Just gonna throw this mod idea out there because I keep thinking about it...

I've been slowly implementing preferred sub hobbies for sims based on Pleasantsims random hobbies. Basically if a sims true hobby is sports, then you randomize sports hobbies and then basketball is their favorite, or if their true hobby is art then maybe pottery is their hobby, etc etc.

I was just thinking it would be cool to have a mod that checks their true hobby and then randomly assigns them one in their inventory, like the trait system or favorite color system.

Julien/Marnie/Roman:

Canon. After some events in the prologue, Julien needs a new place to stay and rents a room in a house shared by Marnie and Roman, an already established couple (oh my god, they were roommates!). Their shared love for music leads them to form a band together, and as they become closer, feelings blossom. A drunken kiss leads to a very apologetic and anxious Julien and a lot of confusion between Marnie and Roman, as the realize they're also each developing feelings for him. They eventually have a conversation, admitting their feelings for each other, and become a polycule. They are a triangle, as they're all dating each other. (Julie also has a journey as he explores his gender identity, which isn't relevant to the polycule propaganda, I guess, but something I always like to see. Go read the comic!!!)

Elise/Hotaru/Kayla:

Canon. A group of high schoolers and their basketball coach survive the apocalypse together, Kayla and Hotaru being part of this group. Later, they find an ex-classmate's (Elise) house where they can hideout for a while with another group of survivors from their school. Hotaru and Elise don't seem to get along at first, despite having a mutual crush on each other. When the house is attacked by zombies, Elise confesses her love for Hotaru just before saving her and getting bit. This leads to a lot of conflicted feelings, as Hotaru has to figure out her feelings for Kayla while grieving the loss of Elise. Hotaru and Kayla start dating, and after a while it's revealed Elise survived, in a way, by cutting out the bitten arm and only partially turning. Conflicted feelings ensue and they eventually become a polycule. (Go read the comic!!!)

He doesn’t care one way or another if you're more masc or fem. He loves you for you, and nobody can tell him anything or change his mind.

If you’re more “sporty” masc, he’s down bad. Likes to talk to you about football, basketball, even about going golfing with Michael and Trevor. He wants to take you to sports bars with him, he’s shelling out big bucks to get y’all floor seats to your favorite basketball team, he’s buying you signed jerseys. He’s living for you being into the same things he is.

He’s a big car guy, and if you’re also into cars then it’s a huge bonus for him. He likes taking you to go see races, he wants to take you to Los Santos Customs to help him pick out different mods for his car, he’ll even offer to pay for you to get your car custom rims or a new racing spoiler.

He loves that, since you’re a little tougher and more masc, you can hang with his friends. Lamar is a cool, good guy, but he’s got a foul mouth, no verbal filter, and he makes stupid decisions that often get him and Frank into trouble. And if you’re down to hang out and keep up with his best friend then that’s all the better. He loves you for it.

He’s in the kitchen struggling to open a jar and you come in, like, “I got you, babe.” and easily open it for him. He’s honestly a little embarrassed but also…turned on?? It takes him a second to sort through those feelings.

Seeing you outside in the summer, in your swimwear, cleaning his pool for him or taking care of things in the backyard is honestly so hot to him. Like, he felt a little bad when you asked to do it the first time. But after he realized you enjoyed it, he honestly enjoys just sitting back and watching you do your thing. It’s sexy watching how you handle yourself and know what you’re doing.

He knows you can do a bunch of things on your own- moving furniture, fixing things around the house, taking out heavy trash, or maintaining the yard. But he’ll never take advantage of you. Everything the two of you do is just as equal as if you were super fem.

Loves playing video games with you. He may even buy a whole other tv and console for his living room so you two can play at the same time and play online with Lamar. He gets really competitive and he loves it when you do too. Especially if you help him gang up on poor Lamar when he’s on another team.

Trevor Philips:

His ideal woman is a classy, cultured, older woman anywhere from 50 or older (Patricia). But a cool, masc, tomboy-ish girl would be a fairly close contender for second!

He’s gross, his place is nasty, he’s foul mouthed, and he probably hasn’t showered all week. Someone who’s softer, or more hyper-fem may be more easily put off by him and his lifestyle. But if you’re more masc and tougher you’ve got a better fighting chance of not being utterly grossed out by him.

He likes that you can keep up with him without worrying about getting dirty, or messing up your clothes, or getting blood (or other fluids) on you.

He does sometimes forget that you are still a woman and may appreciate softer treatment occasionally. You’re tough, he respects you as an equal, and sometimes it slips his mind that you’re not actually one of the guys.

