Move Away From Toxicity

Today's morning magic message of healing comes from the Nature's Whispers Oracle deck. I pulled the "Clear Out The Old" card. I am a big believer is annihilating old, useless, toxic stuff to open space for healthy and happy stuff. And that includes people as well. I have a friend who I used to be very close with. But in the last year or so, all she can do is complain and talk about all of the bad, negative things happening in her life. As her friend, of course, I supported and listened to her. But that negativity continued and started to really affect my energy. I had to set a boundary and move away from her unfortunately. But in doing that, I found a new friend who is lovely and brings joy into my life. Of course we all have our bad days, but I had to really clear out the old. Something to think about today.

Find Your Comfort

Today's Morning Magic message comes from the Fairy Tale Tarot. I pulled the 2 of Swords card. The fairy tale is City Mouse, Country Mouse. It's the story of a city mouse who tries to impress a country mouse in the big city where he lives. He tries to make the country mouse feel shame for her humble and what he calls "boring" lifestyle. The country mouse finds the city very dangerous and too busy for her liking and decides to go back to her country home. It's important to find your comfort my friends. Find what makes you feel cozy and safe. If someone is trying to convince you to go their way, but your instinct is warning you of danger, listen to that instinct, pay attention to the red flag. And if someone is being derisive to your choices, please just ignore them. If something makes you feel comfortable and secure, nobody else's opinions matter.

I really love this city in the morning. roosters definitely notify you that the sun is indeed preparing for the day. and the most interesting people respond. before things have opened its easier to appreciate parts of this culture that become hidden amongst the hustle and bustle - even of this generally cruisey area. flowers become more apparent, birds sing sweet fifth dimensional melodies and everyone is sweeping! I really appreciate the practice of keeping the ground clear and clean - although, there's such diversity cause there's so much rubbish everywhere! I just watched a monk with the most incredible back tattoos sweeping like a dance..I really love thai brooms! they are a consistent favourite aspect of this land..they're everywhere! the street art is also so magickal! so much expression that somehow fits inside tradition.. it's incredible
