This is mainly because most of them switched to "mobile-first" indexing over the past few years, meaning the mobile version of your blog is what counts and that one is pretty bad by default for Tumblr.
So here a few general tips on how to get your content properly indexed:
get a responsive theme, meaning that it adjusts to the reader's screen size and therefore works as both desktop and mobile version
go into the "advanced options" of your theme editor and turn the default mobile theme OFF, it will make your desktop theme also act as your mobile one
while it's important for hashtags to be visible below posts, make sure they don't show up on the main page as the clutter can make your blog being mistaken for spam
if not already, change the inside of your title HTML to {title}{block:PostSummary}: {PostSummary}{/block:PostSummary}
fill-out the "keywords" meta with what your blog features (example: "jfashion, japanese fashion, information, outfits, inspiration, articles")

where do you find your clothes???? i aspire to have a style similar to you but i’m sooo bad at fashion and have no idea where to find pieces lol
most of my wardrobe is vintage !! I’m lucky to live in a city with a bunch of good vintage stores and I try to go in them for a little nosy whenever I can because a lot of them will get new stock nearly every day,, if you can’t visit the stores often then follow them on social media (if they have it) because they’re likely posting what new stock they get in, so if you see something you want you know to make a trip to the store that day (some places will also save stuff if you dm them asking but they probably won’t save it for long, like just a few hours or until the next day) also if you’re ever visiting a different city have a quick google to see if they’ve got any good vintage stores too !!
I also find a lot of it online on depop/ebay/vinted and sometimes I’ll also get stuff from sites like asos (usually for accessories or more ‘basics’), I think you just need to figure out the right wording for what you’re looking for like,, if you’re wanting a white shirt for example you could just search that but it’ll come up with a million different things and most of it won’t be what you’re wanting, so try using keywords to describe it more (like the sleeve length and style or the collar style etc) if you get me ??
I think it’s worth mentioning too that I’ve had a lot of my clothes for a long time like,, I didn’t just do a big shopping trip and managed to find all these items in a singular vintage store one day y’know? like,, sometimes I won’t find anything I like in any store for months and other times I’ll find a couple of things or whatever,, like just take your time looking for what you want and don’t expect to find something good every time I guess,, idk if any of this was very helpful I’m sorry !!
