && Aching
#i was looking forward to it too i wanted special cozy beverage n cookie#she didnt even seem like she wanted to go when she brought it up#i offered we could park near where the floats come out n stay in the warm car but she wants to be in with the families standing#&& i extra cant handle being looked at today#i cant handle even changing my clothes#the impact from going to the workshop is hitting today#i got stuck on the high and stayed up 24+ hrs into yesterday and now its just beating me over n over#im on the ground and its kicking my bruises#im ok as long as i stay in my bed and avoid everything irl#but thats not even an option everyone is mad at me#my mom is too because of it#they both make it sound so easy but it isnt#every movement is exhausting i feel like im going 2 collapse physically & mentally#even just writing this my face is so sore it feels bruised for no reason#and it makes me feel so extra aware of the way i look#of my meaty gross body#but ill prevail#back 2 my videyo games

Something I really especially love about btas is that every character is just… a human. Batman doesn't just show up and incapacitate 30 people no issue, he has to fight and brawl with just 1 or 2 henchmen. He can be taken out by hits and poisons and such. The rogues have to surrender when the cops get guns to their faces, and can be overpowered even by normal people. Joker isn't some pure evil incarnation of the Devil or whatever, he's just… a really bad man. Same for every other villain and character. And Bruce actually gets to show personality and emotion beyond Brooking and Grunting. He makes jokes and laughs and gets sad.
I'm really getting to understand why people call this the best Batman adaptation.
