Agreed - I need to know who it is so that I can do research and have some idea of what we can expect.

For example, If it's Kristen Bell, she has written two episodes of The Tiny Chef Show, and four episodes of Family Game Fight, and is the creator of Momsplaining with Kristen Bell (obviously). She was also the director of an episode of The Good Place, and finally, she was heavily involved with Anna's arc in F2 and helped develop her overall personality in F1. She seems more comfortable with heartwarming, familial storylines and focuses on character work. Thus, if she is writing/directing F3, I'm definitely expecting the comedy and familial focus to shine through, as well as highlighting the sister's independent personalities. Thus, she may struggle more with the overall plot and worldbuilding, but thrive on the character's development.

But this is just an observation after watching her stuff. Yes. I watched her stuff in preparation if my theory is correct. That's not weird. Not at all.

I'd like to do this when the director is officially announced. Go check out their stuff to get an idea of what to expect. Of course, as I viciously advocate for in Jen Lee's defense, Disney Corp. and other Disney writers may force themselves onto the new director and force them to change things, which I'm also preparing for.

We all agree mansplaining is annoying and cursed, but momsplaining is just as bad imho.

With this I mean a Karen-type asking how did you do something and then proceeding to explain to you how you've done it by baseless assumptions, all high and mighty talking over you as if they knew what they're talking about when they clearly don't.

I. Hate. That.

Case in point: that annoying mom at Comicon who stopped me to ask how I made my cosplay, turned at her poor daughter with a "see, we don't need to buy a 100€ prop" (the Garnet Rod is hard to find and definitely not cheap, sure, although there are less expensive ones around the net) and then started to assume what materials I used while I was talking with "yeah, yeah, you used a curtain rod" which uh, nope, that's an aluminum tube for plumbing, you dipshit, a curtain rod would have been heavy and literal hell to carry around for a whole day.

Also, I didn't use resins of any kind, the bottom part of my bodice was perfectly fine, I wasn't wearing a bodysuit because I had shorts underneath the skirt, it doesn't matter that the skirt isn't sewn to the bodice because I made the dress with the idea I could be able to switch the skirt and ribbons to play another Senshi if I want to, and no, Sailor freakin Pluto has no sleeves, I didn't forget them, she just doesn't have them! (I did, although, forgot at home my tiara, but the bloody idiot didn't notice I wasn't wearing one, with all the things she pointed out she didn't see the only one I got wrong, lol)

Bitch.

I pity her daughter tho, she looked so mortified I wanted to pat her head and assure her there will come a day when she'll be able to go to a Comicon on her own without that annoying prick on her back.

People who keep saying that Appalachia should've been prepared for this really know nothing about the area or weather. This wasn't a "once in a lifetime" thing. This was a "this has never happened since Noah" kind of thing. It's one thing to live below sea level and have this happen, it's a whole other to literally live in the mountains and have your home wash away or have water covering your house. People had less than a days warning of how bad it might be and nothing said it would be this bad. On the coast people know a week ahead what will likely happen because it happens all the time. It's not the same.