Michael, while he is Trevor’s best friend, tends to be far more old fashioned than he is. And if Michael ever commented about how you “shouldn’t come along because you’re a woman” or how having you do something is a “man’s job”, Trevor will vehemently defend you. He trusts you and your skills without question and it doesn’t matter that you’re a woman. You’re tough, you're competent, and he knows you know what’s up.

Gets off to seeing you handle guns and other weapons. Whether you’re cleaning one of his guns, sharpening a knife, practicing shooting at the range, or blowing away cops and methed out bikers, he’s fully hard and ready to go just watching you. Seeing you handle any dangerous weapons makes him imagine you handling his….weapon 👀

He likes wrestling/rough housing with you. He may get a little too rough so you may have to remind him to chill a bit, occasionally. But he loves tackling you, snatching you up from behind, he likes when you try to overpower him or fight back when he playfully grasps your wrists and pushes at you. He just likes any excuse to be physical with you, honestly.

Hello and welcome! For those of you who don't follow sports, March is a time of hot-blooded rivalry! And this site loves nothing more than fighting about gay shipping, so why not embrace the March Madness spirit? Yeah actually! I'm named after my mother's sister who passed away when she was 10. (My mom named me that for a bad reason though. It was to spite her siblings when she got more inheritance when her mom dues. Some whole mess. Don't care for my given name)

It was from me being too frustrated from a family interaction where for 2 hours I don't think I got a single sentence out that wasn't interrupted or spoken over. That was 2 weeks ago roughly?

his type of significant other is a gentle person, so I can see him pursuing Penny for his first save file

on his second playthrough, he tries to go for Leah, but he ends up marrying Penny again – what can he say; he’s loyal

he’s the type of player who gets to bed right before the clock hits 2:00AM

his favorite part of the game is the customizability of the farm – his is so intricate, he even downloaded a mod to have even more custom stuff

has a multiplayer save file with Kagami and a few other friends where he has decorated every house to fit what he thinks they would like – he’s usually purposefully wrong

Kagami

he only plays the shared save file with Kuroko because he usually doesn’t make time for videogames

and usually when he does have time, he chooses something with a little more firepower

so you best bet Kagami is the type of asshole to craft a bunch of bombs and then accidentally set them off around some very intricately placed decorations

more basketballs seemed to find his face for weeks after that

but when he meets Krobus for the first time, he thinks that the shadow creature is a pretty cute shape and it sold some pretty great stuff

Murasakibara only ever gets Krobus to 8 hearts however, because he doesn’t realize Krobus is a ‘dateable’ character

still visits Krobus regularly to get some cool stuff for his farm

speaking of his farm, it’s a mess

his crops are anywhere and everywhere, there’s no organization, there are weeds and tall grass all around – what is he even doing?

Akashi

Akashi never has time for videogames, so he never really gets to play Stardew unless those rare nights of insomnia come along and he has nothing else to do but try to coax his mind to rest

because he only plays at odd hours and so infrequently, nobody has ever seen him online, but they do see the playtime on his account go up every so often

he plays with headphones on; one, because he doesn’t want anyone to know he’s awake, and two, he enjoys the music in the game

actually mostly goes around the map talking to all the neighbors – reading the dialogue helps tire his eyes out – so his farm is the bare minimum he needs to advance in the game

I just want to say a big thank you to the all-seeing mod and to all the creators and fans who are making this competition such a unique experience, it really is inspiring to see such creative people (and Turtles) converging in one place!

As a relatively recent member of this fandom, I was unaware of most of these AUs. Of course, I want my favorites to win, but for me all creators deserve a medal for giving us such intriguing and wonderful stories! I think with all the content I'm going to walk out of here with, it's safe to say I'm not going to leave the TMNT fandom for the rest of my life, and for that I thank you all.

Hobbies

Hi! You may have seen my mod idea I posted a couple weeks ago about hobbies... basically I am starting to give my sims a hobby based on their true hobby (sports, nature, cuisine, etc). If their true hobby is fitness, then I will randomize a few different activities to make their favorite hobby. This, for me, adds more personality to the sim and also pushes me to use different objects and aspects of the game that I don't normally use. The mod idea was to have this hobby randomly generated using tokens like the favorite color and traits mod. Anyways! I am not 100% sure if it will be made - anyone can take this idea and run with it! I think some plans started which is super exciting! But I just wanted to share my list of hobbies so far that I like! These don't particularly have to increase their hobby enthusiasm in my opinion. What other fandoms are you in? Any Anime or Games that you like?

Well, honestly, I have a distant relationship with Fandom. I tend to just carve out my little niches.

