chapter 394 hxh

It’s that time again to review the latest chapter of hunter x hunter

Buckle Up! The Black Whale is a bumpy ride! (Spoilers)

Ooh boy oh man well we’ve yet again gotten MORE piles of information plastered on to a million layer information pile. I can’t wait to decipher more of it /hj.

It reminds me of those duct tape balls or whatever they are that people like cut and then it goes crazy... if that made no sense to you, sorry lol

Back to the old guy and Hinrigh

I was so confused at this point and right at the beginning of the chapter too :sob:

So let’s do a little review.

In chapter 393, they were looking for the room because if there was a wall there, it would have revealed them to have a hideout, them being the Heil-Ly, and they were looking for a Corporal...

The corporal they had, though, knew this, and was the one to show them this because Hinrigh and ... err... Cha-R underboss (I still forgot his name) ... had both paid him to.

Then they found this old guy, who is obviously suspicious and I am guessing had an ability to take over people’s bodies but not be there themselves.

He definitely has something to do with the Heil-Ly family, but I’m not sure if his ability is given from Morena, because he said he had a history of this kind of thing... Not sure if he was just saying something to be strange, though.

I’m still confused about the corporal they’re looking for.. I skimmed through the last chapters but couldn’t find anything that made sense to me.

Oh well,

It seems that the whole room was a trap, and only people come through to the Heil-Ly, not objects.

Rest in peace this guy. He lived for like 3 seconds.

The Heil-Ly are just spawning random teleportation points for their members to get levels quickly by immediately killing whoever steps through. Quite a dark way to put it, but they’re basically XP farming

Also, how do they know they’ve reached another level??? Does it just tell them in their mind? Do they feel a weird level up sensation?

What are these side-notes :sob: “Ty, Mad Jelly, OHHH NOOO”

It might just be the translation, though... Some are weird like that (I won’t ever forget “What’s that? What the hell going on here?!”)

394 hasn’t come out yet on viz, so. I’m surprised. I thought that after 391 they would make you pay for them? urr... Oh well.

His occupation is just “Corrupt Lawyer” :sob: I looked over the viz translations, and the occupations were some different so this is probably the case for Corrupt Lawyer as well.

They are going to capture one of Tserriednich’s guards!!?!?!?! Uh oh, well guess what that means, it’s time to introduce even new characters in a little bit.

Oh boy oh boy here’s the new characters I live them. They’re Tserriednich’s soldiers, and as stated before, they’re going against Morena now because Tserriednich is now. They’re so interesting...

Mm now were getting into the significance of nicknames as well. “Tserri”

This guy, Otoshin, is really smart but also very dumb.

Dopey lookin’ eyes.

Oh boy, if he really is going to be placed in the front line, does that mean he’ll be extra exposed and be the (possibly first out of several) guard to be captured..?

His first couple of panels are gender I’m leaving I can’t do this anymore Togashi.

Is this the corporal that they were looking for? Hm. It’s my best guess, but I’m not sure which side he’s on though, and why he would be in the hide-out... or was a corporal missing and they were looking for them? I am lost on this.. but I’m going for that it’s this corporal (Corporal Gipper, apparently).

Also she is very pretty I’m getting up and leaving again.

Time for another load of info,

Mmm... So they found a body of a Cha-R member in the Heil-Ly when clearing it through. The room was already looked through, so that means they purposefully looked over the body. They being the police and army.

This guy then brings up the HA (Hunter Association) and explains that they wouldn’t let something like this slide. He says that it could lead to HA distrusting Kakin and their forces, and there being even more disputes.

The lady (I love her hair) brings up the HA’s specific jobs (Guarding princes (oh hello Giuliano, hi there.), and supporting tier 3), and doubts that they would get involved in the mafia.

This guy counters that with talking about more about the hunter association, in particular the bodyguards.

If the bodyguards find out that the mafia has blood ties with their princes, they will view them as competitors, and want to protect their princes against the illegitimates.

Nobody else would have a problem with that, since basically everybody else may or may not be after the mafia, there could be a war brought between the Mafia and the Kakin Empire.

The Heil-Ly wants to bring about this unbalance, so they’d be getting what they want by this happening.

Phew. I think that explains this whole page.

I live them .......

They all seem to have a relationship with the Prince, or rather, had. Tserriednich lore moment! Given that Otoshin apparently didn’t get shot at when he called him out, I would say that he was probably the closest to him.

Oh my. That would make it even worse then if Morena used Contagion on him.

Anyways.
