WIP TIME CUZ IM HYPED

Okay so if anyone's been following me for a while, you know pose modding has been a thorn in my side for a while. For some ungodly reason I just was having the hardest time. Don't ask me why, I dunno wtf was up, pretty sure I was over thinking it and making it more complicated for myself than it needed to be but what ever.

I have been continuously getting frustrated putting things away coming back to it later etc etc. But I kept coming back cuz I was determined to get it. I had gotten a couple poses working as replacers but that was as far as I had gotten with it.

I love having ANY problem solving skills at all, I never could get the SKSE (skyrim script extender) to work in MO2 (Mod organizer). Now that it does work, so does Sky UI, and my favorite Mod Legacy of the dragonborn works so much better.

For anyone who doesn't know what Legacy of the Dragonborn is, it is a Large scale quest/ museum Mod.

Things this mod adds

-a museum dedicated to your exploits as the dragonborn. The more main, side, and radiant quests you complete, it adds displays honoring your large and small achievements. This includes mastering skills.

-displays for all the unique items and treasures you find. Like the colored portal gems you find in the dawngaurd dlc.

-adds artifacts from all over the elderscrolls anthology, including deadric artifacts like the face of terror, daedric crescent, and the sixth house bell hammer.

-adds quest lines, the more treasures you find and return to the museum.

-adds a new guild The Explorers guild

It's so stinkin' cool. It really meshes well with how I've always played games. I always kept the unique trinkets and treasures, and this game kinda rewards me for doing something I always did anyway. Especially when it comes to artifact weapons, you could easily surpass with weapons you could make yourself. Now, I definitely can't play the game without this particular mod. I will literally remove mods that conflict with it because THAT'S the one I must have working.

I've seen a lot of newbies jump head first into NPV making and I just wanna say something real quick.

Don't be discouraged if you're struggling.

That's a tough project to tackle if you've never done any modding before. You can do it, it's just gonna be a lil harder if you don't have certain knowledge already going into it. That doesn't mean it's impossible. Go slow, take your time. If you start getting frustrated take a step back take a break and come back to it in a bit.

Hi! Can I ask if you perhaps have a tip for refitting sleeves (or trousers or similar stuff) to Cyberpunk? 😭 I want to port a jacket but trying to refit the sleeves (that are higher positioned and straight, which is like, so far off from cp77) is giving me actual nightmares 😭 Please halp

Oh anon I feel you so bad LOL From what I understand you're trying to refit is what we usually call "T pose", CP2077 uses "A pose" (... but in a very different position than most A pose models you'll find online)

I'll be honest that I usually avoid that type of project myself as it requires lots of patience, most of my ports are done with Marvelous Designer combined with a Cyberpunk Model which allows the software to mostly refit it for me.

What you're gonna need is indeed some patience, and moving things around with the scale/rotation/moving tool whilst having Proportional Editing on (if you're in Blender).

@pinkyjulien has way more practice doing that type of manual fitting between these rigs so I'm gonna tag him, as he's offered to add some proper guidance/visuals to help out! <3