I think part of that I'm a BIG O COMICS FAN. And the is a rough fandom that I don't like interacting with because I don't think it's enough of talking about the *art* of comic making and more about how your fave is better than everyone else. Minus 10 points if your favorite is Batman and you think Batman could be everyone. With that, you may have noticed I'm a Big Jason Todd reader. And while I'm staying away from main line continuity right now, I just picked up Robin Lives #2.

But Also I need to pick up the second volume of My Favorite Thing is Monsters (Please please ask me about this comic it's so good)

Anime wise, I haven't kept up today. I watched first season of Demon slayer. But that's about as recent as I got. I do really love the classic though Sailor Moon (And a lot of magical girl stuff), Space Pirate Captain Harlock (mostly anything Leiji Matsumoto but Harlock was is a special interest of mine Like I hunted SSX and I own a DVD of the 97 series as well has having the ZIV dub) and Black Jack are the things I can think off the top of my head.

Games I've been playing a tone of Coral Island recently. By that, It shouldn't be a surprise, I've played a lot of (modded) Stardew and Animal Crossing. But If you to really get me going, any Supergiant Games Game. Particularly Hades and Pyre. Pyre is one of those games I can't recommend… Because it feels specifically made for me with 1) an amazing story and 2) 3 on 3 basketball. That bit's not a joke. That's actually gameplay. And I'm not playing Hades 2 yet because Supergaint's Stories are so good. I'm happy with just waiting for the full release.

Cryptid of the Day!

Side note: Later on your going to see a LOT of creatures from Brazil, because god DAMN do they have some interesting stuff. It’s funny, all around the world you see repeats of similar cryptids with slightly different aspects and names. I could spend all day talking about different cryptids from different parts of the world that are bipedal, unusually large primates, or long necked, humongous sea monsters the seem to find their way into any lake big enough to fit a kayak. But Brazil?? If you want something unique and original , look to almost any cryptid that’s popped up in Brazil.

Capelobo: NOW, I best be getting to the actual topic of the day; the capelobo of Brazil! Capelobo’s are lycanthropes, like Werewolves! ….. except werewolves are probably not the best comparison. So let’s go through the process of the Capelobo. Let’s say you’re old, wrinkly, hunched over and frankly just sick of being well…. Old. So! You do what any sensible senior citizen such as yourself would do: sell your humanity and sense of morality in exchange for a new body, your Capelobo body!! Now remember, once you have chosen to become a capelobo, you may never return to your human body or your humanity, but you are gifted with two new forms! These two forms would include your animal form, a tapir with some oddly dog like features, and your humanoid form. Now, the animal form is really just for disguise, what capelobos are REALLY known for is their primary humanoid, ‘werewolf’ form. You are given the head of an anteater (or in some, rare myths, the head of a tapir or a dog), the body of an incredibly buff man (plus a bunch of fur), long, powerful anteater claws, and two bottle shaped legs with PERFECTLY rounded hooves that make your tracks especially unique! Plus! You are also gifted with a banshee screech that can be heard from over ten miles away and drive victims straight up insane, incredible strength, basketball player hight, impenetrable skin, and a foul smell! And yes I know, compared to all of your other new abilities, foul smell sounds like an insult, but honestly….. it’s kind of your new best weapon. When I say foul, I mean FOUL. The sheer power of the capelobo’s stinky-ness is enough to stun its prey, rendering it completely unconscious and giving it headaches and dizziness for days after if it were to somehow survive the encounter. All together, I don’t know about you but that sounds like a pretty damn good deal to me! You could waste away in a nursing home watching jeopardy as you slowly fade into eternal unconsciousness, OR, you could spontaneously become an (honestly ) kind of over powered buff ass furry that lives significantly longer life being a forest goblin! I mean, really, of course my default answer would initially be “FUCK YEAH!! FURRY-IFY ME!” But before we get to hasty, let us into our ‘lovely’ little capelobo life style first….

The Tea:

Despite what you may assume from their giant claws and muscles capable of ripping a man in half without a sweat, capelobos aren’t necessarily meat eaters. But they sure as hell are carnivores! Capelobos are actually vampiric! They survive primarily out of sucking the blood out of their victims, and sometimes sucking the brains of their prey straight out of their skull.

Capelobo’s are beasts, and they are considered evil, but not because they’re man eaters. Don’t get me wrong, capelobo’s are known for draining a guy who’s in the wrong place at the wrong time, but humans really aren’t on their list of common prey. See, it’s the diet that me back the hell out, and drops these guys out of lost for my top three favorite cryptids. These guys just live off cute baby animals. Specially kittens, puppies and baby goats. Like- all of the cutest baby animals of all time.
