It always make me sad that the most popular interpretation of Mori in the bsd fandom seems to be that Mori is a purely an abusive figure to Dazai because he is evil and sadistic.

No.

Mori is abusive to Dazai because he's actually really bad at caring for people (if we push aside the physical and healt aspect of caribg ofc) not because he enjoy being bad. He act regrlardless of his own emotion or the emotion of his subordonates for the "greater good" or at least a goal that he consider supperior to people's emotion.

And there's this scene in the season 3 of BSD when Mori subtly give leadership advice to Dazai and I wish there was somoene who edited this with the Lion King OST because I feel lile they would be like that.

"-Look Dazai. Everythings that's in the shadow is the PM territory. And one day you will reign over it

-and what's in the light ?

-It's millitary police's and unusual superpower division's territory. We don't go there"

Idk I just can't get this scene out of my head even if Mori would probably not tell Dazai he will be the next PM boss. He just except it from Dazai and I'l sure he would be proud of hil if he become the newt boss (but he will die oooh so sad )': )

Pacific Rim fans, this one's for you

If you, like me, are a Pacific Rim fan (big surprise, I tagged the post), then you will probably know that the in-universe timeline of the movie takes place in January 2025.

But wait, I said to myself many months ago, that's next January!

We've had some truly wonderful zines and challenges this year and last, but I wanted to put together something of my own to throw into the mix, and I came up with a simple idea that's been done a million times before: a prompt month! With no sign-up necessary, I thought it might be fun to throw together a prompt list for the month of January, set out a tumblr tag (and maybe an Ao3 collection, if I can figure out how those work) that we can all use, and have a shared little celebration of this movie we all love in our corner of the internet.
